oh so yummy, cocktails and food was delicious, please please open one in Manchester, so pretty and so much choice for everyone on your menu, I had the chickpea curry it was so good, couldn't finish it though! would definitely recommend

Fantastic Indian restaurant a stone’s through from Nottingham’s Market Square and Vicky Centre. Essentially a vegetarian restaurant serving a number of meat dishes rather than the other way round. Excellent vegan and gluten free choices too. Delicious authentic Indian food, full of flavour, good price £12 ish for main course but lots of snack/lighter options too). Love the decor too.
N. K.
The restaurant ambience is very nice. The food taste is really very good and the food quantity is sufficient. The staff here is super helpful and nice. We enjoyed our dinner there.
H. B.
Very nice and quick service. The waitress was so friendly. Delicious food and huge portions! The place is really well decorated, with a great vibe.

The family had a meal here and it was very nice! Thankfully they also did a kids menu that included non-indian style food, so we also got few issues with the kids complaining! The kids meals are not cheap, in fact if you go when the £11 meal offer is on (food and drink for £11) there probably is very little difference in price between kids and adults...! Much to the pleasure of my wife we also got buy one get one free cocktails.
Can't fault the place other than cost of kids meals to be honest... service was good, food was good and facilities was good! Would go again if I ever see one again...!

An excellent Indian food restaurant. The good is so yummy and the staff are really friendly. The place could be very crowded at times, but the food there is worth waiting for.
B.
Excellent food and the decor is beautifully presented, colourful and vibrant. I personally find a lot of chain restaurants very bland and over hyped. But this one is filling, tasty and well presented.
Tips: Share a starter. Have an extra nan if you have the thali.
We look forward to our next visit and we can safely say it is a recommended experience, for those tired of the same bland trend.
Z. A.
Lovely interior, great atmosphere, delicious food (best I've tried in Nottingham so far) and friendly staff. Family friendly environment (high chair, colouring crayons and cartoon sheet). Recommend the butter chicken.
Can't wait to visit again.
A. A.
Absolutely delicious. We had the thali and it was amazing. Great choice, the currys and Dahl were delicious. Huge amount of food and the price was so reasonable. Amazing cocktails. Staff were friendly and attentive! Would very highly recommend
R. B.
Tamatanga Thali is my All Time Favorite! Must Try!
Ambience and service is very Good!
Indian Food at its best!
Definitely recommended!

Amazing Indian food with a lot of vegan and gluten-free options. Amazing ambience as well!

I visited Tamatanga with a lovely friend of mine on the 13th of November 2020 and I loved it! The staff are, in my opinion, very friendly and welcoming. They come to check on your table every once in a while to see that you’re having a good time. The ambience is good. The restaurant looks beautiful (very flowery). It’s well lighted too! The food is oh my God, so delicious! I ordered the Punjabi butter chicken and I had it with biryani (you can also order it with naan bread if you wish). My friend ordered the chicken biryani which was also yummy but not as yummy and the Punjabi butter chicken. The cocktail we had was also nice and the amazing thing is that you can order your cocktail without alcohol and two people can share a cocktail because it’s big enough.
In short, I had a good time and I recommend Tamatanga!!!! It’s almost perfect (almost because nothing is perfect)
Hope this helps in some way In Sha Allah.

Tamatanga is a typical Indian restaurant near the city center. The food and drinks were amazing and delicious. Huge portions. Vegan and gluten-free options. Our waitress Anna was very polite, kind, fast and really took care of us and the others. We really highly recommend :)
S. R.
I’ve eaten in and ordered and was blown away each time, absolutely delicious, fresh and perfectly balanced dishes, with some really affordable deals. I also got takeaway and it was just as amazing, their Tamatanga chips are absolutely stunning and really inventive, surpassed my expectations. Service is also great. I recommend so highly!
W. P.
Absolutely unreal!!! Best curry I have ever had. Garlic chilli chicken with naan bread and chips!
the Salmon cooked in a clay oven was also to die for! would definitely recommend this place.
Anna was such an amazing host, she deserves 10 stars!!!!!

Had my first visit to Tamatanga last week and was pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty, surprisingly so. The service from Ana was exceptional and overall, for a busy Saturday evening I think they did very well. Of course it's not "authentic" Indian food but for a chain restaurant it's a really good offer and it's a lively place with a nice atmosphere. The only spoiler for me was having to fight my way through a crowd of deliveroo or just eat riders who seem to have a tendency to hang around the doorway.
S. r.
Lovely food and great atmosphere, the staff were lovely, we arrived and there was a bit of a wait but they soon got us a table, the menu has a lot of variety, there is vegan and Veggie options available. The food was lovely and tasty and we didn't have to wait long considering how busy it was

Wonderful interior design, clean toilets, delicious foods. Keralan lamb curry with plain naan breads is my favourite, it is spicy hot and with tender lamb chunks in.
Poppadums and chutneys is a good starter while waiting for the main course.
Z. A.
One of our most favourite curry houses! Love the recent renovations, brilliant to sit inside. Staff are super friendly and courteous.
Quick service, brilliant quality food and value
You have to get the Tama chips ! Legendary stuff !
S. A.
For lunch we headed over to this relaxed restaurant serving Indian food. The ambience was just amazing. The floral decor and funky murals looked so good. Food was delicious but if you ask my Indian taste buds I would have liked it a little more spicy. But I do understand it would have been kept mild to suit the taste of people here.
Overall a nice experience, I would return to try the chaats. ❤️
.
What we ordered: Veggie Biryani Bowl and Paneer Makhni Bowl with Naan

Wonderful and friendly service as always, the food is just incredible too!
Thoroughly impressed with they're daytime deal, the biryani chicken was just incredible

Went Sunday 20th June, managed to knock a whole pint of Cobra on the floor smashing the glass. The staff were brilliant, moved us to another table and cleaned it all up with no fuss at all. The food was great and the staff were fantastic, Can't wait to go again and I'll try and not cause problems next time. Sorry guys
J. G.
Very nice food, recommended for definitely, clean friendly staff xx super pleasant lady working their Thankyou Ellen. X 🥰

