Absolutely amazing greated just outside of the restaurant when looking at menu even though we were going in any ways. They gave us a free little Bread and lard to taste before we ordered which was amazing. The beer was cold and good and we were given a couple of extra cold vodka shots in memory of the Queen, which was an amazing gesture and heartfelt. The dumplings we had were absolutely amazing and wish I ordered more but when the mains came out I glad I didn't cause they were just amazing. The whole experience was 10/10 and definitely will come again.

We had a little new year party with a big group of friends today. I had never eaten Polish food but already in love. Not only the food were all authentic and filling, the atmosphere of the restaurant is so welcoming, cosy and homely. You can tell how Polish family would cook and enjoy the special potatoes, dumplings, goulashes and delicious soups. The serving was plenty, hot and rich in flavour too. I will most definitely come back to try some other dishes on the menu.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Plymouth. Absolutely amazing home cooked food, great beer (and vodka!). The potato dumplings with goulash are a must try. We also took desert home with us as we were so full of amazing food. Excellent and friendly service - highly recommend to everyone.

Incredible Polish food. I don't know how they packed so much flavour into the dumplings! I recommend the potato pancakes, but you may want to share them as they are very rich. Also try some of the vegetable sides such as the cucumber salad. I've been to Poland a few times and Foodie seems authentic to me :-) Staff were also very nice and accommodating.

Amazing, authentic, delicious Polish food. The home-style atmosphere is friendly and relaxing, the staff are all very pleasant and will speak English or polish depending on what you prefer. I'll be back again to try more of the menu and have more of the Karmi caramel beer! Yum!

Perfectly cooked authentic Polish cuisine served by friendly staff. I think you guys should change to a Polish name for the restaurant though 😊 I also wondered if it used to be a Chinese restaurant before becoming Foodies as the colours and wooden decorations on the wall look suspiciously oriental? This is no way detracted from the experience and quality of the food and this was one of the most authentic Polish meals I've had outside of Poland where I visit regularly.

This is a hidden little gem. The menu may not entice you but my partner and I went there and chose different dishes. The food was amazing. Large portions, very reasonable prices, yummy side dishes. The mashed potato is to die for! Wants good it is not a chain.

Stunning food, good alcohol and most of all lovely staff. Konnie was lovely and the chef not sure if he was the manager of chef but either way was a perfect night! It is sometimes hard to tell if the restaurant is open from the outside from the lack of lighting but the restaurant inside is nice and cosy. The food is a little pricey for what you get but that is to be expected in comparison to Poland.

My partner and I ate here for the first time. The owner was really attentive and friendly, he even played Croatian music for my Croatian partner which was nice. The free bread and traditional spread was delicious and he also gave everyone in the restaurant a free shot of his homemade liqueur. We tried the meat and the cottage cheese dumplings and I havent stopped thinking about them since. I could eat them everyday. I had the pork schnitzel main with cabbage salad, I inhaled the whole lot. My partner had the potato pancake with Hungarian goulash, she said it tasted just like home but it was such a large portion her and I couldnt finish it. The environment was lovely and the price was very reasonable. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. See you again soon

After entering, we immediately felt like we were in Poland, pleasant decor, family atmosphere. The staff was very nice and willing to talk to new guests. The food was delicious, pork chop a la pizza was a positive surprise of the combination of Polish and Italian cuisine. It's often difficult to get such good food in Poland. I heartily recommend it, a place worth recommending to people who want to eat local cuisine or get to know new flavors.

First time going in and I will most definitely be returning, such a lovely hidden gem serving authentic food. The server was so pleasant and recomendad some delicious vegan-friendly items. The portion is really generous so you do get your moneys worth. The atmosphere is so comforting, it feels like you’re dining in a family home, it’s so cosy and relaxing there! 10/10
