What a great find. Its off the beaten path located near the Mayflower Marina. We were met by a very gracious host who quickly showed us to our seats. This is the second time I've been here in 3 days. Normally I'd order off the menu however this time I chose from the chalk board specials. I started with a very delicious fish soup with a creamy savoury sauce. The follow up meal was a delightful salad (avocado, mango, snap peas and other additions) topped with local prawns. Delicious. Desert was what I consider an authentic " Sticky toffee pudding" made with dates and date sauce. Excellent. I rarely give a 5 rating but this gastronomical delight was well worth it. A modest facility with very tasty dishes. I will be back.

Lovely cool glass of pinot and a refreshing beer for the other half. Spot on service with a welcome smile. Clean and a delightful place to be in. Home made fish finger sandwiches on brown for him and salmon sandwich with cream cheese for me. Frsh, tasty and very satisfying. Compliments to the chef. Walk to the little beach after and view the array of boat life.

In campavan so concerned where to park as their carpark pretty full and not alot of space for a 6.3 metre long vehicle, but found a space to park as you carry on road by marina. Food really good and staff very friendly and helpful. Give it a 5/5

A Happy Valentines day it was . Jolly Jacks at Richmond Walk Plymouth. The evenings menu was superb ! A shared platter to start of prawns mackeral halloumi dips and more.followed for me a trio of duck 😀 with sides then a shared dessert of creme brulee macaroons strawberries 🍓 dipped in chocolate and more ,,,,,,,, Highley recommended .

A little offbeat, hidden in the corner of the boatyard. This place, and its staff appear to be quietly confident that they have nailed it. They have too It has a unique atmosphere... buzzy but relaxing. It has a great little menu. We like it, we do!

Went for lunch today as a group of 4, staff were attentive and helpful, food came promptly and was all perfect. Then we found out that they were a man down in the kitchen and only had one chef working, restaurant was full, so hats off to the chef for providing 5 star service under that pressure! Lovely staff, but the open log burner door, the heat was so suffocating we couldn't get out of there fast enough. Too hot, no air and to be honest not somewhere I'd go on my birthday again. We were too uncomfortable to even consider dessert 👎👎not to mention the fact I had mussels to start, a lot of empty shells, no finger bowl and no empty shell bowl. I've eaten enough mussels to know this could've been better 😕

Used to visit quite often but not for a while until recently. Was OK but not great. Please don't serve a lime and soda in a pint glass! Had to ask for a different tall glass as really not nice especially for a female! Wild mushroom tagliatelle tasted nice but was a huge portion for lunch and just too much! My friend had the same and we just couldn't finish it as was too heavy and made us feel a bit ill. We both felt unwell that evening so not sure if something wasn't quite right. Generally a bit expensive. Should offer lighter lunch portions as an option. Staff OK but not overly impressed.

Quite nice restaurant. Polite personal, good food and fine assort of beer. The terrace is not directly at the waterfront, but you can see the masts of the ships. So there is some Marina feeling and a lot of sailors are there. I had fish& chips, and a steak bun for dinner and an egg Benedict for breakfast. I felt very welcomed and the service was very careful.

Do pop in for a meal here, lunchtime for a light bite perhaps or for an evening main event. The quality of the food is excellent at very reasonable prices and the service fast and friendly. With parking just outside it's very accessible too.

Myself and six other old school friends met up for a catch up. The staff were brilliant and attentive. Although we didn't eat, the meals that were brought out for other customers looked and smelt beautiful. Definitely recommended.

Celebrated my daughters birthday with a very delicious breakfast here today. All was well until a dog owner walked in and her dog opened their bowels on the floor beside us. Obviously she was embarrassed and the smell was horrid. The dog owner left and the staff cleaned the area. My daughter and I stood up to leave when I looked the the woman on barista and said,"well that was vile". She then replied," you sat there long enough". I was NOT impressed with that reply at all and promptly told her so. My daughter was fighting to keep her breakfast down and I was waiting for the area to be cleaned before walking passed it. What a rude individual!! Don't think I will be returning with an attitude like that.

We booked last minute yesterday for an early dinner with our 16 month old. We had a lovely table inside, with great views. It was lovely and airy in the restaurant. We had a warm welcome and the service was excellent throughout. The food was delicious, hot, and served in good time (we were particularly aware of this with a little one). to start parking was horrendous ,venue ok.Quite a limited menu because if Covid and really there was nothing I particularly fancied. Went for the lamb and harissa burger. It was juicy and tasty but literally just the burger and some chips on the plate. The chips were great but I had what must have been at the bottom of the pan, just little bits and few actual chips. Dad had the mussels that were very tasty but served with some stale bread. Pie and fish and chips had top marks,service was good and friendly.

Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Jack's is inside the barrier of the marina on Richmond wharf, you get 2 hours free parking. There is an outside seating area as well as indoors. We had Sunday roast which was OK but luke warm, no stuffing or apple sauce available. No ales or beers (mainly largers) but a nice cornish stout instead of Guinness. Hose wines were very nice, both red and white. We had trouble finding a parking space as it seems to be shared with residents and yachties on the hard standings.