Great restaurant for authentic Indian food and much more
L. D.
Delicious food and good portion size. Worth the money.
Maybe cool so wear extra layers. Been twice this year and was cool both times. They upped the heating but didn't make much difference.
A. F.
Our host Anna was amazing. Warm, friendly and efficient. Made us all welcome. The service was fantastic,we were all looked after. Definitely eating there again.
j. j.
A big thank you to Tania the hostess with great service. We wanted to dine in but had no reservation. Enter Tania. Who explained that she would be able to seat us but we would have to wait. One of the people in our party of 3 had a broken leg so Tania offered us seating in entrance. We watched as Tania saw ri rhe many people coming in and dining. Each one she was attentive and engaging. Wonderful to see such a great person doing their job very well. The food was good too.
A. S.
My favorite place. I love their Tamatanga Thali. Much recommended restaurant to visit
T. A.
Amazing lunch today, the food was delicious. The naan breads were the best I’ve had, fresh, light and fluffy. Perfect for dipping in my curry. Highly recommended.
s. k.
Not authentic for a person from India but it will be fine for local. They are trying to create a brand like Wagamama but too pricey.
Z. N.
An amazing place I would have written a very long, very positive, very detailed review about every single experience there, if I had the time.
In a nutshell, everything is very good: Food tastes as real indian food would taste in Delhi, but more mild to be tolerable and acceptable in the UK; comes with perfect temperature, in a good dishes; many interesting Indian infused set of drinks available as well . Staff are very helpful and friendly. Place was recently redecorated during the lockdown, and it look fabulous and VERY colorful. Prices are good, especially with daytime offer until 6pm.
S. J. D.
Popped in today for lunch with my mum and we loved it! Food was amazing! The staff were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back soon :)
K. G.
Good price for great quality food.
Atmosphere was impressive (felt like central London).
choice for people with allergies was very poor. But overall very good.

Our saviours!
We arrived last minute as a party of 12 and were in a rush for a pub quiz.
Staff were lightening fast and very polite.
Food was decent, but the service was great!

This rating was 2 years ago. I came back this evening again and was not disappointed. Don't know how to leave a second review but stunningly fast service and wonderful tasty food. Thanks!
M. F.
It's an excellent place. Sadly, the UK is plagued with "Indian" restaurants claiming to be Indian when they're actually Bengali, serving us sub-par flavoured water and food colouring in lieu of proper masala. I was pleasantly surprised by Tamatanga - every dish was on point, and while some things could have been tweaked a little bit, the food here is undeniably authentic and delicious. I would definitely come here again and look forward to trying more of what they offer.
Another thing I love is that they serve everything as it comes - there's no starter, then waiting, then mains. In fact, I usually have to specifically ask restaurants to bring things out as they come. I'm a firm believer in variety during a meal, and having two dishes at a time is unappealing. Getting to enjoy everything all at once is a delight to the senses and I'm glad Tamatanga appreciates this sentiment. My recommendations would be the tandoori chicken, garlic naan, and the peach cooler.
J. H.
Good food, reasonably priced and good service!
F. S. S. J.
Very good. Value for money.had barani, served with Yogurt, my Personal performance is sauce. Still enjoyable. Very good and willing to serve waiting staff. We recamend.
S. C.
Been to some expensive curry houses apart from a little tighter on space the food was top notch . portion size good, flavour good and lots of meat in it , definitely give it a go
S. V.
The food is amazing I have to say 100% can not fault it but I’ve indigestion my food was rushed so much they take everything away before you finish. Shame it spoiled it. It was my sons uni open day at Nottingham and this was supposed to end it perfectly. I work in hospitality and this is not counted as good service. Such a shame complements to the chefs. Waitresses please slow down let your guest enjoy the food
J. R.
Always happy to visit Tamatanga. Really good food and at decent prices. Unless get started on the cocktails which are very nice but these start ramping up the price.
r.
Food is always quality & constantly good 👍
O. O.
The food here is really delicious! I've had several different dishes off the menu and they've all been immensely tasty. Everything is also very reasonably priced and they have a very inviting lunchtime deal.
A while ago this would've been five stars but since opening a second restaurant in Birmingham the Nottingham branch doesn't have the same ambience. The food is still super yummy though so overall it's still excellent!
EDIT: This used to be four stars but the prices have crept up considerably. The food is still reasonable especially as it still tastes delicious and the menu offers a large variety of authentic dishes. The drinks however are daylight robbery. Speaking of daylight the daytime deal is no longer as remarkable in terms of value for money. I won't be eating here as regularly as I used to but it's still a really strong establishment that I would wholeheartedly recommend.
EDIT NUMBER 2: The food here has returned to form. Infact, the food on my last visit was absolutely outstanding, incomparable to preceding meals. As far as I'm concerned this restaurant is flawless. The satisfaction you experience as you indulge yourself in any of the excellent options available from the menu completely dissolve any negative claims that could be made against tamatanga.
L. A.
Booked this for my partners birthday and honestly it's amazing the staff are very friendly and helpful the food was divine and I loved the decor all in all worth the money and would definitely recommend :) and the Cocktails are delicious 😋
H. M.
I ordered the Thali. Garlic chilli chicken was great. The lamb curry was over cooked, meat was so hard and tough. Tardka dal was good. The other two veg dishes were not on the menu and were sweet. Raita was spot on. Naans well cooked. Mango lassi awesome.
R. J.
If you are looking for some nice Indian fusion, with great flavours then Tamatanga is the place for you. The service is friendly and fast and the food is excellent and has great indian flavours and spices. Prices are reasonable and they have a good selection of drinks. Don't miss the desserts they heavenly.
K. J.
good for a casual dining experience, we were in an out in around 45 minutes. The food was of a good standard although it did arrive questionably quickly I had the green lamb curry and it was very nice, the naam bread was a bit undercooked, the mojito cocktail was lovely.
V.
Great service, staff are really helpful. There is a good choice of dishes, and they do have gluten free options available. The decor is really vibrant and has a nice atmosphere. I had a lunch special deal for a drink and a main which was a really good price. I did not have to wait long for my meal and it tasted great, you can tell they use fresh ingredients.
A. B.
Great service and lovely food. The food is delivered as it is prepared and was really good. Fast service so ideal if you are in a rush. Nice atmosphere even when not busy.
g.
Delicious food. Lovely staff. Definitely worth a visit x
o.
We ordered the Thali which was plenty for two of us, the plate was full of great flavours. The atmosphere was good and the staff were very pleasant.
R. C.
Amazing food, best place for Indian food in Nottingham but also has a western twist to it on some dishes. Would highly recommend coming here genuine taste and quality food. Always one on my list to visit when in town.
A. J.
Food was lovely, went in for a takeaway, but can't understand how it only costs an extra pound if i ordered it online from deliveroo. you would expect a discount for takeaways as there isn't any overheads. will be ordering from a takeaway in future.
F.
One of our favourite restaurants in Nottingham.
Halal food in the heart of the city centre. Food is very yummy and service with a smile. The tandoori is highly recommended.
A. R.
One of the good Indian restaurant in Nottingham. Very good staff and good ambience. Food is very hygienic. Curry bowls served with naan or rice of Ur choice. located in the centre of the city.no free car parking available and u need to rely on pay parking in the nearest Location.
A.
Thank you to Rebecca today she was lovely and recommended one of the veggie meals which I loved! Such a upbeat, kind , attentive waitress! Credit to the team.
a. D.
Anna and Ella was fantastic they made me satisfied with there warm and friendly service. Good recommendations on food and drinks. Thank you very much
P. S.
The place offers one of the most modern Indian food in Nottingham. Loved the ambiance and the menu. The staff is very helpful and kind. They can easily accommodate small parties. The dal makhani is very authentic to what is served in India. The naan is also very authentic. Do try the mango lassi - one of the best in Nottingham.
S. M.
Fantastic Indian restaurant, lovely cocktails too. Brilliant, vibrant and friendly service from Rebecca. Her energy made our night. Vandlaburds are quality
h. b.
This is the best Indian restaurant I've ever tried. Food is coocked to perfection and they've got great lunch deal during the weekdays for only £8.95!!
Everytime I visit Nottingham I give Tamatanga the priority among all other restaurants, simply because everything is perfect in this place from service to food quality to taste.
I have tried different main courses and they were all perfect and well presented as usual, but what I've enjoyed most was Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter and Lamb Biryani.
I hope they open in Leicester as we lack of like this great kind of restaurants here!
Highly recommend you to give this awesome place a visit!!
M. M.
It was very good the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent and I chatted with the manager about different kinds of mint sauce there is . Thank you for your excellent food and service

