Enjoyed the food there, tge food was really tasty and delicious. I was disappointed with the jasmine flower tea and ginger -lemongrass one. These were in fact tasteless. We pointed this to the waitress but we had no reaction other than "sorry to hear that". Staff were pleasant, helpful, offered advise about the choice of dishes.

Always a lovely experience eating at wagamama. Prices are a tad too high but can't be too upset when you have amazing vegan options that are very flavorful paired with a great atmosphere and friendly service. PS. Banana katsu is the best dessert I have ever had in my life.

Brilliant! Very large vegan menu for ALL sections (mains, sides, etc). It is a little more pricey than average restaurants on the high street, but very good quality. Staff are also absolutely wonderful!

First time trying here and my partner an me really enjoyed it, waited 15 minutes prior to getting a table but the weather was not so bad tried a few dishes and will definitely be back. We like the fact that we could pay at the table by using the QR code on our menu with the table number and servers name :) Thank you to Dan for our table service he was a lovely guy and was nice to have a chat and a laugh with him. Considering this place was literally full, and there a queue outside, I was particularly impressed by the service. Our waiter, Kieran, was great - I've had worse service at high end restaurants with fewer customers to deal with, so he deserves praise. Venue/interior is okay, but nothing special, as you might expect from a chain. Food was great, and prepared reasonably quickly but for a slight delay with one of the mains.

Delicious food and calories printed on menu which focused the mind. Yes they forgot to make wife's dish but gave her something completely different to keep her busy while hers came. By the time it did come ww were finished and she didn't eat it as didn't like it!! (If I wasn't trying to lose weight I would have scoffed that too as it was delicious). These things happen, it's how they dealt with it that impressed me. Considering the costs these days very reasonably priced. I went through a phase of hating this place and often refused to go but after yesterday one of my go to places I think.

Food was very average 1 tea stained egg looked just normal boiled egg 2 my ramen dish was pretty tasteless so I have to add lots of soy sauce and chilli oil as u can see on picture. my 2nd dish pad Thai it was ok nothing special and I personally won’t order again it was little to sweet for me ( I like my sweet when I got to desert shop not in my main course ) only thing I enjoyed was kimchi so I ordered extra portion 3 star coz of quality service very very helpful friendly staff kitchen and front everyone was so nice and very clean nice looking place.

Wagammas is popular for a reason. The service is quick and the food is nice. The Nottingham one is especially nice as there are tables by the windows where you can watch the world go by. The staff are friendly and helpful but they do that classic thing of asking how the food is when you've just stuffed your cheeks like a hamster. Had to try and say 'very good thank you' through a mouth filled with katsu curry. Sides are quite pricy for what they are but the mains are good value so choose wisely. This review is pretty pointless as everyone knows what to expect from wagammas.

First time visiting, very crowded but got us seated quickly. Staff were attentive and we ordered soon enough, however the server forgot to ask if we had any allergies. So after we'd ordered, a manager had to come and take the whole order again as my mum has a nut allergy. As normal the food came out when it was ready, which was fine except the kitchen forgot about my wife's main. The rest of us had finished before hers came out. Aside from that the food was delicious, hot and fresh, authentic food. We tried a selection of sides and a different main each, all of which were tasty. They took my wife's main off the bill which was nice of them. Overall tasy and not too expensive, would go back again.

Have been to Wagamamas three times now in notts. Service is always perfect, food comes out very quick - different dishes come out at different times tho. And what can I saw it always tastes banging. Will say for people looking to go to Wagas, look at when it’s busy. I do see queues outside sometimes when walking past.

Food tasted very good, the duck donburi is my go to dish and the service was quick and friendly. Only small complaint was they were out of bao, we'd sat down about 2pm. Also I got a prawn gyoza with my duck ones. It didn't personally bother me but if it happened to someone with an allergy then it could be problematic.

First time visiting today, Very friendly staff showed us how it all works. Sat down choose our drinks and mains. Was asked if we wanted starters but in a nice non pushy way, We wasn't sure what to order and was told he will pick one at random on the house for us! Starters and mains came out the same time (even though we was warned they may come out separately). Food was delicious couldn't fault it at all! Asked if we wanted any desserts so we took a look at the menu, nothing really caught our eye so once again the waiter gave us a small free sample of the white chocolate and ginger cheesecake. Fantastic experience will be coming back again!

