Really lovely lady served me, very attentive and professional. The food was well presented, tasty and hot. I did take a photo, but I was so eager to eat my lunch that it is not much help for a photo review. But I loved it .

Bit disappointed. Appears to have changed management, which has resulted in a considerable reduction in portion size, and the cod now appears to be a cut and shaped strip of fish! Improvements are needed!

Myself and my mum come here every Friday in the first week.My mum struggles a lot now with mobilty so we stick to three.shops .And Parrots has been a favourite of ours since I was a little girl .Fish and chips are so nice we also do a small one to take home for my brother .Service is ace to a I've and beyond .Can't wish for a better service and fish is outstanding.Thankyou .

The best freshly fried jumbo cod I have had in years. I highly recommend it.. Chef owned chippy - always good. Our lovely waitress Wendy was chatty and friendly and make our fish and chip experience one that I would like to repeat.

Used to come here when I was a little girl, we would come here with my Nan as a weekend treat, came today with my husband, and it is still as yummy as I remember. Tastes like seaside fish and chips. Staff so friendly, fully recommended if you fancy fish and chips don’t go anywhere else 👍👍👍

Peterborough's 'famous' fish and chip shop - with added quality. The usual take away but with seating if you have the need to rest. If you have time there is a restaurant upstairs with waitress service. All great value, excellent food and service for a very modest price - right in the centre of Peterborough. Recommended to try it, you won't be disappointed. 😊

I couldn't have chosen a better place for my first fish and chips experience. The cod was fresh and super tasty with a thin, crispy and surprisingly non oily batter.

Phoned an order through to pick up. Food as usual was delicious but....was told I have to wear a mask but because the order was ready it's ok, I am exempt from wearing masks due to COPD and asthma I mentioned this and was asked if I had a certificate to prove this. I'm afraid the NHS doesn't give out certificates for health issues. I will be using you again but someone else will have to go inside the shop for me

After hearing a recommendation from a friend, we visited Parrotts whilst in Peterborough for the Beer Festival. Our fish and chips lunch deal came with a proper pot of tea and it was excellent. The lady who served us also deserves a mention! She was brilliant, was chatty and had a great sense of humour. We will definitely return next time in Peterborough.

Excellent quality of food, can be busy at times but we'll worth the wait, you can put on your own salt & vinegar when using takeaway section, although I've never used it there is also a waitress service available

Their oil doesn't get changed enough or properly leaving a nasty rank oil taste....hope it stays as a chippy but hopefully a better one with the new owners....can't wait to see what the future holds and fingers crossed 🤞 like I say it remains a chippy 🤞

Without a doubt the best chippy so much better than the usual Mcdonalds stop when out for a day's shopping or just for tea. Great food and well priced and the curry sauce is yuummmmm Just give it a try you won't be disappointed 😄👍🏻😉

Great fresh fish in crispy coating, maybe just a bit too small 😉😜. The fries are good, they smell of fresh oil, the portion is large, although I've had better ones, they're still good. Nice service, we didn't wait long. We will definitely come back to fish.

Whenever I'm in Peterborough, I'll be visiting here again. Fish, chips,mushy peas, a pit of tea and table service for under a tenner. It's the last decent deal on the planet! Nice too..