Tamatanga was really good, busy for a Sunday night... and buzzing!
Service was really pleasant as the food and drink started to flow. Poppadoms and dips, just the right amount for four adults. Mains delivered sizzling hot and good proportions. Great prices too.
I highly recommend this quirky restaurant.
P. F. (.
Really nice decor, not a fan of the food, but the 2 for 1 deal on cocktails is great.
M. D.
The food was delicious and the prices were quite reasonable for the location, service and quality of the freshly cooked meal. It was certainly one to visit again!
M. K.
Excellent place to eat in town. Great veggie and vegan options. With genuinely helpful staff.
S. Z.
Great service. Food was tasty and the naan we're soft n fresh.
A.
Nice atmosphere, good service usually. Great option for halal food.
M. T.
Really great food. One of the few places that does thali. I took my Indian colleagues here when they came to visit and it was their favourite Indian food of the whole stay.
M. T.
Modern Indian with delicious food. Totally recommend it. The best value for money as well.
D. R.
A definite 5 star. Loved the tandoori chicken very much because haven't tasted such authentic one in other Indian restaurants across UK. Nevertheless, all the dishes we ordered were tasty. Highly recommend anyone to try the food here.
C. G.
Food was brilliant! Staff tried to be kind but clearly didn't want be at the restaurant. One waitress tripped up and almost dropped a tray of food on a friend. At the end of a decent experience, we were charged £10 extra. Would come again but staff aren't very friendly! Food was nice!
M. H. B.
As always, good authentic food, rich in flavour and treat for your taste buds. Also pista lassi is a must try item.
S. K.
Tamatanga was nice. Loved the papdi chaat. Food was lovely.
L. N.
Food was lovely, cooked to perfection. service was terrible, waiters just gave us alot attitude. When I complained about my cocktail not having enough alcohol I was told to purchase an extra shot , which was at similar prices as cocktail. Thought I was a bit out of line really because other place would have given the extra shot for free.
M.
More of a 4.5 ⭐ place. Lovely filling portions, overall nice value for money!
V. L.
Every time i go I fully enjoy the food. The salad, the curry and the chaat. Lovely!
J.
Well decorated and comfortable interior. Nicely sized portions, with great tasting food. Simple, uncomplicated menu to suit most tastes. Perhaps a little on the expensive side, but a nice treat.
M. M.
The best curry in Nottingham! The staff are so lovely, definitely will be back for more tasty food!
V. J.
I visited today this restaurant (for the second time) and had the super delicious chicken with garlic and chillies. It was my second time as well enjoying this dish and I would recommend it if you like intense flavours. The waitress who served me last time welcomed me and Antonia provided efficient service for my fast lunch. Hope to be back soon, thank you team!
I.
Amazing food and service really liked it.
U. P.
Absolute great addition to the Corner House and Trinity Square dining choices. For a chain, the food choices are excellent. I’d invite everyone to try their fruit juice combo with fresh mint and fresh cucumber or pomegranate, and it’s more than just a glass so it’s satisfying. The train cabin curry is the best lamb curry I’ve had for a long time — and I’ve been to michelin starred curry houses in London such as Benares.
What sets this branch apart is also the team of ladies and a young barman that is a joy to watch as they operate like clockwork with efficiency and warmth. I went twice in a week by chance rather than plan but the first visit I thought was a fluke because the female manager was there. When I came back soon after, she was not there but the food quality, presentation and customer service was remarkable still. I had to express this to one of the serving ladies.
I hope that their employers will incentivise this kind of operation at a time when staff in the service industry are in short supply.
H. B.
First time when I came to Nottingham, I wanted to have indian food very badly and one of my friend recommended Tamatanga. And after we had our dinner there, it has become one of the best places to eat indian food in Nottingham! Their staffs are kind and very responsive. Food is amazing!
K. i.
Loved it... The food, the drinks, the decor the service ... Loved it all!
s.
Great food, service could do better but overall recommend!
E. S.
Great tasting food and a great price point. If you can make use of the day time deal then you're in for a bargain. Portions are more than enough, (I couldn't manage a pudding after 1 main). Lovely decor inside with really friendly staff to top it off. Great place to eat, you won't be disappointed!
A. M.
Delicious food, great service, but pricy. Costs around £24 per person for a main meal, drink and appetizer.
S. S.
Great place to dine-in. Enjoyed diverse biryani range.
S. A.
Great service, friendly and helpful staff and amazing food. It has a varied menu and their cocktails are brilliant (go early in the week for 2 for 1 before 7pm).