I was a little shocked at the price of the Sunday roast until it arrived!!! Easily one of the best pieces of beef I've ever had. It was brisket and it just fell apart! It was incredible! The rest of the roast was of the same high standard; veg was very tasty and the potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were also both amazing. I have eaten here many times in the past and it has always been good but the roast is on another level, easily worth the £17.50 price tag considering a run of the mill roast will set you back £12.50 in many restaurants. I will happily pay the extra fiver if the roast is that good every time! All other aspects of the place are top notch too including the service; very friendly and very helpful. All in all a top class establishment that is always on the list when considering where to eat out in Plymouth.

Have been here a few times now and sampled food items from the breakfast and lunchtime menus. Quality of food and portion sizes have always been good. The set lunchtime menu is excellent value for money and I would highly recommend. The staff have always been friendly and efficient. I took my mum with me on the last visit (a lady who is hard to please!!) and she thoroughly enjoyed it so much so we will be returning when she is next in Plymouth.

Food good. Limited menu, was made worse by running out of beef dishes and half the specials the evening we went. Shame as my wife doesn't like fish and can't have cream, so the pie of the day wasn't an option and her two back ups were sold out. The food we were served was worth 4 stars for the price, every one friendly here. The drink error was rectified quickly. I would try them again next time we are back.

We were two walk ins on a Saturday night. The staff were lovely and welcoming, got us drinks and sat us down very efficiently. Food was superb. Belly pork and lamb burger. Very good sized portions. (Although the lamb burger was meant to be flavoured with Harissa and it really wasn't spicy enough but that's my palate). Desserts were lime curd ice cream. Delightful. And apple and rhubarb crumble (not as nice as my home made one ;-) ) again very tasty. And everything was very well presented. However, as with many restaurants they don't give you space to pour your custard onto the dessert. It all runs off or you have to eat a bit before having space to add any. Anyway. Lovely atmosphere and great views of the RWY in the sunset.

Amazing place! We've been coming here since it opened as we stay on the marina and it's always consistently good - whether it be breakfast or dinner. The pints are of resonable price and I never fail to enjoy a pint of Rattler either outside in the sun or by the warm fire in the winter. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are visiting by boat or staying in the area

We found this place a while ago when looking for somewhere to eat that we hadn't been to before. We've been back on several occasions since. Food is tasty, served quickly and is well priced. We love the cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. One of the menu items is a Fishfinger Sandwich...but this isn't some bit of bread and a Captain Birdseye special. It's simply delicious...try it!

(Detailed review below) Food & Drink ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Accessibility ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cost ⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Summary ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food & Drink 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Although there wasn't a separate lunch menu per se, there is a selection of lunch-type meals priced as such on the rear of the main menu. Well, the food was excellent with generous portions. I ordered the Croque Monsieur and Kim had the Prawn & Crayfish Sandwich. We ordered a side of cheesy chips to share - we needn't have (but they were also delicious - thick chips cooked perfectly). The Croque Monsieur takes a little longer to cook (15-20 mins) but I highly recommend it. Kim's sandwich was equally awesome I am told. They have a great drink selection including alcohol-free beer (San Miguel) and cider (Old Mout Berries). Ambience 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited on a Saturday at around 13:30 and could easily get a table, but there were a fair number of patrons in at the time also. The whole setup works and fits in the location as part of the Yacht Club scene. Good music playing covers of big hits that was at a volume whereby you could hear it without it being intrusive in the conversation. In days gone by, I could have easily sat for the afternoon polishing off a bottle of wine... Accessibility 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The entrance and the toilets are wheelchair accessible. And everything is laid out for maximum accessibility. The only reason for me to deduct a mark is the actual accessibility to the premises at the end of the tiny, industrial Richmond Walk. It's difficult for cars to pass and parking is limited. On-site parking through a pay-barrier is free for the first 2 hours, so plenty of time for lunch. Cost 3/5 ⭐⭐⭐ The cost of the food and drinks was inline with what I would expect to pay for a bistro meal in Yachting land. A little expensive for a casual lunch for locals (~£28 total with soft drinks), but the portion sizes bring the value for money score up - assuming you can eat it all. Service 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service was perfectly good with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The food arrived as advised (given the extra cooking time of my order) and we felt as if we could have stayed at the table all afternoon - no rush... Summary 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ How have I never been to Jolly Jack's before? It was an absolute delight to visit for lunch, and I will be going back - It's perfect for the occasional treat lunch/dinner. I think I may have been put off by the name, thinking it was a greasy spoon 'caff', but it is anything but. A high-end 4/5 for me! Tip - Although the parking is free for 2 hours, keep you ticket handy to raise the barrier on the way out.

Food is lush, setting in the marina is lovely, often live music on at weekends and great event nights in the week. Bubbly atmosphere and roaring fire in the winter! (We don't work there honest, but we practically live there in the winter!!)

Genuine harbour themed pub/restaurant situated in the heart of a boat pontoon. Toilets with showers and a car park with hourly rates of payment. Food is on the more expensive end of the scale, bit I've always highly rated the food and the coffee I'd amazing. Food was really good but obviously we had come to the restaurant while their was a domestic going on with the staff. This led to what has to be said was just rude service, wine poured some went in the glasses, food almost thrown on table and last meal came out 10 minutes after first meal. This is a lovely venue with outdoor seating. The staff were friendly and clearly enjoyed their job. It was very busy when we arrived but they didn't seem harrassed. The menu had a good selection (fish based obviously) and on first inspection a little pricey. We ordered a special of the day, poached egg and bacon with asparagus and hollandaise sauce at £9.95 with a scotch egg appetizer and just water to drink. A perfect Sunday brunch in the sun.
