We were initially going to get Nandos next door but I realise I wanted something different. When we came in, very nice impressions and we were given a table, lots of wonderful options but unfortunately I ordered the seafood pasta but it had so much chilli in there, I realise that was probably on me not reading the menu but otherwise the starters and drinks were delicious. I went there with my colleagues for a leaving do. I had an espresso martini, which was delicious, and the oven baked sea bass. This was cooked well and presented appropriately. It's a fine place to go for safe, reasonably high quality food. It won't win any Michelin stars but is solid and dependable food.

Nice venue with friendly and efficient staff, unfortunately let down by very average food. We had a seafood linguine which was very bland and without any hint of the white wine sauce that was meant to be part of it. We also had a burger which seemed to be made from a meat paste rather than mince, it was pretty much without texture.

Great food.. Probably best white sauce pasta place in Peterborough...we ordered white sauce pasta and one of them were oven baked one... liked it...the chocolate brownie is good as desert option though standalone brownie option is on the costlier side...

Great food, very good service. I ordered the piri piri chicken penne pasta which was disappointing in flavour (and also lukewarm) but the waitress/cook were very nice and offered me a different dish at my request for no extra cost (the goats cheese pasta). The goats cheese pasta was amazing, and that comes from someone who almost never goes to an Italian restaurant. I was very impressed. The passionfruit lemonade was also very nice. I would visit again!

Been before and it was great but this time was truly dreadful, the pizza didn't have Harrisa on which was the reason I ordered it in the first place and with no check backs within 20 mins I just ate the pizza, when I questioned if they had ran out the waitress just said they hadn't and didn't seem to ask the kitchen if there had been an issue, the garlic bread was incredibly dry and crispy in the worst kinda way, then 4 different front of house took bits off the table over 10 minutes and after another 10 or so minutes we managed to get the attention to get the bill, overall the issues with the no check backs wad the biggest problem as the pizza and garlic bread could have been sorted and we would have at least been happy with the food

We went for a Christmas meal as a group of 10. The waitress was very attentive and polite. She was well organised and checked with our organiser who was having what. Meals arrived promptly. Visited Wildwood yesterday for my partners birthday. I will give an honest review of our experience. The ambiance, as always, was lovely, our waitress was sweet and attentive and the drinks were good. HOWEVER, the food was barely average. I had the rosemary garlic bread which was over baked and the peri peri chicken came with the skin on which would have been okay had it not been for the fact that it was still so soft and slimy, my daughter had the same and hers was like it too. My partners rack of ribs was mediocre as was my mother-in-law’s pasta. My son enjoyed the buttermilk chicken burger but I could see the coating was overdone and borderline burnt. I’ve given them 3 stars as the Lotus cheesecake was delicious and counteracted the disappointing main meal. Would I return? Unfortunately not…better places to eat in Peterborough nowadays and Wildwood are letting themselves down with poorly cooked food.

AMAZING!!! On our 12th Anniversary, we had such a lovely time. The food was fresh, HOT and tasty. Could not fault it. We also had an 'Alabama Slammer' cocktail which was gorgeous! Had an amazing night catching up with friends (and following Covid rules). Only fly in the ointment was the restaurant was closing at 9.00pm so not a lot of time, and last orders taken just before. Seating was lovely with wide booths to seat up to six people and excellent toilet facilities. Staff were very helpful and friendly too and the risotto is to die for. I will totally recommend and be going back as I felt comfortable and the food was delicious.

I ate there a meal which was a salad : ,,Superfood quinoa" (avocado, broccoli, cucumber, green beans, sunflower seeds, peas, feta cheese & herbs w/ a basil dressing choose either peri-peri chicken, smoked mackerel or grilled halloumi cheese) The meal was delicious . The server who handled me did not ask what meat I wanted. The same thing applies to wine, we agreed only that I want red, but he did not ask about the type of wine... The atmosphere was conducive, the music was nice and the restaurant seemed clean and well maintained.In the second part of the room you can have a view of the cooks who are preparing food freshly. ✔️Advantages: interiors design, card payment, toilet for customers, music, cleanliness, taste of food ❌Disadvantages: The service is not fully trained.

I went there with some friends at the weekend, I had a large pizza and it was delicious. Everyone else had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, which again went down really well. One of our party is American, and and while he said it wasn't quite the same as he would get at home, it was a really tasty meal. The ambience of the place was very nice and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. I would happily go back, and would definitely recommend the place. BTW they do a lovely passion fruit lemonade.