J. M. D.
Wow food was delicious. Nice staff and quite nice curry. Would defo recommend. Its great here. There could be some mild improvements but other than that the atmosphere is great.
A. U.
Usually when I hear the words fusion cuisine, I expect the food to be a watered down mix of the original. I was pleasantly impressed with the assortment on offer. Friendly staff and a good atmospheric venue.
r. d.
Nice ambiance, was craving for some Indian food and really felt like I am having food back in India. Lovely staff specially the reception lady. She even gave a balloon to my son.

Awesome curries and naans. Lamb curry is amazing. Good service and location as well.

One of the best Indian food you can ever eat outside India!! Tasty food, nice setting and very friendly staff!

The best Indian food in Nottingham. The chicken tikka massala is the best meal and Tamatanga chips is yummy
A. o. a. G. T.
Really lovely Indian Street food. Curries were all exceptionally good. Also, was pleasantly surprised to find out that a naan is basically two naans so you don't need to order etc chips or rice!
Have gluten free and vegan menus as well.
C. W.
Excellent food, wonderful knowledgeable staff and efficient service.
Highly recommend Tamatanga, well worth the money you pay, quality that won't break the bank.

We visit Tamatanga in Nottingham yesterday evening, our server was Ellen and she was totally awesome! She suggested trying a new cocktail put together by Alistair “Call Me Coco” it was a mixture of coconut, peach & other fruit flavours & milky, but at the same time very refreshing and light on the pallet with the food, which was as always outstanding quality and excellent service all round a great child free date night! Thank you Tamatanga!
C. S.
Excellent service from start to finish, food is well presented.
O. E.

Wow. Pretty great food. Great pricing and delicious menu. HAPPY HOUR IS 12-7PM!! the cocktails are cheap and delicious so can't complain.
R. M.
Best Indian restaurant in east midlands 👍🏻, you have to try the tamatanga fries 😋
A. K.
Food was good, very tasty. I little bit more improvement from staff and food service and you can have 5 stars!
Staff all over the place, ( lot' s of staff but not organized, missed food or wrong table food, staff guessing not asking)Food from the same order came apart, paid full price for kids sundae when they did not had and any toppings and lady forgot about the sauce, so basically my kiddo get just ice cream ). Long wait to pay.
V. “. M.
Excellent food, drinks, service and prices.
A. K.
Decent Indian food, no wow factor. The wait was a bit more than communicated and service was a bit slow as well.
G. D.
Excellent service, just popped in for a light lunch so had a chicken wrap which came with fries I was well full didn't need anything else for the rest of the day 😋.
M.
The food here is delicious, the portion sizes are more than generous and the staff are absolutely lovely - absolutely recommend this place.

Cracking food, really fresh, full of flavour.Love it.
R. S.
Quick service, tasty food, and fairly priced. Worth a visit! 👍

Went to Tanatanga Nottingham to have dinner when I was visiting my brothers’s family. The place was big and had very good vibe. As an oriental family we knew our Asian food very well but the food in Tanstanga didn’t disappoint at all. We had different varieties from starters to main courses to cocktails and they were all very well done and delicious. Extra point was to all the staffs coz they were all friendly and very professional.
D. R.
Although the Tikka Masala didn't taste as you may typically expect, it was absolutely delicious and you could tell taste that it was fresh!
Friendly and attentive staff with great value for money deals in the day time.
Y. P.
it was ok not amazing
P. G.
Been a while since we last visited and the change of decor is a refreshing one. The food is outstanding as is the service so polite and have I mentioned the food 😋 .Definitely a revisit
C. Z.
Fast food prepared, kind staff service, very tasty 😋 will hi again, recommend

Decent fresh food. The tandoori paneer, and salmon is among the best I've tried.

Hi went here for a works Xmas night out.
The staff were great and very friendly and accommodating. I think she was the manager as she wore a black blouse and was tall and slim. She was great and the service was fantastic. As one of our guests was late so we ordered for her and the manager noticed she hadn't arrived so offered to take her food back to the kitchen to keep her food warm.
They also have a day time offer where you can get a drink a meal and rice or nan for £9.99. So a great bargain.
C. L.
Never had a bad meal in here. Fast service. Always delicious food. Comfortable surroundings. Can be quite dark and the menu difficult to see. I usually get my phone torch out! Must look a right wally! Prices are reasonable too. They also do a delivery service although I have never tried it. Recommended
R. D.
Get the tamatanga thali, pricey £18.95 but worth it
N.
Amazing rustic Indian food. Little bit on the expensive side compared to the competitors. Would normally order from here. Went today (date of writing) and the food was amazing but the glasses the tap water arrived with had lipstick stains all over them and the water wasn't cold considering its summer, this made us not drink the tap water. However the food was excellent but you lose a star from me due to the hygiene of the glasses.

