T. N.A wonderful and authentic Thai restaurant that is truly a gem in Oxford! The portions are huge compared to other restaurants in the area. A lot of people are saying it’s “too sweet”, but this is the authentic southeast Asian flavour. I had the pad Thai and the tamarind sauce really reminded me of home. All of the aromas and spices just made the dish perfect! The Thai iced tea was also fragrant and amazing! The whipped cream on top made the drink extra decadent!! A lovely gem!!
D. V.Overall great dishes with affordable prices! Staff were nice and we were seated very quickly after we arrived without booking. The seating was quite close to other people so having some space between would have been nicer. I love the atmosphere inside and the Thai milk tea is incredible as well.
We were told in the beginning that we will have a student discount but when it came to paying they told us they cannot offer it so because of this last minute change in price one star down. However I do enjoy the food so will be back again!
E. C.Thaikun was lovely. The ambience was nice and I would score my meal a 7/10. The quantity is pretty decent for the price and I must say they do a really good job with their meat. I had the barbecued pork and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was great as well, properly fried and the quantity was surprisingly more than satisfying. You gotta be careful with the sauces tho. My friends and I being Africans didn't particularly enjoy the sauce. We thought it tasted a bit weird, but of course different strokes for different folks. The dessert was sumptuous as well. The chocolate cake was heavenly, couldn't get enough of it. The staff were courteous and polite. All in all I'll give Thaikun a 7/10.
C. T. H.Fabulous restaurant!!! They have really good service. Food were delicious.Lots of variety to choose, offer vegetarian options. Nice decorations to make the whole atmosphere fancy and Thai feeling, with vintage lights and antique poster in the restaurant.
I. K.This place has seen better days in the past. Last time the food 🍜 was disappointing. More like microwaved food rather than original Thai cuisine. The drinks list could also have more selections. The decoration and the central location are definitely a bonus. The staff is always kind, smiley and very helpful.
N. P. 2.Amazing service topped off with an equally amazing food. The servers were all good looking and with a smile in and out of the restaurant adds 1 additional star as its quite rare to find enthusiastic service. The portions were large enough we had to take away. Green curry is spicy enough to fit our palate nicely. Overall I would love to come here again if I ever do.

K. K. H. K.A lovely traditional hotel in Oxford. The service was really awesome. The portion of food was also considerably good. We were taken care by Bangwan who was really courteous and delivered the Thai respect. Will definitely recommend this one and will visit again.
R. d.Great choice of vegan foods and it was absolutely delicious, and they were lovely when I asked them to adjust the spiciness because I like it real hot.
When I came in they told me the service was slow because of the amount of people but they were actually really quick and accommodating.
I'll definitely be coming back!
S. E.The service from Kit yesterday was amazing. She really paid attention to us. The kids didnt finish their food and I start to pack the food so she went to get the container for us without asking. It felt like thailand service. Amazing! service and foods. For improvement my kids could not eat any spicy food and they found that kids menu are spicy yesterday. We ordered pork and rice, pad thai in kids menu and both said their food were spicy.
