First off. I love Indian food and only give reviews when I eat somewhere special. Absolutely beautiful food. Spicy, flavoursome. Each dish is unique and the portion sizes were generous. Lovely staff who were passionate and knowledgeable about the food. Will definitely be back when I'm next in Preston. You will not be disappointed!

Came again and its still an amazing food & atmosphere! The place had a lovely warm buzzing vibe to it. The place looked really good as does the menu. We ordered alot of food, and we do go to a lot of Indian but the peshawari naans were superb. The veg manchurian has an indo chinese flavour to it as the staff explained to us and the chicken lollipop has become our all time favourite, definitely a must try if you haven't already. We tried the railway lamb curry which was really soft and tender with onions & potatoes in, really rich in flavour. You can tell everything is made fresh to order, especially the saag (spinach) which was smooth and delicious. The rice was soft and fluffy & generous portions. The cocktail menu & mango lassi went nicely with our meal, we just didn't take enough pics!

Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the North West, authentic & flavoursome curries. I did laugh at one of the previous reviewers calling themselves a curry connoiseur and then stating that they ordered a Korma. It's also really good value for money, not expensive at all in my opinion. Fantastic restaurant, so much so that I occasionally drive from an hour away to eat in or pick a takeaway up.

A spare of the minute drop-in after visiting family in the Royal (were not local to the area, from Cheshire), a table was made up despite being busy. By far one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of eating at...the food is absolutely delicious and authentic, with a wide range of dishes. Incredibly attentive and friendly staff, and food served quickly. 5 star restaurant. Can't wait to eat there again.

They've really stepped up here. I used to find it a bit and miss. The last two visits have been superb. Service was exceptional, plenty of staff, very responsive and friendly. Have seen this place on the way to the hospital so , as we had chance tonight, gave it a go. .. and am happy to say it did not disappoint. The food was wonderful. Just reading a poor review. Who goes to an Indian and orders chips. From the start -The popadoms were cooked wonderfully. The prawn madras was hot and exceptionally flavoured. The rice good, the peshwari naan bread delicious, the tandoori chicken immaculate and all with great service. I needed a large bottle of water as the madras was spicy, hot and tasty as a top Indian would present. Im going back in next few days, it was that good.

Just the best curry house in Preston. A half hour wait for my takeaway, but given a free glass of Cobra for the inconvenience. Jake brought the drink who is such an asset and a really nice guy.

This used to be our go to Indian but is now our backup. They've probably been through financial instability during Covid and had to go for cost saving measures. You know what happens when you save cost in cooking. The freshness of curries is gone, breads and rice feel cheaper, and you can taste the not uncommon effort to hide a tired curry behind spice. The effort is genuine though and they've got good staff and ambience (except on upstairs party nights). Food is well presented and the chaat is good. It's still our backup. I've edited this review from 5 to 4 stars.

My partner and I had Christmas lunch here, not only did they book us in at very short notice, the food was absolutely fantastic. The staff were exceptional with a special thank you to the lady owner who went above and beyond. We would fully recommend this restaurant to anyone and we will most definitely be back. Ordered a takeaway for collection via Just Eat and arrived just before the collection time. The members of staff who greeted me were so friendly and when I mentioned I was there to collect a takeaway they knew exactly which order it was due to a request I left in the notes to the restaurant. I thought this was a really nice touch and made the service more personal. The food was fantastic. We had chicken biryani, chicken tikka saag, kebabs and garlic naan. Everything was cooked well, hot and incredibly tasty. The biryani sauce was incredibly flavoursome and my saag had quite a bit of heat to it which I thought was nice. Portion size was generous with plenty of left overs. We will be back for sure!

New to this fantastic restaurant and all i can say is wow. Firstly the staff are lovely and can not do enough for you. The service is excellent! After only ever ordering chicken tikka masala for as long as i can remember i can now say i have a new favourite. Chicken and lamb tikka balti... WOW!! Both my partner and i agree this is next level and bursting with flavour. This is definately our new place which we will continue to go to and try more delicious dishes!!

Probably the best tasting curry I've ever had. I've had the Surbhi Juicy Lamb (Lamb Shank) twice and it's pretty amazing. Great service in restaurant and great service if ordered online for collection. Cheers Guys 👍

Service was really good! And food was good ordered meat starter for two which was great and the naan was nice too. Only thing I didn't like was the goan fish curry as they used the same fish (battered) that you get in the starter and the batter became soggy in the curry sauce.

