H. S.Extremely friendly staff. Taste was amazing as always. Very clean restaurant although somehow i smelled chicken in the drinking glass, might need a bit of attention there. Staff was very friendly I would repeat. Definitely going to visit again
M. K.Well I would to start from the car park which is at the door of the place with lots of parking space .on the positive side the place is big and have top floor and a ground floor ..The food was delicious and the service was good plenty of staff on hand
The place was somewhat clean but the floor was not.
The biggest draw back is the waiting to get in we been told one hour wait but we been in after 50 minutes. It was cold and we had 5 children with us but still no joy.
And another negative we could not book a table.
So please get it sorted..

C.We were greeted quickly by a server and shown to a spacious, clean booth.
A waitress explained how we could use their mobile ordering via their website. The time it took for the food to arrive was about right. Not too quick and not too long.
We ordered a mix of different meals (meat and vegi options). Everyone enjoyed their meals.
The bottomless drinks aren't great but I think every nandos waters down their fizzy drinks.
I'd definitely visit this restaurant again when we're next in Reading.
A. F.Took our son to Nando’s yesterday for his birthday. Lovely venue at open gate. Worth the extra miles from Henley. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Checking on us through out our meal.. The food was lovely too. We will definitely be returning.
M. H.A brand new outlet with wonderful decor and very contemporary interior. Alas the reception and food quality did not match the same standard.
We had to check in on the App in the window from outside in the pouring rain. The app did not register and we went in the foyer to report. We were asked to march outside and to show it to the male staff. Wet and soaking, marched back in and he asked us to check in on the inside App. That did not work either. So had to give him our details for him to register manually.
Once seated, ordered the meal that arrived in 22 minutes. The burger was tiny tough bread, wilted lettuce and cold. Very disappointing indeed but the chips were nice and tasty. The waitress and serving staffs were excellent- polite and effectual but the male staff at the door had his mask with nose exposed all the time!
5. A.Been there a few times and the staff are a bit disoriented and slow but you can't expect them to move faster because they are busy all the time. The fact that they serve mainly chicken is a bit odd but they have some vegan options. Important!!!- they have a nice and warm atmosphere but they are expensive plus I don't know how clean is the kitchen in the back because you see only what is shown when you enter. Lastly, you don't wanna go there unless you know someone wich can give you a discount or you just feeling rich that day and want to spend more money that is necessary. Good luck !👍

Food was ok. Portugese roll was hard. Rest items were fine. A meal with chicken wings was disappointing as it wasn’t filling and may not be called a meal.

Unfortunately the chicken got lost, maybe a fox intercepted the order, as it turned out we had to reorder due to the original order not going through…
A. K.I’m a deliveroo driver and I always pick up from this Nandos. The staff are very efficient and friendly. I’d like to especially thank Keisha because she is wonderful and helpful. I also eat her twice a week and I enjoy it each time. The management and staff always do a great job.
H. S.Two out of five meals came out cold but the team dealt with it quickly and brought another two over, it was just a shame that the rest of us had finished eating at that point. Everyone was friendly and polite though, very happy to help and apologetic about what had happened.

The food was good but, like I said before, just the weirdest site for a restaurant and oddest and strangest internal of a Nandos I've ever been to.
J. B.The service dining in at this Nandos is consistently bad. Often stood in the doorway waiting to be acknowledged whilst staff eat or do paperwork at the table near the door. The toilets are normally dirty, with the sink backed up, filling the trough with dirty water. The accessibility toilet lock doesn't work. All of this I've reported whilst in:restaurant but on repeat visits is still there.
The food is OK though, it's Nandos. And if it wasn't for the fact it's close to our office, I wouldn't attend again.

M. T.Pleasantly surprised with this newly opened Nando’s. Service is very good, food is served hot and at a timely pace, staff are very accommodating and the place is spotless, including the toilets. A nice and comfy environment with a wide range of food to choose from. Mainly impressed by the allergy selection of food, whereby the chef consults and assures customers with allergies how their food has been cooked. There’s isn’t enough of this kind of service in my opinion, so five stars are well deserved. Totally recommended -plenty of car parking spaces too.

The chips were mostly burnt and a piece of chicken was not satisfactory, which is not the usual standard that we are used to -
BUT when I returned to the restaurant and complained to them showing them the proof of their poor food quality- they were happy to replace the chips and a piece of chicken too!
So I am happy with the outcome in the end although I had to return to the restaurant midway through my meal. So I will have to double check the take away before I bring it home to eat next time...

