Fantastic food and an even better atmosphere. What a fantastic, unexpected experience. The sushi platter was perfectly balanced and tasty, but the pork skewers were stand out. If you want that holiday feeling then definitely sit outside and order a cocktail or four! If I had a single gripe, it would be that there was some miscommunication between the outdoor restaurant/bar and the indoors which made it a tad awkward at times.

I love this place! The sushi is amazing. I had the vegetarian option and it was a work of art! The outdoor seating area is lovely and I’ve heard since the summer part of it is now covered which is great for outdoor dining They were just installing the pods however, at £350 minimum spend I sadly won’t be sitting in these

The whole experience at this gorgeous restaurant was incredible from start to finish!! The staff were fantastic and the food was absolutely sensational. The dessert was so good, I ordered it again!! Will definitely be going back!! I want to give a very special thank you to Head Chef Hira Thakur who went above and beyond, with all our dietary requirements and ensuring my Mum’s birthday surprise was a huge success!

I just don’t know where to begin! The service, food, and decor is like nothing you’d expect from a pub/restaurant in a quiet part of the country! After it’s refurbishment and new management, it’s now my favourite place to eat in Nottinghamshire! The chefs there have brought amazing dining experience to Caythorpe with a modern yet relaxed twist. It’s not pretentious at all and really hits the mark! Five stars!

Another visit The Old Vol to try their New menu. The food just keeps getting better everytime. They do a 3 course set menu. But we decided to have their A la carte. Starters Inside out chicken wings Lobster Tortellini Mains Pan fried cod Monkfish Tikka masala Desserts Pannacotta Chocolate Highly recommended with some of Nottingham's very talented chefs👨‍🍳👨‍🍳 If you find this useful thumbs up thanks

Just been to the Halloween event this evening that was nothing short of amazing. £10 for pizza candy floss sweets and a night of entertainment. Brilliant guys

Your bar staff and waitresses are amazing. The Lunch was incredible and the facilities to have drinks in the garden are phenomenal. We are all chilling next to a warm fire listening some chilled music. This place is perfect and its also amazing for children. Spot on guys. Well done for your high standards and hard work including managers. The service is 5 Star.

Great food and service. Beautiful garden and amazing play area for kids. Just be aware tables can be booked and it's not obvious that they aren't available. Good selection of wines and beers.