Fantastic food, everybody has to try the Mozzarella garlic bread . . . for starters it is well portioned and simply amazing! Beatuiful spaced restaurant, from the front door it looks deceiving but is massive inside and a nice touch to have the kids play area. We were seated straight away in the front part of the restaurant which was lovely - nice decor and atmosphere. Excellent gluten free menu, possibly the nicest gluten free carbonara my husband has tried. I had the Hoisin duck pizza and raspberry lemonade which were both delicious.Quick, friendly service and reasonable price. Extremely enjoyable experience, will definitely visit again. Might try the wildwood cinema which sounds fantastic!

I love the food here I went for first time in December as celebration of my exam passed successfully, and I love it so much that we went as well on the 24th of the same month. Food was nice and the stuff was amaizing we were serve by a Latvia lady that she was very helpful and well service. I will repeat as soon as I can.

It's OK and that is what it is. Staff is nice and attentive. Interior is lightly nodding towards the ever so popular industrial look and feel. Size of the place is actually surprisingly big, I wouldn't guess it from outside. Bar is stocked with the basic beverages nothing that doesn't move. No beer on tap which would be cool if you consider it's Italian and beer and pizza it's a thing (you can get bottles 350ml, 0.5l standard overpriced stuff) you have option of vine though. Food was coming from kitchen on time and without any major issues more like personal preferences I would say. Squid was bit overfried and chicken had skin on but due to the fat it wasn't as enjoyable but again you may thing otherwise. Dessert was on point. I visited on Friday night and it was nearly empty. This comes to me as surprise maybe Saturday night is the busy one. I quite enjoyed the situation as it had more private dining feel to it. Now I'm not sure if I will call there again for dinner but they have cinema room at the back and this is what makes this place special. You can have meal and movie which may be cool thing to try out. So that's something I would give a shot in future.

The chicken ceasar was freshly made and delicious; the pizza carne made with fresh dough and a range of Italian meats - it really makes a difference. I came here for our stag/hen (sten) night. Firstly, a few of our friends arrived at the restaurant early and were allowed to decorate the tables and cinema for the evening (which was a fantastic touch when we arrived!). There were 18 of us altogether on a Saturday night, but this didn't affect the service whatsoever. We were served by Michael, we couldn't fault him whatsoever. He was attentive, funny and everyone commented on how great he was. The customer service was excellent! We couldn't have asked for a better member of staff. - The food was also fantastic, all of our meals were served quickly with no-one having to wait long for everyone's meals to come out (for 18 people that's impressive!) the only very small negative is that the Eton Mess dessert should have more meringue. After our meal we went through to the private Cinema... which was awesome! The manager was brilliant at showing me how to work everything and honestly couldn't do enough to make our visit enjoyable. We had a console connected up to the projector, which started as a Mario Kart competition (we're a bunch of geeks) - catching up on all the latest trailers to be released that weekend at SanDiego Comic Con... and then after a few drinks, and thanks to YouTube, the evening soon turned into a lip sync battle between the groomsmen and bridesmaids! (the guys won!). Who knew a private cinema room could be so versatile?! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Not only is it one of the nicest looking restaurants in town, but it's possibly the best service we've ever received. Fantastic staff, excellent food and an overall amazing experience. 10/10

Fantastic first impression with great layout and decor, Wildwood also has its own small cinema and an indoor children's play area. Things started to go downhill when the staff forgot about us and our food didn't arrive. If the staff were focussed and morr engaged, I would have given this a much higher score.

Had family lunch but i would only say it was ok, for the price of lunch menu it is expensive compared to other restaurants in the area like middletons. So for the price i would expect a higher quality lunch. The burger i had was ok, only just above McDonald's quality really. Shame as i thought i would have got a gormet burger for over a tenner.

Nice decor, with good food with polite and courteous staff. The layout of having the bar at the front of the building is brilliant as it creates a good transition into the building and prevents the noise from the bar affecting the restraunt area toward the rear. However be aware that large parties are frequent at the restraunt end and heavy nights out do begin and sometimes stay in the bar area at the front, so be prepared to encounter some lariness, but all good natured I can assure.

I'm not sure what type of restaurant this is. The menu does not seem to have a theme any more and once the food arrives it is quite ordinary. Nothing seems very fresh, starters and deserts are very obviously "ping" food - the food is heated in the serving dishes leaving the spatters from microwave cooking. There is nothing wrong with the food, but is fuel rather than special....think cheap pub grub, but without the cheap price tag.

Went for dinner with a large group. We'd pre-booked, pre-ordered and prepaid but the service was *appallingly* slow. We waited around 1.5 hours for main course, and most people gave up and left before dessert arrived. The main course itself (chilli burger for me) was ok, but the Eton Mess was distinctly average to sub-par. Will not be using them again.