Great atmosphere, amazing food and fab staff

Loved this place. We were in Nottingham for a gig at Rock city and as we had time decided to get a bite to eat. Came upon this place by accident and decided to give it a go and I'm pleased we did! The food and the atmosphere was fantastic. One of our party was a vegetarian and I'm pleased to say there was plenty of options for them as well. The staff were all really nice and made us feel really welcome. The price was also very reasonable for the great quality fare. So for quality food, a great atmosphere and wonderful staff, give it a go. Highly recommended
K. F.
A lovely curry house. Loads of vegetarian options and lots of different options to the standard Curry's. The food here is amazing. All the dishes tasted great and with fresh flavours. They have sit in and takeaway option. The takeaway is really good as well which is packed in excellent foil containers. I would highly recommend
C. S.
Amazing customer service served by Antonia.
I had somewhere to be and they were able to serve me very quick. The food and drink I had was delicious.
Would definitely recommend.
S. F.
Lovely little Indian restaurant, lovely staff, lovely food.... I'd go there again if I'm ever craving curry :)
A. M.
Can't fault the place, such a great environment. Happy staff, great choice of food and good taste. Always love it here.
G. L.
Very good food and brilliant service. Beth from the Nottingham branch was so lovely and very polite. Will definitely come again!!!
S. W.
My friends and I,couple of weeks ago went for an experience which we were granted... I absolutely loved the food there, the authenticity of the Asian food was a key element in the food.
We were given sufficient tile to order and not rushed when we finished our meal which led us(group of friends) to order a round of cocktails.
The service was great,we were served by a lovely Samantha and Rosa,I believe, Keep it up girls x
Definitely recommend the tama thali and pork chops.
10/10!☺️
J. S. J.
Can't fault the food, it has unique taste and style. Cater for vegetarians and vegans. Service is really good, can be a bit too quick. Price is great also. It's just missing the wow factor for a 5 star review.
v. g.
Very clean nice staff and the food was excellent
T. H. F.
Service was fast and friendly. The food is always so nice. My family enjoyed eating here. Thank you
H. A. H.
Definitely visiting it again♥️
d. c.
The quality of food is great . Definately 5 stars for food quality
m. p.
Surprised how good, tikka lamb cutlets were amazing
R. V.
Good variety of Indian food, but expensive
J. K.
Great Indian food, nice vibe, friendly staff, quick service and reasonable prices. Well deserved 5 stars! The naan is super fluffy. Try the eggplant curry - it’s amazing! They have an extra menu for vegans and a great variety of vegetarian dishes (obviously).
I. K.
Excellent food, excellent service.
A. R.
Lovely selection of food, very tasty and affordable. There are nice discounts with the cinema so definitely worth checking out. The interior is inviting as the ceiling is very high so it all feels very spacious. The staff is friendly. There is also an option to take away the food. Would recommend.
s.
Great food and service as per usual, new decor and staff. Tama grill , and punjab butter chicken was delicious.
B. S.
Amazing food! Fantastic atmosphere at a really reasonable price! Staff went out of their way to make us feel safe, but also to be as normal as possible. Lovely to eat somewhere and not be wierded by Covid....
T. M.
A modern take on the standard curry house. Loads of vegetarian options and lots of different options to the standard Curry's. All the dishes tasted great and with fresh flavours. Had a number of takeaways too and they were also great.
K. W.
We have been visiting Tamatanga several times a year since they opened so can speak from considerable experience.
In short, we think it is brilliant. One of the most remarkable things is it's consistency, we have never had a bad experience in the ten or so years we have been going.
I cannot say the same about any other restaurant.
The menu is varied and changes regularly but the favourites don't go anywhere, I think over the years we have tried pretty much everything and it is all great.
Our favourite place to eat by far and I can't see that changing if they keep providing quality experiences.
We have eaten at far more expensive Indian restaurants and the quality has been no better than Tamatanga. That means, Tamatanga relaxed bistro style wins out.
Top marks from us. Highly recommended.
R. F.
Very nice lunch, though a little on the pricey side. Service was fine and the food was delicious, was also pleased that we were allowed to take home our leftovers as the naan breads were just too filling to eat while we were there.
J.
Keralan lamb curry was amazing. Service and facilities were great. Would definitely eat here again.
H. T.
Good portions and great choice.
G. H.
Tasty and exquisite food with good meal deals, a large range of flavours, options, and meats available. Drinks however are very expensive and I would recommend even with soft drinks to order elsewhere. The dishes are a mixture of spicy and mild, creamy and substantial and available to fit most tastes and wallets.
A. T.
Nice atmosphere, delicious food, good vegetarian range, friendly staff.
R. N.
This place never disappoints! My love for Tamatanga started when I was a student at UoN - to this day, if I am ever in Nottingham, this is a must visit for a meal! Staff are great, helpful and friendly. Ambience is stunning. Food, can't get better than this! Keep up the good work!!!
T. L.
Went on a Saturday evening and was quite busy. Shared a platter with 4 vegetarian curry dishes and 1 chosen dish. The vegetarian dishes are changed all the time so you can always try something new.
Definitely one of the best curries I've had - its different to normal curries which was interesting. Good presentation, very tasty and filling. Service is very good and the price was reasonable.
Definitely worth a try if you fancy something different!
H. M.
Great service, staff and professional, There is a good choice of dishes, also gluten free options available. The decor is really vibrant and has a nice atmosphere. I had a group of 8 people and did not book in pre to visit and they seated me down very very quickly at a very busy time I did not have to wait long for my meal and it tasted great.
D. W.
Good choice on the menu,a little more expensive than it once was, but still super tasty.
Great choice for veggies and teetotalers. Suitable for kids, with crayons and a draws paper provided.
Lovely atmosphere and plenty of space, you'll never bump elbows.
tip, get some tama chips, they are yummy.
K. D.
So so good! Used to come here at uni, been living in US for past couple of years and been craving good Indian food, finally had my fix 💗 awesome service, clean and friendly environment. 10/10 recommend
A. S.
Wonderful selection of Indian dishes, optimally cooked. Thali is a good choice if one wants to try a range of Indian delicacies. Really liked the spices, very authentic. Nice atmosphere and good service too. Highly recommend it.
W. S.
Fantastic food, portion sizes and service. Staff have been really nice here especially today's visit, some of the best service I've had anywhere.
The meal was absolutely enjoyable, cooked perfectly like the other times and just as tasty. Staff were quick to respond and very helpful and friendly.
The restaurant was clean, seating was decent and lovely atmosphere too.
Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and highly recommend it, thanks so much! I also recommend the naans, tamatanga chips (a truly unique delicacy of theirs), bang bang chicken and the tandoori chicken too. (The tandoori chicken comes with daal too just as a heads up.)
Will gladly visit as many more times as possible, thanks again!
N. R.
Amazing food!
C. S.
Brilliant food, very tasty. Good variety of beers and very good service 😁
I. J.