N.A little bit of a wait, but we’ll worth it! Food was 10/10 and Goran the waiter was exceptionally helpful! I requested for him to ask the chef to make my chicken well done with saucy sauce! This was delivers as requested tasted amazing! Also Goran was very welcoming and went over and above to keep us happy with our visit! 5 stars best Nando’s I’ve been too!
A.There are two ways to order your food, one is at the front of the restaurant & the other is online. It is quicker to order it at the front, as we was with another couple who used the website & the food took longer than ours. The staff are very nice, friendly & the food tasted great.
A. K.5 star review solely because of the customer service we received from Rob. Had an issue with my food, which he sorted out straight away. I have been before when other managers have been so unhelpful and rude, but Rob could not do enough for us. He is a credit to the restaurant
M. K.Went in for dinner. It was a busy Friday night. Ordered food using their website to avoid the crowd at the till. The food took about 25 mins to arrive. The waiters did nothing to help.
In the meanwhile, I asked for water for the family. All they had was glasses. No jugs. Given we tend to drink quite a bit of water during our dinner, I only had to get up about 6 times refill. They couldn't keep jugs for families?!
And finally the desert for the children (part of nandinos meal). It took about 20 minutes to arrive despite several requests to the staff.
So all in all, not a great experience. The only saving grace was the taste of food.

This meant that we had to line up and wait a long time to order. There were waiting staff and other points of sale available so just poor management who I did ask for help and who simply apologised. The food and restaurant were great and worth the premium pricing.

I've got some specific dietary needs and I only ended up here because work colleagues wanted to go there. But I'm glad I did! Exceptional service! Staff answered all my questions, took care to cater to all my needs and the food is great too! The sweet potato wedges are to die for! (But if you are plant based or allergic to egg, please keep in mind that the Perinaise has eggs in it)

G. B.It’s okay. We ordered to collect. The food was available within 15 minutes as they were not particularly busy. However, some of it was overcooked and crispy. A few bits were undercooked. The staff were very friendly and professional. I might try them again and give them another chance to see if the food is done properly. Hopefully they see this and keep an eye on things to make sure the grillers are not rushing too much. Lots of parking outside to it’s credit which helps! Usually you can’t find a parking spot directly outside a Nando’s for love nor money. So it is definitely situated well and easy to find.
Second time around much better. Update 22/02/21. Ordered. Food ready on time. This time no undercooked or overcooked food. Nothing burnt or too hard. Bread seemed fresh. Much happier! The usual friendly and polite staff as well. Thank you.

Since the reopening they have been fantastic. The food is delicious, nice and friendly atmosphere. The staff are amazing and so caring and responsive.
I love it. The staff are very professional and considerate.
They even facilitate religious needs, for instance I needed to pray at the store and the staff very kindly escorted me to the first floor and even offered to show me the direction for the prayer. This coming from non Muslims means the absolute world to me and it shows the level of respect they show to others from all walks of life.

Our food arrived pretty soon after payment, which was impressive, considering the restaurant was very busy.
The food was nice and was prepared exactly as we had requested.
Whilst eating, one of the staff members noticed that we were a little cramped on our table, so he was kind enough to put another table next to ours, so that we would have more space. This sort of attentive service was really nice to see and made our visit so much more memorable.
Overall, a very pleasant experience. The restaurant was clean, tidy and well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff.
Plus, there's free customer parking outside.

G. F.Mixed review during first week of restrictions being lifted for indoor dining in UK (17 May). From to house was very helpful and friendly, though we arrived at opening (11:30) and was told to scan the QR code on the outside of the door to book a table. There were 3 tables on the building being used. When the app was scanned it said 20-30 minute waiting time, obviously quite confusing as Nandos (at this time) did not allow bookings, so I had no idea who we were waiting to finish their meal!
Table service was mandatory as you weren't able to go to the till, so another QR code on the table was needed to be scanned, signed up to Nandos and then you can order. If you are going to visit Nandos is recommend registering prior to getting there. There were a couple mixups with meals and some waiters/waitresses were speaking very quietly under their masks. As this was the 1st Saturday for months I imagine this was nerves, but all of them were very friendly.
L. P.After a mix up with the wrong order tonight a quick phone call and return to the restaurant, we recieved very good customer service from the lady that took our call! And then greeted my husband with the right order! She was apologetic, and went beyond expectations to resolve! Food was hot, fresh and yummy! Sorry I didnt get her name but big thumbs up!