Food was gorgeous flavours but a lot of rice in the vegan option to bulk it out almost. It was a really cold day too and the restaurant didn't seem to feel any warmer than being outside so made dining a little uncomfortable. Absolutely brilliant love this place and have been twice. I think the restaurant needs an extension though as the last time we went we had to wait a while due to the popularity. The service from staff members is great, just remember to order everything at once as they bring it to you as it's cooked meaning sometimes your sides come before main and vice versa. The food is brimming with flavour and there's always something new to try if you're a bit more adventurous. 5 stars definitely worth the price

Really good food, nice staff, quick service and you can see the chefs cooking the food and they dont mess about. The ramen is very good for sharing and very nice. The restaurant is also nice inside. You use chopsticks to eat but you get the hang of it after 1-2 times using them but they also have forks and spoons if you want to use them. The spices are also good that you can choose to put on your food

As big chains go it's ok and this branch is really little or no different to any other; serving a fusion of far east Asian staple noodle, soup and rice based dishes you can find pretty much anywhere. But don't expect Kyoto or Busan authenticity. The menu is on line (if you want to check it out before you go) and the quality reliable. It's busy and service, when I went, was a tad slow and not all our main meals came at the same time. Bench and trellis tables offer canteen style seating so be prepared to share.

I really like going to Wagamama. I feel like they have a great vegan menu. But the past couple of times I've been in I have left feeling hungry as I feel like they have cut down on the portion sizes. Even my girlfriend was disappointed and she doesn't eat nowhere near as much as me. It's put me off quite a bit. I don't go out to eat and spend all that money and not feel satisfied afterwards.

We went during a quite time (around 4pm) so got a table quickly. Within an hour and a half the place began to fill up and the queue headed towards to door. This can be explained by the good food and excellent service. Good atmosphere as per any wagamamas I have been to. The staff were a little slow to get the bill, however this was not a problem as we were not in a rush to leave.

Delicious Asian fusion restaurant. Chain restaurants can sometimes be disappointing but Wagamama is an exception. Their menu is extensive and varied and everything feels quite fresh. The food was good, and it is was more child friendly than I imagined with colouring sets brought for the kids, who also enjoyed their noodle dishes. However their policy of just bringing food when it's ready meant most had finished before I got anything which is no way to run a kitchen for me.

I always feel it's a good amount of food to cost ratio. Some people don't like sitting at benches alongside others, but if you go slightly off 'food times', ie lunch and dinner hours, you often get more space to yourself. I've only ever had one issue in many visits over the last years, and that was one dish they forgot to add chicken. I mentioned this to the waiter and was shortly brought a bowl of chicken pieces to add to my meal. It was a quick no problem fix and no fuss. As with most restaurants, the waiters/waitresses have been happy, helpful and aware when trying to get their attention :)

However, customer service was amazing - from front of house, to being seated at our table, our waiter (although he wasn't attentive when we wanted to get the cheque, but that's a very minor point), and even the chef saying thanks on our way out. Won't let you book for table less than 6, won't let you use a toilet if you are not eating there, won't serve you a pint without meal either. First time at Wagamama today. The food was good which if I can, I would rate it 5 stars but due to the disappointing service I can only rate it at 3 star. To elaborate, we came in and being seen by staff members which were close by, we didn’t received no greetings which made us felt ignored until someone actually said something. After a few minutes we got seated, chose our food, ordered and ate. Then the person serving us, which is the same person who saw us initially and ignored us, asked if everything was alright and we did say yes as we were enjoying the food and we said if we can get a bottle of water which she replied asking what size and we responded with the desired size of the drink. After a while, we finished our food and still no water, she came arund our tabel quite a few times to do something but never received our bottle of water. We ended up just paying and just leave the issue behind. We observed that other staff were much more interactive with the customers that they served, perhaps ours was having a bad day.

I had expected the ramen to be quite nice, I had the shirodashi ramen, but the noodles tasted quite bland. I had a free green tea and I ordered one of the healthy green juices which donated money to some kind of good cause. They were both very nice. A very good introduction to Japanese style food. The more traditional favourites of gyoza dumplings, yakitori, soba & udon noodles, katsu and ramen have been joined by more familiar Asian favourites of Thai curries and pad thai. While well done, their addition doesn't add to the menu, in fact may distract from the stars. Delicious raw juices, free green tea (choice of Japanese out Chinese!), great Japanese beer, decent hot saki, even wine & spirits for those that partake. Not the cheapest place to eat, but so much better than fast food. A good place to bring young-uns, with a good kids menu that doesn't patronise with the stereotypical fish fingers, sausages, chicken nuggets and chips. Hurrah! Thankfully dishes are smaller servings of the regular menu and priced appropriately. Don't expect a typical structured service of starter, main and pud. Food comes as it's ready. Seating is mainly on shared benches, so mind your manners and don't elbow your neighbour (something I've not experienced in the 18yrs I've eaten at various Waggi's). But there are breakfast-bar style areas to eat at if you're not feeling as sociable 😉 If you've not been before, the staff are happy to walk you through how service works and what the food is like. Speaking of staff, this branch has generally got a good staff of students. Go to Waggi's at least once in your life. Then go again, cause you probably won't be able to help yourself.