The food was fair to good but the overall impression was that the restaurant was doing us a favour by selling it to us. This was not the staff, it was the policies set out on the mat menu, such as meals are served individually and a partner's meal may not come at the same time. This it seems to me is against all of the traditions of eating out together.
The place was noisy and I felt somehow missed the point.
M. A. (.
Not really the typical authentic Indian cuisine as it has been modified to better suit the taste buds of the British people. The "Thali" dish (which in India includes rice, roti, 6+ curries and 2+ dry side dishes) was really small in quantity with less variety of side dishes. Overall a good experience as the staff was really friendly and provided good service.
A. H.
Really good food. Very very tasty. Everyone loved their meals. If I could say anything negative it would be the seating isn't the most comfortable for sustained periods. But I am clutching at straws. They also have straws.
V. N.
Good hospitality.
Authentic taste.
Quick service.
Only down side was that the place could become noisy. One of the staff responsible for drinks counter was just dumping drink bottles adding to the whole noise.
S. B. N. T. S.
Good value
£11 for a Meal and Soft Drink before 4pm
P. A.
A solid Town centre curry restaurant. Great service speed as well as takeaway options which well suits people on the move.
If you are in no rush the dining experience suffers 'slightly' with the high speed high volume shared canteen style tables. The menu has less variation and depth than other Nottingham choices
L. R.
Always have a great experience when eating here. Fast and friendly service. The food is amazing! Good deals on cocktails as well if you go before 7pm. My favourite Indian restaurant!
A. R.
Food is amazing!! Staff are really attentive and can't do enough for you. They have a great value deal on before 6pm. Definitely be going again!
h. s.
A range of dishes to choose from, reasonably priced food and staff are very friendly and attentive. Often don't need to book before hand as tables are available. Desserts are limited however. But nice atmosphere.
A. E.
Nice, slick curry restaurant with delicious thali dishes (ideal for me as I'm rubbish at choosing!)
T.
Great food for good prices, in the week, before 6 there is a deal for a main and a drink for £9.85, although I would recommend not going for the deal, but rather getting the Tama feast, which includes a variety of the dishes offered by Tamatanga, for just over £16. Would highly recommend this to someone wanting to try something different like myself, or someone who likes Indian cuisine.
Y. A.
Very nice place. Good service and friendly staff. Been there couple of times and tried different dishes they were all very nice. Always leaving happy and it’s worth the money you pay.
O. T.
I go to this restaurant regularly and have done ever since it opened. It's extremely good value for the variety on the menu and taste of the food. Just the right balance of surroundings, quality food and price.
A. B.
Really good food, I had the lamb tikka small bites which were heavenly. We also had the chicken wrap which was stuffed full of chicken and delicious. Spiced chips were great. It is generally all a bit spicy, so recommend a mango lassi to go with the food.
V. R.
Great food and service especially Anna. Thank you for lovely lunch.
W. B.
I actually went on Boxing Day, the food was good as usual Cheesy nans were excellent. However, the service was disappointing, less attention; wasn't offered a drink, didn't question if we wanted poppadum's, server was more focused on different table, however did tip as I know boxing day is a busy day, so a benefit of doubt, will be back.
E.
Good, tasty Indian food served quickly. Its not expensive and is perfect for a pre theatre meal.
Those that may be fussy may feel it feels a little like a chain restaurant but its in the Corner House in the centre of town...I would still be happy eating there
s. f.
[holiao]
1) Overall - located at Nottingham, UK, clean environment but could be noisy during peak hours, Indian cuisine, big portion, value for money, kind service from tamatanga
2) chicken tikka masala was so creamy and delicious, a must order when you visit tamatanga and not to forget to order their naan bread too!
3) Tarka Daal chicken curry was another dish that come with full of flavours, it got into your mouth and keeps giving you surprises
M. A.
Staff were all friendly, polite and knew the menu! Food was well presented perfectly hot and very good spice levels too. I would say Tamatanga caters more for the Western tailored taste rather than traditional Eastern taste. The meat, chicken and lentil curries were delicious and i couldn't help but eat way too much. I was disappointed in the vegetable curry I had and won't recommend. Rice and naan were delicious too. I would recommend here with out a doubt.
S. P.
It took over half an hour for our food to arrive - for 2 people. It wasn't warm. Manager said the only thing he could was send it back and get a fresh one but couldn't offer a discount. We went prepared to wait another half hour. No apology.
Another staff member asked if everything was OK. Explained everything to her and she asked me to write it down to pass on. At least she was more sympathetic and apologised for the poor service.
f. a.
The price too high and the outcome normal taste or substandard taste. Apart from that too much concern for fulfilling COVID-19 formalities it is also good to be concerned for taste.
S. P.
Went for lunch meal deal 9.95 with drink.
very good value excellent potion size When I found it a little to spicey they changed my meal and offered alternative
Next time I will mention it when ordering so I can get advice .
Lots of Vegan and gluten free choices
Lovly setting and helpful staff .
D. A. S.
Really good food, and their amaretto colada is an amazing drink!
S. J.
Great food and perfect ambience, be it day or night. Their chats are the best and the drinks are the right break you need whilst on a shopping spree in Nottingham. Do go for the amritsari fish fry!!!
G. H.
Nice food and reasonably price, friendly staff and it has a very clean feel.
C. S.
Very nicely and friendly personal, good food, service al a carte and fetback permanently of the tables!
Thank you Tamatanga team, see you soon!
P. W.
Fabulous place. Delicious food, lovely staff, beautiful decor, excellent value for money.
k. j.
The reason it's not a five star is because they have changed the deal on the menu and I feel it was advertised so went expecting the midday deal to be told they have changed the days that they so it on. So abit disappointed but the food is always very nice and fresh and although now I will choose my days wisely for going I still love the food from here. Even started trying more things in the menu the chicken dishes always ever so taste and so was the chops. Tamatanga never lets your pallet down.
C. D.
Love this place, everytime I go I am pleased with the food and how lovely it tastes, good quality for money. Great service by staff also. One of my fave places to eat.
D. R.
One of the good restaurant within Nottingham city area. You would love to go there again n again. Try their Tamatanga chips, its yummmm!!! Being vegetarian, we tried most of their dishes. We liked Saag Panner (Cottage cheese) the most. Its slightly higher on price and sometimes you need to wait a bit more to get your order on table.
A. M.
Amazing.. Very nice staff.. Delicious food.. Highly recommended
P. G.
Being India we ordered indian authentic food Biryani. It was tasteless. We also ordered tamatang thali. It was ok. Most of dishes were with less salt. Only dish we liked was garlic chicken. Ambience is ok, not that great. Not worth the money.
K. C.
Good authentic Indian food, not over priced and delicious. Never had a disappointing meal here. Friendly service. Highly recommend it!
M. M.
