I went into Wimpy last night for something light to eat and drink. I didn't want a full meal. I waited for a waitress to come and show me to a booth. She was very polite and helpful. I ordered a Strawberry Milkshake and a Double cheese Burger. Within 10 mins the food and drink had come. It was LUSH!!! Hot and well cooked. And the milkshake was cold and creamy tasting. Well worth a visit. Easy to get to via bus, car or walking etc. Very clean, covd19 rules in place. Excellent customer service and reasonable value for money.

I love going for a Wimpy with my mum. She always has a Wimpy and chips and I get the Vegan Burger and chips. Pot of tea or a diet coke. The service is impeccable. We are seated quickly. We always know what we want so we order straight away and within 5 minutes IF THAT! we get our food. Fresh and piping hot. They have facilities at the back of the restaurant. No complaints from us. Love a good Wimpy!!

It was lunchtime it wasn't that busy yet i didn't have the confidence that my server was fully in control of my order, she kept repeating the order but then missed 2 drinks and a dessert, the food was ok better than McDonalds but not outstanding, its been many years since i had the Wimpy Beanburger and i was eager to try, it is still amazing, if all veggie stuff was like this I'd become vegetarian. Banana Milkshake was awesome, pancake with ice cream not so much, £62 later and we are refreshed and on our way home, wont be back soon but will be back

Popped into wimpy for 1st time in 27 years! Sad to see it wasn't heaving, but impressed with the upgrade- spotlessly clean! Lovely staff, very friendly, very polite and attentive. Will go back.

I haven't been to a Wimpy in Decades, it brought back so many happy memories, I had a wimpy king-size, cheesy chips, Delicious. They also do Burger & a drink Wednesdays for £5.95, hava king-size or quarter pounder,all good .... Staff polite , Excellent experience ...well done

Love to come to this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a large variety of thing that you can eat and all of them very delicious. If you are in town then this wimpy is a great place to go

First time back here since the lockdowns, so a number of years, and it hasn't changed at all. They still have their distinctive, delicious burgers and great service. Very happy to still see the place here. I'll always visit Wimpy whenever I'm in Peterborough

We've had a ice-cream day out at Wimpy today. Didn't like it much because ice cream was very fast-melting and all the fruits in it were from tins. From good points - plenty of free tables, clean place with fast service.

Went with my friend today to have something to eat and drink and I say this was the best place to go to wimpy it was very nice and tasty Wimpy was the best to go to in Haverhill before they shut it down. On a short visit to Peterborough, had a wander around and spotted the Wimpy. Didn't realise there was still one open, so had to go in for lunch. Great to see the old favourites on the menu. Quarter pounder with cheese, purchase chips separately nowadays!. Served fairly quickly and still the same great taste. Good to see it was reasonably busy too.

I blooming love this place...spaced out (not me..the room 😂) plastic dividers (from ...people,l... only joking..but there are dividers, which is good for germs aka covid!!!) Great service, food fresh and lush (for my calorific sins)....but just yummy and a treat well deserved. Bought a bottle of their 'special.sauce'...its a wonder I have any left..it's delicious!...massive wimpy fan..shame there are not v many in the UK or infact (more importantly) near me!!!..we will return albeit a long drive...thank you xx

I mean who doesn't love a wimpy ? It's the best thing about coming to Pboro.....we used to have one in wellingborough but closed down, that was a sad day indeed. I love sitting down in a diner style to eat a beanburger and chips in a civilised manner with a knife and fork.

This place has 1970s charm. the food is 1970s as well not modern burgers like Burger king or MDs. but nice enough a bit like your mum made back in the day. For what it is and modern portion sizes it is IMO slightly over priced.

We were noticed and beckoned in to sit down immediately and served by very cheerful waitresses. Our food didn't take long . It was hot and tasty although I think we could have been given a bit more filling in our toasted sandwich. The tables are small so you feel cramped but otherwise we enjoyed our meal.

Lovely service, great breakfast food and relaxed atmosphere. Prices are quite affordable as well, so worth a visit if you're looking for a quick, fulfilling breakfast. Only one let down was a burger patty meat, tasted very rough and cheap, but everything else was really great.

Food is okay, last time I went the staff seemed a little disorganised and I think a Lithuanian or Polish guy took my plate off the table when everyone else was still eating. My waitress was friendly and polite though so I gave tips.

Covid-19 review. The restaurant is open for eat in and takeaway meals and you can get a half pound burger and chips for breakfast which easily beats Mcdonalds breakfast options.

Always used to go to a Wimpy as they were all over the country but sadly they have now all but gone. When I found one in Peterborough I had to go in, had a full fry up and it was great.

Unlike many "fast food" restaurants, the food at Wimpy has always been cooked to perfection and the staff are very friendly. Whilst not the healthiest food to eat on a regular basis, it is a great place to go for the odd treat ;-)
