It's a very nice place to take a time out at the city center. The food is tasty. I had the German doner kebab twice and they look the way they were advertised. There's a cool ambience and the seats are comfortable. They did a good job with the lights, colours and walls. I would have given it a 5 star rating if not for the noise I got from the disposal of the glass bottles.

First time here after hearing positive reviews from my eldest sons - absolutely lovely! Nicely done dining area with comfy seats considering it's a fast food outlet. Good choice of menu, literally something for everyone - even my picky 13yr old found dishes she liked. The food is absolutely lovely and just that little bit different to your usual fast food. Staff helpful and friendly. Definitely on my go to list for when shopping!

I've got to say the customer service is this restaurant was some of the best I've received in a long long time. Both Mar' and Jack (apologies if the name is correct) - They were the two front of house on 07/06/22 around 8PM Both very very friendly, happy, helpful and most of all - had a smile of their face. Great food. Brilliant service, welcoming and helpful with advice on the choices and options. The original kebab is fantastic, however I highly recommend taking the advice of the guys there and trying the Doner Durum Wrap. Mixed meat of course. Bloody awesome.

Stumbled across this place by accident, but really enjoyed all the food. I'm pretty partial to a kebab, and although this was slightly different to the usual kebab shop faire, it was really lovely. Only really loses a mark because of the confusing menu. It's really not clear what everything is, and we ended up more or less picking things at random and hoping for the best.

Gone are the days when stavaros stood at the counter at midnight sharpening one massive knife with another massive knife, chilli sauce running down his top resembling blood with an almost blank stare resembling psycho ,to then slice meat in a way that sent chills down your back ,Yep !!! No more ,Kebabs have now become georgeous .No more dribbling drunks half folded whilst sharing their meal with the pavement.Im addicted,, the mixed meat with chips in a box is to die for ,you won't be disappointed , large space loads of tables excellent service I'm just gutted that the nearest one to us is over one hundred miles away ,but I like travelling 😆😆😆

Brilliant Döner as always. Delicious sauces and succulent meat. And the best thing is at this branch the bread did not disintegrate while eating and held all together. The best Döner I had in the UK so far.

Just ordered from here as I’d heard so much about them so thought I’d try for myself. OMG!!! The kebab was amazing and packed full of meat with salad. It was absolutely delicious. Not greasy at all and fresh. I loved the spring rolls and flaming fries too. I was that impressed that I was going on about it to my grown children that they actually said “are you on sales commission” lol 😂 would 100% recommend. You won’t be disappointed. Best kebab I’ve ever had and will definitely be ordering again

Honestly, the food is so good. Like, so so so so so good, the mixture of flavours, the sheet amount makes it worth it. However, we had to wait 45 mins for our food, and in a place that brands itself as fast food, that is too long. However, the staff were very apologetic and it was apparent that they are still ironing out kinks. I would recommend going just for the food. But It maybe better to order than dine in.

I like GDK, had one first time in London. But I've also been to this one a few times now, still tastes very good. They pack a lot of meat into their flatbread and the chips tastes great with the seasoning powder! I usually get the Boss Box with mix kebab, spring rolls, and season chips. Feels like the best offer. Though I didn't know you had to pay extra for some drinks (I wasn't told) Sadly last time, they forgot my dips, annoying since I like their dips and I paid for it in the Boss Box (they were busy but no excuse)

If you'd asked me what country does the best kebabs I wouldn't have said Germany but after trying the mixed kebabs I was pleasantly surprised. The food is great, really tasty beef, chicken or mixed kebabs, a selection of filings and sauces. I've only had takeaway from German Doner Kebab but I'm planning on eating in soon. I don't think I'll be able to have any other kebabs after tasting the German kebabs.

On arrival the place was fully seated. Always a good sign. As we waited in the queue a 4 seat table became free. I left my mate to order and waited by the table for the previous diners empties to be removed. After 5 mins a young lad came over, took the leftovers and proceeded to clean half the table before walking away. I called him back, took the cloth and spray and cleaned the whole table myself. After waiting a further 10min my mate sat down and we waited a further 5mins approximately for the food to arrive. This was bought over by a young lass. We asked her which was which as we had chosen different items. She looked blankly at us, picked up the food, took it back to kitchen before coming back with our meals and the knowledge of what she was actually serving. Beware of the forks, they break in your mouth leaving hard bits of plastic. Luckily, the table next to me broke his on the first prod so didn't experience that chewing onto something hard crushing your teeth pain! On the flip side, the food itself is really tasty even down to the various sauce. The portion sizes are large for the reasonable price. I took half home and ate it for lunch the next day. Service appalling / Food lovely Hence the 3/5

One of the best meals I've tasted visited the plymouth branch with my wife whilst on holiday. Would highly recommend this place German doner kebab is definitely an alternative to the usual doner kebab not greasy. Of all the kebabs, this has been my favourite. Not only edible after a night on the lash, like a normal kebab. I had the house kebab, mixed. Lovely texture and flavour. Expensive, but decent. I recommend.

OMG! Seriously their food is another level. Our general idea of a kebab is often associated with cheap night out food... This as said is another level all together. Fresh veg, perfectly cooked meats and breads are amazing. Beyond shocked by the level of profession and taste of their foods. Unreal kebab. very fresh, well priced and good size. The only kebab I've ever had that didn't make me feel a little ill after. I' usually look at a kebab a bit like a night with a fat girl. Sure, at the time it's nice, there's a connection and you are both enjoying yourself. But when you've finished and wiped the juices from your chin, and clarity enters your mind, you just feel a little sick, dirty and regretful. I've never gone back for a second helping of a large girl, but I'll definitely be back for seconds with this piece of meat. 5 stars!

I went to GDK plymouth for the first time. I had no idea what to get so I had to ask the staff they were very polite and helped me figure out what I wanted. Hi there I heard that when u order and get it delivered the food is always cold.so I decided to collect mine and I only live 5 mins away.the food was cold the chips wasn't fresh all crispy were soggy.the wrapping was nice to see nice and bright and the fork was a gd quality and bright one . Very tasty meat, not so sure about the salad. If you dont like cabbage, lettuce or tomatoes then it's a pretty bland kebab. I put my own chilli sauce and coleslaw on and it was delicious.
