L. l. W.We ordered for a specific time and it arrived on point. Food was lovely and the staff are very accommodating when asking to change items on a set meal. Well done to all at Shama.
D. S. (.Unfortunately the food was nearly an hour late (I was quoted 20 minutes for delivery), that being said, it arrived piping hot and very tasty, full compliments to the chef, however, I suggest the restaurant updates it's delivery timings as that was not so hot.
A. J.I was staying near East Midlands Airport and found this Indian on Just Eats as they were delivering. I was concerned about the poor reviews on this site so spoke to the owner prior to ordering for reassurance. The other bad reviews should questioned!
I chose from their vegan menu which was refreshing to see. Bombay potatoes, mushroom rice and garlic tandoori bread. It was all delicious and delivery was on time. The food was madras heat which was fine for me but you might prefer to ask for something milder if this is the default heat. You can check out many reviews on other platforms if you're still not 100% sure but from me a seasoned lover of Indian food I give them my full blessing!
K. S.Ordered with a 50% off offer on Uber eats with delivery to Mansfield. I was half expecting them to cancel the order as it's so far away but they honoured the delivery despite calling me to double check the delivery post code. The delivery was on time according to the estimate and the food was amazing. I'd definitely recommend and hope they'll delivery over here again!
I.Great, tasty and good portion sizes! The delivery was fairly speedy and the driver communicated well and was so so kind :) Definitely ordering again, I enjoyed everything I ordered!

This time I must say I ordered the chicken with chilli and garlic sauce and found the meat to be lacking a little compared to other orders but I'm happy to brush this under the rug as the rest of the meal was absolutely spot on. Perhaps a glitch with the UberEats app, as it showed this restaurant up as 'local' with good delivery times? Least I could do was leave a good review. Would recommend 👌. Thanks a lot.

p. b.The first time we ordered the curry and delivery was 5 star but tonight we’ve ordered the delivery again 5 star the chicken saag and shama special were good but the chicken kirari was very tasteless and didn’t enjoy it at all,tasted like a curry with no spices in it
c. v.My go to takeaway!! Always delicious, fresh and delivered hot. The staff in-store and delivery are friendly and polite and always get your meal to you on time or sooner. Today I ordered my usual (chicken tikka starter and garlic chilli chicken curry) throigh Just Eat, and unfortunately the wrong curry was delivered. I rung back up, the guy who answered was very apologetic, said to keep both the curry and rice and he'll get the correct order sent out asap as well. I only had to wait around 15-20 minutes this time and they brought me a drink as a sorry too. The delivery guy was friendly and chatty and I was soon settled with my tea. They've also saved me hassle of cooking dad's tea tomorrow evening so that's a nice added bonus!! 😂

L. A.Have been ordering from here for the past few years and always enjoyed the food. Lately however, the food is overly spicy and my usual dish, a Chicken Karahi, tastes no where near as authentic and fresh as it used to.
L. R.Have been using Sharma for a few years & have always been happy but the last 2 occasions the food has been really chilli hot. I've never had a Korma with chilli in! The prawn puri starter has now left my lips tingling & unable to taste anything else which has never happened before Although I don't want to I'm going to have to find somewhere else to order from 😔

My local Indian takeaway, switch it up during lockdown whether I order from their website directly or on Deliveroo.
I wouldn't necessarily go here if I'm looking for truly authentic Asian-style food but a few things that I can guarantee every time I order - they're reasonably-priced, tasty and come in large portions!

W. S.We've ordered often from Sharma but not for a while as they appeared to have two chefs in rotation, and it was impossible to predict which was working. One was awesome, the other not. Tonight is Friday 24th Aug and Chef Awesome was on duty. I had Lamb Spinach Balti and asked for it to be extra hot, and it was the perfect level of heat. As is the case with Chef Awesome it was very tasty and didn't have a layer of oil riding the surface (see Chef Not). My wife had a prawn royal korma and said it was good (she's a woman of few words). Recommended.

Both curries were brilliant, esp chicken.
Nans were good, had two different types. Also had Chappatis. Seemed If the chappati flour was mixed with nan flour also, which was slightly a let down.
Would have given five starts had they not forgot my Raita, salad & pickle.
When you buy two curries, three different types of bread, and popadoms, you expect a few pickles etc.
