Had a lovely breakfast, lots of choice, service was spot on. Its was my first time there and was pleased to find out about the free three hour parking it you give your car veg to the staff on arrival. I'm coming back again very soon and bringing my friends.

Great place with stunning location, got a table even though we didn't book. Prices was average and drinks was well made. Only 1 star lost as I can only assume the manager or owner at bar wouldn't let me just buy a single shot for my drink but forced that 2 is better even though I told him I didn't want it.

Right from the beginning, we were made to feel welcome by Walhid and his team. The service was excellent , and the food was delicious and plentiful, we had the Sunday roast x4 and 2x 3 pie meal. There was nothing not to like. Was our 1st time there, but we will definitely go back.

We went at 4.45 for a Sunday roast but they were all out. The pub was not very busy and the staff were not very attentive. We were put in a table near the door but it appeared like we were just a spare part so asked to be moved. The food was average and not much care was taken to present it. My food was very small and the broccoli stems were limp like they had been cooked before and warmed up. My husband's burger was nice but the garnish inside was not carefully cut up and put in big chunks of onion no care taken. All in all we would not come unless the roast dinner is on the menu. Also we won't go so late in the day on a Sunday. I think it was just bad day as we have had nice food before.

Went for a Sunday lunch roast with some friends. Service was really good: quick and courteous. Parked with some ease in their car park and remembered to enter the registration plate in their e-machine inside the entrance as they check car registrations.

We came here for breakfast before a cinema trip. Slightly disappointing. Black pudding looked and tasted like it had been say there for 3 weeks, so dry and could barely cut it. We were sat in the conservatory probably the furthest away you could get from the buffet section with nobody else in sight. Service was painfully slow, my husband wanted a second helping of hot breakfast items but we needed to track somebody down. He got a stink of a look as if we were inconveniencing them and they had better things to do. Not sure we will come here again.

Had to wait half an hour to be served, very few tables were occupied Unfortunately chips were just warm and the battered fish still had its skin on, which made the batter soggy. Very disappointed. However the puddings were beautiful and piping hot.

Definitely worth a visit! Polite and helpful staff. Clean and well stocked toilets, dining areas clean and tidy. Cosy downstairs with more tables upstairs. Menu was not over filled with choices but had varied options. I asked if risotto was dairy free but chose another option. I was impressed that within a minute of ordering the waitress was back saying chef could make a dairy free risotto for me, which was absolutely superb! The food is ten star rating, with every course. We felt it was worthy of the prices charged and would definitely visit again.

Really surprised by this place. Ended up eating here as a 2nd choice, but will definitely be going back. For a chain gastropub it was very good. The food was well cooked. It came reasonably quickly. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It's clean and the food was very well presented. Only minus point was the availability of my 1st choice from the menu but there's a nationwide supply shortage at present so I can't be too judgemental on that.

We were made to feel very welcome even though we hadnt booked. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. The children well catered for. We loved the fact that we could stay parked in the carpark to visit the aquarium afterwards. Thank you for that. It made for an enjoyable, stress free afternoon with my grandchildren.

Loads of outdoor seating. You can catch the boat ferry from the Barbican for £2 each way £1 for children. Have a drink or two, walk the Mount batten pier then return. Ferries leave every half hour.

OK for a gash meal but very average, would rather have eaten on the Barbican. Didn't help that our first impression of the restaurant staff, was the team leader coughing her heart up as she came to welcome us (didn't give us confidence in the current circumstances!). Seasonal Cocktails were well made, though some of the seasonal "fizz" seemed flat not bubbly. Ordered a "smothered" burger, but the "smother", was nowhere to be seen. Had to ask for sauce as there was the tiniest bit on the bread. Fellow group member had pie, but you could tell that the mash and peas had been on the plate a while. Desserts were reasonable. Could be worse, but could be a lot better.

We loved the Friday night we had a meal here and Saturday morning breakfast. However Saturday evening dinner was a bit disappointing. They were short staffed, although the food was lovely the service from the staff wasn't as attentive as it could have been or had been the previous night. It's for the reason that Friday night and breakfast were so good I haven't marked the stars down as it could be they were having an off evening. I would recommend as food is excellent.

We have stayed at the Premier Inn at Lockyer's Quay for quite a number of times and dined at the inn regularly but this was without doubt the the best. Looking forward to our next visit.

Let me say right off the bat, the mains and deserts were great. The starters weren't as good. The baked camembert that I received at first was still stone cold in the middle. I told the (very helpful!) waotress and she took it back to get me a fresh one, but then that took 25 minutes. As far as I could see, there were 3 servers working and the restaurant was very busy. It is Valentine's Day and apart from couples, there was an 18th and your standard customers. My wife and I got put into a section full of OAPs eating their lunches... very romantic. On another plus note, due to the messed up starter, we were given a round of drinks for free. I genuinely cannot say if I'd ever go back.

Went on a Tuesday night, plenty of staff only about 4/5 tables actually in, waiter was slow to take our order, and then forgot a few things. Overhearing another table, the same waiter forgot to process their drink order twice. Restaurant itself was amazing, but the staff lack a bit of priority. Will return though!

Long wait for service in the end cancelled the last round of drinks. Waited long time for desserts to arrive appreciate they were very busy. However the food was hot and tasty. Good choice for desserts. Would go again.