Was able to order quick and counter person said it will be about 40mns wait time - we were all okay with that.
When we arrived after 30mns, one staff asked us are you waiting for delivery and she said okay and started to arrange the sauce sachet on the draw. Another staff looked at our bill and said it is on it way.
We waited 20mns patiently and another member of staff came in, saw our bill and said your order was ready long back and she took from the storage and gave us the bag. We told if the order was ready why didn't other staffs made us to wait 20mns for nothing. This staff was kind and apologized for this.
But food was good - cooked perfectly and enjoyed them. Giving 3 stars for the food and taking 2 starts away for the way we have been treated at the restaurant.

Food arrived in good time, however they ran out of corn on the cob, which was kindly replaced with a side salad. Quality of food was top, as you'd expect. There seemed to be a little confusion on table management, as there were a number of empty tables but still people were queueing. I think it was either down to staff levels, or general inexperince. I. I.A lot of places have tried to copy but you can't beat an original Nando's, I have been here with my wife and kids a good few times and the food and service have always been spot on.
A. R.You have to join virtual queue just so you know if you haven't been there during Covid times. On Saturday Eve we had to wait 35 min the queue but then inside is safe and clean. Use app to place order and pay, no need to touch anything or put yourself in risk. Nice hot and fresh food as always

Food is good nandos affair and the reason a lot of people go to be honest.
Just need to up the game on delivering good service.
For example order counter wait queues were not clear. Then told by staff it was my fault.
Not sure if it was just ramping up new restaurant need some time to bed in or just the number of staff is too little and stressed ( though did not look like that).
Especially as both times I went were with table of 6 plus.
Improve the customer experience and the 5 stars you would rightly get as deserved.

M.Staff is not very helpful, the restaurant was virtually empty, we were told a wait of 20 minutes, details taken and asked to wait for text message, the message was received in less than 45 seconds. Due to COVID SOPs one is not allowed to refill the drinks, but staff not attentive and had to wait for several minutes to get their attention.

D. C.The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. The food was great - tasted exactly how you would expect from a Nandos.... however, the service was absolutely terrible!! After a long wait, when we asked the waiter where our starters were he looked at us blankly (he didn't seem to speak much english) and just walked off. The starters later arrived after our main courses had been served. Then to cap it off it took so long for 2 people's (out of the 6 people on our table) food to arrive that everyone else had finished eating before theirs had been served. Again, no apology or even acknowledgment from the waiter - just dropped it off and walked away. Its Nando's, you don't expect Michelin service, but its not that hard is it.
N. S.There was a waiting period of around 25 minutes but the staff were really friendly and accomodating. The ambience is superb and they have decorated the place really well. Food wise we felt the one in town is slightly better but it could also be due to fact that it was so busy and they were rushing to get the food out. But really glad to see a Nandos over here as we live towards Shinfield and hence don't need to go in to town all the time for good food!
M. A.Gr8 location, Ample FREE parking upto 4hrs.Nandos food is delicious & service is great too. What more you need.. There are ANPR cameras installed as soons as you enter the business park which allow 2hr free parking. You can enter car reg at Nandoos machine inside to get upto 4hr.
E. P.We love going to Nando's but now with Covid we didn't felt very safe. Despite the rules in places there were at least 3 customers walking around the tables without face covers, one of them on the way to the bathroom had the mask on the chin and was LICKING IS FINGERS!! Seriously people. Also, the bottomless drinks are to ask the staff to get us more and 2 customers just went there to help themselves and no one stoped them.

Well done definitely the best Nandos branch ive been to and trust me I've been to many.
W. S.Went after reopening post lockdown. Reduced menu which was disappointing. Also, not hugely clear that there is a electronic queuing system in place which requires you to go to the front door to scan a code. Ordering at the table via another link was good and food came quickly and hot. Social distancing is being maintained with tables spaced out and minimising contact with staff which is good and more than what most restaurants are doing.

R. L.A typical Nando's, good food cooked well. Has plenty of parking as on a retail estate. However, has teething problems. Since the launch there can be high demand at lunch times. The store cannot quite cope with the sudden influx of customers at lunch. Also the estate seems to have problems with gas supplies, Twice now the restaurants have been restricted on food provided as no gas supply.
A. K.I went to Nando's last Friday (7/2/20) in the evening with two of my good friends AW and Nas, really enjoyed our experience in the restaurant. The service was exceptional, from Veronica and Kane, they were very polite, extremely approachable and friendly. By far the best Nando's experience I have ever had. I hope Nando's rewards and recognizes the fantastic advocates they have in Veronica and Kane. I would like to request they are rewarded in some capacity for their brilliance in representing the Nando's brand.