Great value and great taste, if you like Indian food, you will not be disappointed. The Peshwari nan breads are probably the best I have tasted worldwide, including India
J. W.
The food was of impeccable quality and extremely tasty. Sadly, we were let down by the table service, in particular an employee called Ollie. Firstly, we felt rushed to order before even getting our coats off. After we all had made our order, one member of the group mentioned that he had a nut allergy, just making sure there would be no nuts included in his meal. We felt that this employee embarrassed us and acted rude, telling my friend, "ugh, you should have told me before", before panicking about my friends meal, showing that he was obviously agitated. We don't think this was acceptable behaviour because my friend really wasn't doing anything wrong and was made look silly for no reason. Also, we had to ask for things several times, such as water, before being served. Again, would recommend the food but not the service.
M. S.
Great food with good flavours
S. P.
Lovely Indian food, really enjoyed it
S. “. B.
Not sure this place gets the credit it deserves. Tamatanga is great food and good service. Menu is varied and its just a bit different to the regular curry houses with light and flavoursome dishes which are well prepared and beautifully served. Well worth finding (it's not hard to find)!
P. B.
Great service, lovely quality food as usual. Have been going here for years and it is filling with great portions and flavoursome food
M. P.
Normally love this place, but this evening felt like in a cattle market starters and mains together, mmmm.wasnt even that busy
Waitress disappointing and unhelpful
Tamatanga chips no longer spicy
Please don't become a mc Donald's of the
urban Indian food.
Don't be rush rush be lush lush
s. s.
Always good food and excellent service.
m. r.
Good place. Tasty Indian food.. less spicy compared to the actual Indian tastes which would suit most of them in the UK. Quick service and lovely atmosphere..
S. W.
Really delicious food, would recommend the chaat a thousand times over. Bit difficult to book a table after 5.30pm though as the website won't let you. All that said, definitely worth the wait and will be going back soon
c. w.
Food ans service was superb 👌
M. T.
Great food, very well priced and friendly staff very helpful
K. L.
Tamatanga although you get 3 stars, before i start my review I'm gonna say overall you were not bad and hopefully i will try you again to see if you have improved since last i came.
Too begin with tamatanga is in the heart of the city centre amongst the GREAT cornerhouse home to cineworld and the lost city. As apposed to a restaurant i would call it more of a cafe on the grande side. great for a midday lunch/dinner. I believe i had the chicken wrap and it was great at first bite but then bites later it was your basic wrap, 3/5 worthy (don't get me wrong it tasted nice but basic). it needed umph which it did not have. My friends on the other hand had curries and there little rice dishes and they loved it, kinda made me envy them :). But customer service was great and the waitress who served us fab. So all in all quite good just hope tamatanga reads this and ensures that there other non curry dishes meet the same excellent, lip licking standards that my friends received with there curries.
D.
Best curries in town. Great service and advice. I regularly come here at least once a month. Get the garlic chilli chicken, if you like heat you won't be disappointed.
P. M.
One of the best places to eat in Nottingham! The food is absolutely exceptional here. Very fresh, colourful and authentically-tasty! If your in Nottingham you must try Tamatanga. The staff are really friendly and ensure you have a pleasent experience each and every time.
G. K.
Gorgeous food. Great customer service.
Z. K.
Food was tasty, friendly staff, and nice, pretty setting.
S. B.
Food & atmosphere was great 😊👍
R. J.
A good place to come and have food with family, especially if you are hailing from Asian or indian origin. Though not the best the food is really good which will give you home like feeling. It's in a bit expensive side if that matters
A. H.
What a beautiful hot meal with gorgeous chilled cocktails & smooth fresh milkshakes.. With lovely polite shaff on hand straight away.! So highly recommended guy's.!
P. S.
Very nice meal, expensive drinks and limited selection, wouldn't change lamb order to chichen, with no explanation. Felt like more like a pub or fast food experience rather than restaurant. Few little problems, like tiny chutney tray dips, but very tasty main mean.
l. a.
My favourite Indian restaurant in Nottingham. The food is satisfying and flavourful. The staffs are also very friendly and the price is reasonable for students.
M. J.
Spoke with them on phone, really polite guy that gave me straight answer, then ordered and food was prepared extremely fast and what is the most important it was delicious and portions are big!! :)
C. K.
Visited Tamatange on a Tuesday lunch time around 2pm. Decided to have the lunch buffet menu which was a curry and a nann or rice for 6.95. Environment was nice and felt like I was in India without the loudness and poverty. Lol. Price wise was real good value for money and if you go you must have the chips, they have spices in them and chilly flakes. They are amazing!
A. R.
My wife, daughter (3) and I go here regularly. It's great. Service is usually fast, staff are always friendly, it's spotlessly clean and the food is great.
N. A.
Excellent urban Indian food, a tad expensive but worth the spend. Great deals on cocktails. Veggie heaven is a must try.
A. L.
Great food and large tables available for bigger groups. Gets very busy just before 6 because of there offer, but still a good price after the offer and a lot quieter.
C. L.
The food was moderately priced and the atmosphere and staff were on point also.
s. c.
Absolutely love the place. .. in all these years the food has had a reliable consistent taste and quality. Great value for money too.
m. c.
Overall the food is good. Efficient friendly staff. The pickles starter needs lime pickle (classic) and slightly larger portions of the dips.
A. M.
Best authentic Indian food ao far in UK. Value for money. Very well designed menu and combos. Service is great too.
C. H. C.
Really good Indian food. The Thali is a great set that gives you a range of curries. A bit pricey but other than that no complaints!
N. T.
Delicious food - the Thali, what an amazing meal that was. Go hungry. Well situated for city centre attractions and easy access to tram / bus routes.
M. M.
brilliant smiling and helpful staff and tasty dishes.
Portions are small though, for a hungry person, you would need at least 2 full meals to feel satisfied
G. D.
Im pretty sure this is owned by the Wagamama group, but for Indian food. I loved it. The platter for one is great value. Lots of variety and flavour served in metal bowls. Delicious!
J. T.
I love tamatanga. The food the service. The food. Seriously, I love the way they cook fresh beautiful food. Always enjoy. Mainly go at lunch. I have been at night once the atmosphere was wonderful.
K. R.
Excellent service and quality of food yet again. We came all the way from Hull to enjoy the food and will most certainly be back in the future. Lamb Rogan Josh - delicious!
Julie- Hull, East Yorkshire
A. W.
Amazing. Great Food, Great Service, Friendly Stuff.
H. R.
Been here many times over the years. Always great food and good service. The lunchtime deal is excellent value as well.
P. Y.
Nice 241 cocktails, inside is pretty!
S. Q.
Food is still great here with a new decor that is so Instagrammable 👌
r. k.
Loved the food...
T.
Amazing food and great service! Huge fan of the Prawn Nilgiri - Cannot get enough of it. Highly recommended.
I. M.
So tasty and fresh. Best Indian I've had, more authentic that your usual local Indian takeaway. Highly recommended!
P. d. W.
Good food, good service, and if you're lucky, good company. Not the place to demonstrate your parkour skills, especially on a full stomach. I promise not to do it again.
