A friend took me here a couple of weeks ago and introduced me to a Shish kebab which I have to say was The Best mixed Chicken & Veg shish I can remember tbh. Great seasoning, taste & the meat/veg were roasted well done but succulent just how I like them. I went back this Tue for the "buy one pizza get one free" promotion and wasn't disappointed there either. Great value priced pizzas (especially on Tues). Can't wait to try more of the vast menus Inc: Gourmet Burgers, Fish & Chips & Chicken (spicy, peri peri, jerk etc). Only downside I found was it can take over 20mins for your order some times.

The food was amazing. I am fussy when it comes to pizza but the pizza was perfect!! My partner got a kebab that was even tastier than my pizza. I am sat there eating my beautiful pizza wishing I got a kebab also. I cannot rate highly enough. Normally every fast food place has their speciality. But this place is good for everything!! The staff were lovely as well!! I feel honoured I have a fast food place as good as this!

The best veggie burger I've had to date, no doubt! It was a home delivery order; food arrived hot and packaged appropriately. We've had a selection of mains and sides and everything was absolutely delicious! My beet burger was divine. We'll definitely be heading out for a dine in dinner at PhatJ's very soon.

I’ve just eaten the best takeaway meal I’ve ever had. The lamb chops were incredible, the salad was crisp, fresh and tasty and the bread was great. Prepared with care, skill and a passion for great food and customer service. Awesome!!!

My partner and I have ordered twice now from Phat J’s and the food has been delicious on both occasions. We have had the lamb doner with rice, burger, and chicken Shish and they have been cooked to perfection. You can tell the burgers are homemade as is the rice (rather than the microwave rice some places use) and the food arrives hot, presented well and packaged in recyclable boxes. We ordered a pizza for my daughter and it looks soooo good we both wanted to steal a slice. We will definitely be ordering from here again

First time ordering tonight. Very warm welcome upon entering. The shop looked very clean which was nice to see! All staff very friendly and smiley which was nice! Placed my order with specific requirements (crispy fish, separate chips etc) left to pick up my son and returned not long after and collected my food with ease. Got home and the food was still hot which was great considering I drove to the other side of Tilehurst! My fish was delicious, lovely crispy batter and very moist cod, the portion of chips were huge and very tasty!! My son loved the mac cheers bites and my hubby throughly enjoyed his donner meat and chips! Overall amazing service and amazing food! Will definitely be back to try more tasty items on the menu!!!

Just ordered from there for the first time and oh my was the food good! Family of 4, and it only came to £32 and that was with extra sides of chips and drinks. The food was so tasty and cooked well and large portions. Highly recommended and think we've found out new Saturday night take away place! Just what calcot needed. The place is very clean and friendly staff

Staggeringly large portion takeaway with a short wait while everything is cooked to order. Make sure you understand what you are ordering to avoid overkill. Good value family feasting to be had here. Recommended.

Yet again Jay has smashed it, we ordered kebabs for delivery and they were soooooo good and still very hot, I absolutely LOVE the disposable environmentally friendly boxes and keeps the food from going soggy like poly boxes do. Thank you for yet another amazing kebab-the chicken doner was just lush.
