I’ve eaten in quite a few times, also had plenty of takeaways! Everest is by far the best curry place in plymouth. My ultimate favourite. Everyone is friendly, everything is cooked perfectly. Maybe just a little expensive though in comparison to other curry restaurants.

Another review, last reviewed back in May 2017 and I rated it 5 Stars then and I won't be changing it now, this time i went for the Chicken Shashlik with Mushroom Rice and Garlic Nann, service was quick, staff friendly. Don't let the dated 1970s decor put you off, it might not look the part from outside nor inside but trust me you'll enjoy the food.. Highly recommended if in Plymouth..

One of the best restaurants in Plymouth! I always have a lovely time with their polite and friendly staff. Every dishes taste superb and so authentic. Cosy atmosphere, clean and tidy interior, and well presented meal, I will keep coming back for special occasions!

Pros: A hidden Nepalese restaurant that classify as "Indian" restaurant in mass market. Fresh quality food, attentive service. Non-greasy curry as it should be in Nepal. The Kathmandu Chicken gravy was finger-licking good (despite the fact that a single cube of chicken tikka was bit rare from inside and staff had apologised when drew attention) Cons: Portion size felt too small so ends up being pricey! The Google review mentioned toilets so spoke to manager who confirmed that being a leased site despite their wishes they can't do anything about it so ignore that part and "carry on currying"!! Would I return back? Of course yes.

My partner and I went here for our anniversary and I couldn’t complain about a single thing. I don’t usually write reviews but this restaurant definitely deserved one. Not only was the food absolutely gorgeous with such an amazing selection, the atmosphere is lovely, the staff are so nice and the decoration is gorgeous. Couldn’t ask for anything more and I would definitely recommend. Every Indian restaurant that I’ve been to before doesn’t even compare!

Food was OK. Although we ordered different dishes; Chicken saag, Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb curry very similar in taste. Unfortunately the Tandoori chicken tasted like it had been previously frozen and reheated. Friendly staff and quick service.

I had went in for dinner here and it was amazing food, ambiance and staff. From the moment you walk in your will be greeted with very friendly and cozy family themed interior design which personally I love because even if you go eat there alone it doesn't feel lonely. The food was just amazing I loved everything Abt it I had gotten the jiraa rice, chicken chili, chicken sadeko, chicken momo, the king prawn Kathmandu, sheerpa khasi, chicken saslic. All of them came in right time intervals from the starter to the mains so that you have some time to really enjoy your starters. All the staff were sooo friendly and the service was great. All in all a very great experience and I would encourage others to try as well if they are craving to have Nepalese/ indian cuisine.🥰☺️👌

I’m losing faith in google reviews, this is not a 4.5 stars. The food was ok, nothing special or unique on the menu you cannot get from any other Indian restaurant. The Nepal side wasn’t massively different from the Indian side. The service, while nothing was bad, it wasn’t good. The staff seemed a bit disorganised and not very focused on if the guests needed attention. If someone I know was having a birthday meal here I would go, but if was organising their meal I would choose somewhere else (sorry!)

Delicious meals in a quiet and cosy basement level restaurant (no need to descend any stairs as the building's on a hill). They serve Indian, Balti and Nepalese food, lots of choice in each along with all other selections you'd find in an Asian restaurant (breads, rice etc). I recommend a cold pint of Everest with your meal (for the over 18s). Friendly service in a calming atmosphere. I will eat here again on my next visit

I went in to get a table but was told they had none, so I ordered take away. I did sit there for 35 mins waiting and watched two tables remain open the entire time but maybe it was just reserved...it is what it is. When I finally left with my food and sat down to eat, they forgot to give me the garlic Naan I paid for. I didn't bother to call or walk back as I had already waited 35 mins and was hungry. I'll take the loss. As for the food, the chicken biryani and veg samosas were really great, I wish it were spicier but that's my preference.

Really enjoyed the Nepalese starters Aloo Chop and Chilli Paneer. Delicious. The Sherba khasi (main) really good dish to try out!! Lamb tender and soft, a nice layer of spice. I always order these with a vegetarian biriyani. Good portions. Good food quality. Not eaten in yet. I’ve always had a takeaway, and received good prompt service.

Standard Indian, curry and rice seemed to be quite plain and lacking flavour. Nice place and staff were friendly as well and being quick and efficient. Downside is now you have to pay for parking in the evening.
