The service was slow we go often and it doesn't get any faster. The food is decent. But the waiting is very annoying especially if you have young kids they get bored. They are aware and have been accomodating for children with sensory issues my daughter was upset by the smell in one of the rooms the carvery was being done in and main room was fully booked and they moved us to the lounge which was better as didnt smell of food and sauces she was able to wait better and then enjoy her meal without having to worry

I have not been in to Stadium for some time, primarily it is a large snooker hall, which is separated from the bars and the restaurant. I wanted to look at the function room for an up and coming event we have, Surprised just doesn't cover it, the place had changed massively. They have put in a huge investment in alterations, I almost didn't recognise the place. The manager showed us the function room, (which we have hired), and new layout of lounges and bars, it is excellent. There is a small car park at the front of the building, and separate street parking at the side. Wheelchair friendly, with easy access to all rooms. We then met a young lady called Nisha, Nisha explained just what was available, catering, the amount of time we could have the room, availability for decoration etc, nothing seemed too much trouble. As an added bonus it was reduced price steak night in the Steak House Restaurant which has been added, so we stayed for dinner. We will definitely be back. Steak night is every Thursday incidentally.

Went here for my birthday meal (14.8.21) and the staff were so welcoming and so friendly! The place has just been done up too and looks beautiful!! The restaurant manager (forgot her name, really sorry!) was so kind and even made me a special off the menu cocktail and got it so perfect! (Needs to be added to the menu, honestly) the other wait-staff were brilliant too! The food was absolutely brilliant, so much to choose from and at such a great price! Overall, brilliant service and great atmosphere!! Would definitely recommend, Thank you all so much! :)

Can't thank the Stadium venue and staff enough for my daughter and now son-in-laws wedding reception. Darren the manager went above and beyond by becoming the impromptu Master of Ceremonies. Is this the cheapest 3 course meal in Nottingham and maybe the UK. We've been coming to Stadium Leisure for a number of years because they serve good honest homecooked food at very affordable prices. We had their 3 course meal £6.99. Starters Breaded Mushrooms Mexican Wedges Mains Roast Turkey & Stuffing Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding Desserts Crumble & Custard Fudge Cake & ice cream You have to get there early as it soon gets busy. Their restaurant has had a lovely make over and is looking very smart. We highly recommend their steaks too. They have their own in house butchery. The staff are lovely and very hard working.

Came here during COVID19 and you can be safe knowing that staff are wearing PPE, hand sanatiser is available as you walk in, one way entry and exit system. I was initially weary about coming here as I previously saw a review stating there were no PPE for staff and I am a high risk myself so it did put me off a little, however, as mentioned staff were wearing PPE, which put me a ease. Onto the food, I've never been here before and came with my friend, we both ordered the Garlic Chicken and you have the choice of Chips or other options but I can't remember what they are. I didn't have any expectations but when I had my first bite, it was very flavoursome! In fact every bite I had of the chicken was full of flavour so I would definitely recommend this meal choice! The chips were nice, they need seasoning added to them which was provided along with sauce options, but I did get a lot of small crispy ones and the peas were a bit meh. The inside felt a bit dim and due to the lack of music it felt a bit quiet, however, due to the current situation I can understand the limitations that are in place. Overall it was still a really nice meal and I will visit again if I'm in the area.

The manager on staff took time out to speak with my husband and its little things like that will keep loyal customers. I would recommend this hot spot to everyone concerned about safety as they have multiple large rooms and you will not be disappointed. My husband and I forgot about this place as it is right at our doorstep and thought after our meal today...why have we been going into town when this place offers excellent value for money. Make sure to come on an empty stomach as the portions are large.

First time coming here it says membership only but on arrival able to join at door. Had a wonderful evening at the Sunday bingo. The entertainment was brilliant pocket rocket Paul was great fun and accommodated our requests. Room was clean and well maintained they provided a free buffet for bingo players cold and hot food was well presented and hot food was hot. The evening was a great success and the bingo prices was reasonable too. Played sticky 13 in the breaks. Not a great choices of ales but that's my own preference. Drinks could be a tad cheaper but that's life..... Recommend and evening here I have tickets for the ladies night 31st January looking forward to another great evening. Found by accident one Sunday, this is a busy steak house within a local chain, although a little noisy, the ambiance in the room was not disturbed. The staff were very friendly and helpful with a wide choice of food on the menu, the food was really tasty with good portions, and the steak's wow, cooked to perfection. There are four bars off from the restaurant 2 have pool and snooker tables. One of the bars is a family room, during the week there's a quiz night, bingo, and live entertainment. The menu has food deal's throughout the week. We will definitely revisit this restaurant. Quality.

Been going to the stadium for years, whenever there is a family birthday or celebration we usually end up booking a table here, great food and great service. Visited a couple of weeks ago on steak night and I've not seen most of the staff in there before but I can't complain at all. The service was quick and the waitress was very friendly and stood and had a laugh with us, she even chose my dessert when I couldn't decide between two and the food was it's usual top quality standard, piping hot and delicious.... can't imagine it will be long before we go again :)

Been coming here for a while and the food,staff ,and service had always been exemplary but popped on for breakfast today and oh my days service was quick and ok but the SPECIAL BREAKFAST well can't say there was anything special about it if I'm honest it's basically just a small breakfast on a bigger plate when something get advertised as SPECIAL you expect maybe a larger breakfast bottomless tea or coffee bit of black pudding maybe but this was a small breakfast with was a very hard over cooked sausage overdone egg toast already buttered and a choice of beans or tomatoes so if I'm honest not that impressed really .don't eat a lot of fry ups 1per month maybe so on the occasion that I do have one want it to be as advertised SPECIAL want a mug of tea or bottomless coffee want to butter my own toast that sort of thing will I continue to eat there yes of course will it be for breakfast no had a lot better breakfasts at the same price

Food good, facilities good, however not enough staff. Dinner booked for 1pm, got starter at 1:45. Got mains 3pm!!!! Most of us still waiting for sweet. Supervisor kept denying any fault. 40 of us will think hard about whether to return or not. This after more than 4 years of custom!! Boss was generous and made a noble expression of retribution with a fair refund.

Brilliant service, I was hot, so they put on the air con, I changed my mind on what food I wanted 5 mins after ordering and they didn't mind dealing with that. Rating is based on restaurant and food only. Went for a family meal of 15 just after christmas as we could not all meet up in the christmas holiday. So this was our Christmas meal in January. SL did make an effort with a christmas themed table. Food choice is fairly good and mainly grill based. Kids menu like most covers the basics with no real alternatives to the norm. Kids do eat steak, curries, fajitas, lasagne not just chicken nuggets and sausages!!!! Service was ok but not all food was served at the same time with some orders being missed!! Gap between first starter and last starter being served was 25 minutes! Main courses same as starters really but with miss stating some steaks which lead to people eating oher peoples steaks!!!! My fajita chicken was overcooked and replaced without fuss or an apology. Food is value for money but not on a par with a good wetherspoons. Was not busy so this was a bonus and we were not rushed. Overall ok but I would not make a specific visit here for food if I was choosing. Please note that this is based on my opinion.

The food is ok but the restaurant is a bit un tidy as for the toilets 🚻 what a mess & this was at 4.0pm,broken toilet seats, toilet rolls all over the wet floor & that was the ladies, don't want to mention the mens. The restaurant needs proper management.