Came here for the first time post lockdown with a few friends tonight. If anything the place has only got better. It was really busy for a weekday which is a very good sign. I'm vegetarian & as they have a big selection of veg starters we had a few mix. The bhindi kurkuri were nice and crunchy, the paneer tikka was super soft & flavourful and we had some mocktail mojitos that were super fresh. In the mains we followed the recommendations of our server & had saag as they do it fresh & we weren't disappointed, alongside some chilli paneer and a side of bhindi. We left super happy & content looking forward to our next visit already :)

Great evening here at Sai Surbhi. It was very busy and we didn’t book but were offered some drinks whilst we waited for a table. The service was great despite such a shortage of staff in the sector (I work in hospitality). The food was amazing, I highly recommend the Chicken Shahi and Veg Hara Bara. Our table enjoyed all the dishes. Also as we are mainly whisky drinkers, the selection here was varied and more than satisfied everyone.

Went on a Monday night, the place was full but we had A+ service and food. The servers were very attentive, cheerful and friendly, which made for a wonderful atmosphere. I had a great meal here with family and friends. The service was fast and friendly with something to suit all tastes. Everyone in our group had a good time and enjoyed their meals. The menu had something for all, vegetarians, meat eaters, younger and older. We don't usually have dessert but we managed to find room for a delicious Indian sweet and even liquor coffees -which we highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!

This is not just my local Indian but a fantastic family favourite. Between the fab owners ( Mr Singh and Co) hospitality and the head chef Rana saheb s ability to tweak every dish to my taste there is little they can do wrong. They have catered to everything from the two of us out for a quiet meal at 9 on a Monday to me taking 30 people from work on a busy Friday evening. Great space upstairs for bigger groups or parties. Happy to recommend.

Really nice food. The chicken dish was to die for. Friendly attentive staff made it a very enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend a visit. On the down side it still smells of smoke after a recent fire at the premises and is in need of a refurbishment but maybe they are waiting to be paid out on the insurance. The walls of kitchen area looked like it needed decorating too. Highly recommend the food though.

Sai Surbhi is a good Indian restaurant in Preston with reasonable pricing. The staff is good. And they have now opened eat ins as well. The food is good. If you go their then you must try the tikka Kebabs.

The quality of the food was very good and probably one of the best and nice place. however, the prices are too expensive for the quantity. i could have eaten 2 currys and not been full. good job we ordered garlic naan. if i order a hot curry i expect it to be hot, not medium (jalfrezi!).on the drinks menu there are various beers, but there was only cobra on sale. very disapointed for paying 29 quid for 3 beers and hardly any food.

Food is really nice and I highly recommend it but they have this weird obsession with not giving you the rice that you ordered. On two occasions this has happened to me. You order X portions of rice and they bring you what they think you need instead. They don't charge you for the ones you don't receive but I find it slightly annoying that the customer is not right.

We found this restaurant to be one of the best in the U.K. their vegetarian dishes very excellent and their chicken methi was very good. The staff especially Shilpa was very friendly and really looked after us . The owner was very friendly and asked us how everything was. They went out of their way to accommodate us by making some of the starter vegetarian dishes like chilly paneer and vegetable manchuriarn into a main dish.and their nans especially the tandoori roti was simply the best. The only thing I would say is it would have been perfect if they had some background music e.g indian instrumental e.g Ravi Shankar

After living close to a decade in Lancashire I can say for sure this is the only fine restaruant that offers truly authnetic Indian food in the entire North West of Englad (ignoring Manchester & Liverpoll area). Being a south Indian my supertaster buds can easily differentiate authenticate Indian food & some food that is named as Indian, this restaurant offers asli (true) Indian food. Varities on the menu caters for both vegetarians & meat-eaters, cost wise it's slightly upwards but that's perfectly fine for the qualitify & quantitiy of the food that is provided.

Its hard to find a good indian restaurant in UK and Sai surabhi is a place where you can get good indian dishes. We ordered papdi chat and it is by far best we have tasted in UK, the main course paneer makhani and dal tadka is also nice. The important point is the parking, it is better to walk or take a cab to this place. Staff is in good behaviour and suggestive, will surely visit again.
