R. A.Charming and very friendly country pub. Buddy, the landlord, serves Indian cuisine in a restaurant on one side of the pub and contemporary English cuisine on the other. The central bar area remains as a pub and the regulars provide a warm welcome. Cosy in winter when the log burner is on.
Occasionally they host music evenings including some rather good Elvis acts. Would highly recommend a visit.

Am told they also serve a range of more traditional British pub food, but I was too distracted by the wonderful aromas emanating from the kitchen to even consider anything other than the Indian cuisine.

A. H.Made very welcome by all staff. Shown to table of our choice by very attentive publican/entrepreneur, we were helped to find the type of Indian food dishes we would like from a very extensive menu. The meals were very enjoyable and suited our needs to the hilt .

N.Nice pub with Indian restaurant attached. Welcoming landlord not phased by accommodating large group. Plenty of outside seating. Reasonable choice of drinks including hand drawn ale. We didn't eat here but we'll be back!

She made the gentleman I support (with learning disability) feel very at home and welcomed him back as he had been before. Very inclusive.

P.Dropped in for a drink and something to eat. Dog was allowed in garden but not inside - fine evening so no problem.
Taking food order was a bit slow.
However food arrived quickly and was very good. Well defined flavours.
We will definitely try their delivery offering before too long.

It's split into two halves - Indian and "British". Doors on opposite sides lead to the two restaurants and its not obvious which is which.
Our reservation was for the Indian restaurant. After an hour and a quarter wait, our food started to arrive, but the waiters kept asking us if we all had our food - which we didn't. Finally after an hour and a half we all had our food...
The meal was good, but the wait was intolerable. The waiters didn't seem to know what was going on, or who had ordered what or which table...
g.Food was ok and staff friendly but service is slow and the place needs desperately decorating. Very shabby inside.
N. H.First time visit today with 2 friends. Fab food, reasonable prices, great service and a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The Indian food is to die for and they also do a take-away or delivery service. No doubt in my mind I'll be going back.

S. F.We checked the website and the pub was supposed to serve traditional British food. The surprise was that when we got in, the place has become an Indian restaurant. We had the buffet, which was cheap and tasty. But the website really needs to be updated
