Royal William Yard is a great place to go for a stroll or bite to eat and is even better new with the addition of hub box. We’ve eaten at the hub box in town before and loved the burgers and dirty fries so to have one at RWY now is great as it gives us more choice. They have limited eating outside when the weathers good but plenty of room inside and the decor is very nice. The staff were friendly and inviting. Lewis our server was attentive and very helpful. I’d recommend anyone that’s not tried hub box before to co and check it out.

Omg! I am just regretting I did not go before there! I Just had a stunning Vegan meal!! The vegan burger was so yum and the NO Bacon outstanding, the best vegan burger ever!! The food and prices are very good. They had plenty of staff working. So why only 3 stars? The length of time to get anybodies attention and then to get served was far too long. I gained a waiter's attention for a couple who were waiting about 30 minutes just to be asked what they wanted. Another's 30 minutes or so and they still didn't have their drinks. They had their drinks but was told no vegan options available. No one seemed to be covering specific areas. Nice staff who were all working hard. They just need to work smarter.

My vegan chilli cheese burger was absolutely superb - perhaps the best burger I've had. Thick juicy patty, delicious chilli, decadent cheese. Very happy! The only downside is it was really quite pricey for a burger on its own. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, it made our day! Thanks team!

As a vegan it's very hard to find delicious food. Hub box have crack it. I live in the south west and they are our go to place everytime.

A great alternative to the usual fast food resturaunts. A delicious menu full of local produce used in classic dishes, there is always something to tempt you and something interesting you have never tried before. Friendly inviting and in for.ative staff even asked if we had any food allergies they should know about before we ordered. Highly recommend this chain of resturaunts, this is the third one we have been into and will definitely be going again.

It's probably me but whilst the food is tasty enough, it feels overpriced for what it is. £9 for a small single hot dog? It's not a meal without a side so lob in another £4 or so for some standard fries. Dirty fries with Brisket £9 (and still feeling hungry). It all adds up for families and essentially, it feels like you've had trendier 5 Guys. Seco is a better offer I'm afraid. I want to love it given it's SW roots but sorry, won't be rushing back.

Just had a stunning meal for 4 people. Two of us are vegans and two are meat eaters. The vegans burgers got such a high rating from us, the best vegan burger ever!! And the meat ones were just as stunning!! The chip portions were amazing as were the side of cheese sauce. Will 100% be back here and the staff who served us were outstanding.

This place could be amazing, nice friendly staff, good atmosphere, lovely sourced ingredients right down to the flour for their buns etc but sadly they oversalted everything. The sweet potato fries were crispy which is no mean feat but I couldn't eat them because of the sheet amount of salt on them. The burger itself wasn't too bad for seasoning but the dirty sauce was way too salty and I needed to add ketchup to balance it out a bit. Just because you can source local sea salt shouldn't mean you drown your food in it!

Considering that there are only major fast food chains like McDonald's, KFC etc nearby it was quite nice to have another Choice. I didn't get drinks but the had some cheap cocktails on the menu as well so might be wort checking that out. Not that many different toppings with the burger but otherwise lots of different fries and dips as well as veggie and vegan options. Staff was lovely!

Stop what you are doing and come and eat here! I always wanted to come and try the hubbox and it definitely pass my test with flying colours. I came with my girlfriend and had nachos and guacamole for starters (homemade, probably one of the best nachos I've tried in town) the I had a chicken burger (Kim yum chuck, Korean chicken) I was expecting a bit more on the presentation (that's why 4 stars), my girlfriend had the clubbox (it looked amazing) we shared cheesy chips, tasty , not too salty and the cheese melted in your mouth! The staff was super kind and helpful!!

Excellent service by super friend staff. Tried the Bacon Double Cheese Burger with the Buffalo Fries and a Passion Fruit Cooler and it was all delicious and I would highly reccomend it all. My wife and mother-in law went for the Hey FC and BM Chicken burgers and shared a portion of skin on fries along with a Dirty Passion Fruit Cooler and a Hub Raspberry Lemonade (both of which I sampled and they were awesome). Unfortunately it all looked so good we dived straight in before getting a picture and pictures of half eaten food aren't that appealing. Prices were reasonable, especially for drinks. Would definetly reccomend for both lunch and dinner.