B.
Amazing food!! Had the thali and lassi and both were 10/10. Would highly recommend... The staff were very attentive and polite.
H. P.
The food here is great especially the biriyanis and naan varities. It is great for British people who want to have Indian foods since the food here will not be very spicy and also, it will have Indian taste.
P. H.
The BEST Indian food (except for Memsaab) in Nottingham! Must try the Paneer Makhni, the Thali is a great way to try a few different authentic curries in one meal. Fast service and very reasonably priced!
a. g.
Good Indian food at reasonable price...
A. M.
Never had a bad meal here, never finished one either. Prices are good, service is quick, portions are big and the flavours are fantastic.
D. S.
That chilli cheese naan is the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life
R. J.
My wife and I came here for the first time today, and we really enjoyed it .
The staff were really friendly and welcoming, the food was great and the whole atmosphere was just perfect. We would recommend tamatanga to anyone and we will definitely be back again ..
R. C.
Really nice food with a fast and friendly staff, is a little pricey for what you get,but not unreasonable.
Would definitely recommend, as well as come again.
J. K.
Eaten here many times and will be going there again and again. Great tasting food every time. Never post reviews but was compelled to leave them one.
H. T.
Serving food in big stainless steel thali & bowls doesn't means that food is Indian. It should have taste. We ordered tamatanga thali which seems to be perfect Indian thali as per them. Completely disappointed. Will never refer to any one.
C. I.
Loved the food and atmosphere. Some lovely members of staff.
Unfortunately chairs not the most comfortable.
L. W.
Food was nice came out fast. Only problem was we was being rushed by staff not asked if want anything else just do you want bill felt like rushed
S. B.
Great tasting food in a chilled atmosphere. Fast service and decent value for money. Bottled beer prices are a bit daft but everything else spot on.
D. M.
Would've had 5 stars but they tried to make us pay for the poppadoms that we ordered which never came. (good food though)
S. A.
Delicious food with good portion sizes all fresh and with fantastic service. Will be going again.
A. H.
The food and decor is amazing. Worth the visit
A.
Food is really good if a little dear. Good service, staff were friendly
A. A.
Spent my 2nd and 3rd year of uni having lunch here pretty much 5 times a week, every week. It's soo good I was obsessed by it and whenever I'm in Notts, it's one of the first places I revisit. And last time was with my wife whose as much a fan of tamatanga as I am. Look forward to going back there again, hopefully sooner rather than later. And it would just be a dream for tamatanga to open up in a place near me. That's anywhere in Bahrain.
K. P.
Best curry I've ever had
K. F.
Great restaurant despite it always being busy. Friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is small portion and prices gone up
H. L.
The food was good. But disappointed that my naan bread didn’t arrive. They charged us for it no apologizes.
T. B.
Great food and great service
A. F.
Food was excellent and incredibly tasty
T. L.
The wagamamas of curry! great food always fresh and staff are friendly, food isn't that spicy but maybe its because i like my heat! great decor and location is spot on
A.
Nice place to order/dine in indian food. Good prices great taste
P. O.
A group of us went along here before the comedy club. Was better than your usual late night curry. Beer could be cheaper. Curry bowls are brilliant.
M. C.
One of our favourites - wife is vegan and is a big fan. Consistent service and food quality. Recommended.
c.
Really nice food. Nice atmosphere. Not a bad price for what you get.
A. T.
Tamatangas vegan menu is wonderful I really enjoyed the saga a loo it was wonderful will definitely go back again to sample some of the other vegan dishes thank you for making vegans welcome..
S. L.
The lamb (railway cabin ) was amazing , good portion or the curry, however the rice portion was a bit on the small side.
M.
Amazing food, amazing service. A must visit 😁
E. T.
Excellent service and absolutely amazing food
P. K.
Great ambience delicious food
L. E. C.
Lovely food, staff are friendly, beautiful interior
E. R.
Really wholesome food at a reasonable price, beyond typical Indian food which was a lovely change! Quick service too!!
J. J.
Excellent food and service. Tried the new cocktail which was very refreshing. Tasnia R who served was also lovely and friednly. :-)
J. M. J.
Went for the day deal menu today which had really good selection. Excellent food as always and good service.
J. M.
Decent service ,shame the naan breads were undercooked
J. S.
Always a mega meal there. Railway cabin lamb highly recommended. The chilli cheese naans are to die for too! Tell them ya uncle strou sent ya!
D. E.
I love going to tamatanga, the food is always great here and I can't recommend the thali dish enough. Staff are always helpful and friendly, it's a relaxed casual place, not cheap but well worth it
W. R. (.
Created by the same people behind wagamama, this place is lovely. The currys are fresh tasting, really well priced and the service is really quick and friendly.
K. F.
Great Indian to eat in or to take away. A bit expensive but worth it. Does the best naans
B.
Excellent as always, have been using the restaurant since it opened in 2009
A. P.
This is an awesome place with great food and great people. First time here but definitely not my last.
A. A.
Great food and quick service
J. B.
Good authentic Indian food in a modern relaxed atmosphere. Excellent value for money too. They do take outs as well.
Y. M.
The food is great and consistent. I would say that they recently hiked up their prices and would now only go there on special occasions.
A. F.
Food is always great and cooked ro a high standard. They offer a fab deal before 6pm during weekdays. I would definitely recommend this!
S.
Great Indian food with British presentation. U can really get spicy food options as well. Great ambience for friends and family
T. S.
Didn't love the food, it was either quite bland or overly spiced (mostly bland) - The atmosphere was good however and the service was very good. The lassi was good too, quite disappointed in the food.
N. T.
Great place. Busy but efficient. Great food. Prices gone up a fair bit since I went last year
S. L.
Food is lovely but service is poor. Took a while to get seated and then felt rushed off.
G. B.
I just had a great meal at this amazing restaurant. Great Friday, I will be back. The best food in the city centre
L. T. P.
Great way to dine
Easy to order
Great choice, so dive in
Friendly staff altogether good experience
C. S.
Excellent Thali. Good service. Willing to make veggie curries hot on request (and it was). We were a large group but service was still good.
Z. H.
Food was OK but could do with having more heat/chilli. Pompadoms came with only sweet sauces and no pickle.
M. W.
My hubby and I eat here at least once a month. We've never been disappointed with any aspect of our visits. We recommend Tamamtanga to everyone!
d. B.
The starts came at the same time at main course, and the chicken of the main dish was over cooked and just fell apart, which was a shame as the taste of grandpas curry was good.
e.
Food good, generous portions. Service average e.g brought bill before we asked and before we'd ordered dessert
C. R.
Food was nice, portion size was a little small for myself but the staff are fantastic 5 stars for the staff.
N. B.
Great prices for the amount of food you get and so tasty! First time we went with a medium party (6) and felt well accommodated
E. B.
Good food. Reasonable service, if a little eager to clear up and turn over even withplenty of clear tables.
G. J.
We come here every month. Delicious food, very reasonably priced with excellent service. What more could you want?
