C. G.Nice restaurant. Had to wait for my seabass. Chips went cold! Everybody else on the table was halfway through their food before mine arrived. Staff were apologetic and offered me another beer (complimentary). However, when the Bill came the beer was on it!

Z. W.Some food was nice and it was a clean environment. There are lots of vegan options here, including tasty vegan meatballs. However, my pizza was too oily and I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have. Service could also be a bit more welcoming. But overall, okay.

And the coffee was no longer available after 9pm, which for an Italian restaurant is very bizarre. But all that does not compare to how good the food and hospitality was.

Went with my partner for a last minute meal out, saw menu outside and thought we give it a try, cosy atmosphere and even though kitchen had closed the chef agreed to stay and cook a meal for us, I ordered the 10oz steak rare and it was just 😋😋 soooo good tasty and melted in my mouth perfectly, partner had the steak sandwich and said it was beautiful food, supper accomodating and staff were so nice and friendly!!

N. M.Very good eatery right in the middle of Nottingham. Nice wide range of Italian food including pizzas pasta and salads. The atmosphere is very nice, with a now very common open kitchen and pizza oven. Decor suits the building complements the whole experience. I would recommend this place for casual dining or something quick. Service is extremely friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. The bill was also very reasonable as there are numerous discount codes online. I would definitely recommend this place as a nice changes from chains such as Pizza Express or ASK.

M.Fantastic food and service. Everything was clean. The steak on the Philly steak sandwich was tender and well cooked, one of the best steak sandwiches I've had.
And the calzone was huge, tasty and loads of cheese with plenty of salad to go with it.
And if you sign up to their newsletter whilst you're there, you get 40% off between Monday to Thursday, so a bargain.

T. Z.Lovely options, nice environment and lots of drink options. On my most recent visit I had their steak with peppercorn sauce and my partner had their sea bass. We enjoyed it overall but thought the sea bass could have done with a little more seasoning. Personal preference I suppose? The price point is great with kid friendly choices.

A. I.The manager managed to accommodate us without a booking on a Saturday night but the food wasn't great. My friend's mushroom rice didn't taste of much and wasn't very creamy while my chorizo pasta came with rice (they didn't take my order correctly but I didn't mind) and it was extremely oily. There was a literal puddle of oil at the end in my plate.
For the price of the food I don't think it's worth it compared to other restaurants in Nottingham.

My friend ordered a calzone, it was burnt on top. The chicken and sausages inside did not taste nice. Neither did the tomato sauce. He actually left half which he doesn’t normally. Chips were very dry. Nice decor and atmosphere.

The drinks we ordered (mocktail & raspberry Bellini) were amazing. However, the service and the quality of food let the place down. This was my first visit. We ordered our starter of cheesy garlic bread which was lovely with our drinks and then we had to wait a very long time for our main course. In this time time a large party had come and ordered food and drinks while we were still waiting for our main course. Finally our main course had arrived at the same time as the large party next to us. The goats cheese calzone was good with plenty of cheese, yet the steak sandwich was very fatty and not nice after the waitress has recommended it. No one had checked back if our food was alright and no one had asked when they cleared our plates away. Therefore I told the waitress when I asked for the bill that the fries and calzone were lovely however the burger/sandwich was not. We had to again wait for a considerable amount of time for the bill which the large party had already asked for theirs and were leaving the place after we had asked before them. The waitress eventually came over and gave us our bill with the steak sandwich removed which I appreciate, however I was not satisfied with the service still and being compared to a large party. Within our visit we both went to the toilet and were not happy with the cleanliness. We were then forced into paying straight away and I still feel I paid to much for what we received.

Pasta , pizza and steak is all really good , the burgers are high quality ingredients but the meat is well done , and a little dry. The restaurant could do up the ceiling as it's a bit grim but the pizza oven gives the place a great Italian feel.

Here's the clever bit: someone "noted" that GF status, and when we arrived server said "you'll be wanting one of these" and offered her the GF menu straight away. Next clever bit: Server comes over and friend is asking questions about allergies / intolerance and they just took it in their stride "that's not really hard, is it? We'll just replace this with that, that with something else" and it's the most relaxed I've ever seen her in a restaurant. Greeted at the door and allowed to pick where we sat. Good service from a number of staff who share the work son none of that "..tonight you will be served by Azif...". The menu is typical student food and the place looked to be very popular with that group.
I chose a Superfood Salad with piri-piri chicken and my wife had Cannelloni with Meatballs.. The salad was delicious and unusual definitely recommend. The cannelloni was a little on the bland side otherwise very good.
would have given them 5 stars but they don't know how to make an Americano coffee - they think it's a double shot espresso!