Wow what a great place! I'm a very fussy eater and don't normally stop to look at menus. I tried to have a sneaky look at a window menu of this place I found in passing. The food would be 5 stars for sure, really delicious vegan burgers!! But honestly just over priced, for £12.50 you would expect a portion of fries too instead of another £3-£4 for a medium portion of fries. (The sweet potato ones were also incredible though) Service was lovely, really friendly people but just a bit slow, waited a little over half an hour despite it almost being empty.

It does not look like the kind of place you'll love and come back, but I was really surprised when I tried their vegan burger, as it tasted amazing! I had to go to the counter downstairs to ask them if they had given me the right burger, cause I could not believe the taste and the texture it had. They buy their vegan burgers from Moving Mountains, and if you have not tried it before, let me tell you they taste amazing. I give them 4 stars because I felt the upstairs area was a bit lonely and not very taken care of, but it was still good enough.

Did my first click and collect order... very impressed as it was right on time! I have no deliveroo option for Plympton but this isn't a big deal as happy to drive 😊 I also changed my burger to have no onions but no option to have no pickle, so added that into the special instructions at the end and very nicely the chef left out my pickles 😊 Portion sizes are extremely good and very good value for money. Why with my husband and 8 year old. Got seated straight away. My husband had a kahuna burger, which he was raving about. I had a chicken burger which was probably one of the best pieces of fried chicken I've had in decades! My son had chicken and chips which was super tasty too. (He said it was like there was a rainbow in his tummy!!!) The manager brought over a houmous and flatbread starter for my son which was so obviously home made, it was AMAZING (we're definitely ordering a big plate next time we go here!) The kids meal cones with a choice of dips so my son said we could pick so we went for the jalapeno mayo, which was just spot on. Not too spicy, but a bit of a kick..... My son actually tried it too and liked it. We had milkshakes to take away at the end.... And they were awesome. I'm seriously super excited to have fallen in love with this place! Everything was superb, the food, the decor but on top of that, the service was impeccable, genuinely cannot find fault in this place!

However the fries were McDonald's quality very thin, soggy and maybe not fresh cut or prepared. Burger was a great combo of flavours but by no means up there with Five Guys. But that is a small selection and was very disappointed in the fact 90% of the menu doesn't come with chips and they are like £2/3(can't remember exactly) extra. Firstly, the service is fantastic. There is a great atmosphere. The beef burgers and chicken burgers are delicious with plenty of variations. The cheesy chips are great as are some of the other types of topped chips. The only reason for 4 stars was because of the onion rings which are okay, quite light batter and 'real' onion, but they were really greasy.

It certainly feels unique and has it's own brand. The salted caramel milkshake was incredible and easily matches the quality of Byron. The burger was average, and the prices were okay. Me, my hubby and my daughter decided to go into Hubbox for a quick lunch. The customer service was lovely however I did have to send my food back as they forgot to take some of the food I couldn't have off my meal. Also my chips were very late. They were gracious in how they handled the situation and took my meal and chips of the bill. My daughter found her macaroni was a bit salty. My husband enjoyed his meal. All in all, the front of house were amazing however the kitchen has to step up it's game.

stumbled upon this restaurant when staying at a nearby hotel and wanted somewhere to eat that was family friendly. this seemed to fit the bill. when walking inside you are not blown away - it's a glorified storage container with a few tables and chairs which make it have that American diner feel. I wasn't expecting much from the food but F*$K ME it was incredible. personally - as a foodie, I always go for a burger and have got to say this was probably the best one I've ever had. scrap that - not probably, it actually was. it tasted incredible and the only criticism was that because it was so nice, it didn't last long. the same could be said for my other half who had the mother clucker (what a name!) the chips were to die for.... we both actually made an orgasm face at each other upon realising how tasty they were. tipped the owner or manager as it was so much better than we had anticipated. I'd drive 2.5 hours from Wales again just for one of those bad boys. da aiwn.
