MMM...TASTY! I heard this place has been in business for some years now in Rotherham & its obvious to see why.. Super friendly staff, quick, efficient at serving and most importantly acknowledged that you as a queuing customer actually exist! Shop is an absolute delight. Very clean, VERY busy. Beautifully cooked tasty food (the fish is excellent) All priced well for the area. A must go-to place for the area. A big thumbs up and 5 stars!

This was my local chippy growing up and I have yet to come across another fish and chip shop that comes close to how tasty the food is. Perhaps I'm biased, but I think the sheer popularity of this place every lunch and tea time should speak for itself. The prices are very reasonable, there are plenty of things to choose from and the portions are great. The staff have always been friendly throughout the years and still continue to be today. Every time I come to Rotherham I make sure to have at least one stop at Davians for my tea.

Bank Holiday Monday tea time, small queue, great choice, very friendly service, really fair priced food, battered fish and chips and mushy peas absolutely delicious, my neighbour loved her scallop fish cake. Was glad I didn't just pass by.

I have used Davians for last 5 years and now it's gone down the hill. Lunch time special is now £5.95 and the box is very small with a small fish and hardly any chips. Fish & chips quality has gone down at Davians now. Very expensive for the portion you get now. Prices are going up regularly.

I never usually get filled up easily on a chippy, but my days, this place has a meal for under £5 that gives you mixed kebab, chips and any sauce in a tray and they fill it to the brim! No wonder this place gets packed so quickly. Even though it's packed, the store are super quick and nice.

Nice queuing system in place which is good to see. Staff asked people to wait outside if they had come with someone else and were not ordering, again, good to see. Fish is always very fresh and tastes lovely! Never had a bad meal from here.

Good service as usual. After a while I decided to have Davians again the other day. Again, the chips quality is not as good as it used to be. For quite some time the chips are not the same anymore. The significant price increase was quite off putting. I understand that the cost living has gone up, but this was a fair bit more expensive than what I'm used to for a chippy. Quite reluctant to go again due to price increases.

Best chip shop in area by far. Good always hot and freshly cooked. Nevet empty so nothing stays sitting on the hit place for long. I live 5 miles away and still visit this one as it's the best.

I've knocked a star off because parking close to it is a nightmare, but it's well worth the effort. Superb fish and chips, the fact it's full tells you a lot.

A cracking little chippy serving locals and the wider area, well the food is spot on offer great meals at affordable prices the staff are great with a friendly happy service. I go to this place often as compared to all other chippis I've tried its by far the best in my opinion.

A bit hit and miss this place....sometimes the fish and chips are out of this world from this place...but recently more often than not the food is a lot to be desired...fish and chips were just a blob of grease...the kebab l had from there the week before were just as bad... Like l said catch this place on the right night and right time then your in for a proper treat...catch it any other time and your left with the horrible taste of disappointment in your mouth..
