Reviews of Coriander Lounge Indian Restaurant

To be honest, the best Indian restaurant in Southampton. They are always busy better to reserve in advance. If you love curry and spicy food this is your place. Food might take some time to come but the wait is worth it when you have the first taste.

Took my family out for an Indian meal. Good portions, delicious food pleasant staff. Unfortunately the aircon was a bit to high. They did turn it off for a while as I was going home to get a cardigan.

The restaurant was super busy when we arrived which we think is always a good sign. The service was friendly and attentive. They cared we were having a good time. The food itself was first class. We come from Manchester and are spoilt with some amazing Indian restaurants on our doorstep. The Coriander Lounge could easily hold its own against those. The food was superb. We loved it and can highly recommend this place if you love Indian food.

Excellent food, very extensive menu with many styles of Indian cuisine. I consider myself a connoisseur of Indian food and this is really good. We started with lamb tikka followed by Coriander Chicken and Lamb Chettinad with mushroom fried rice and chappati. Nice, cozy atmosphere. One knock is staff is very robotic and not interactive. This is my second visit (first time was 5 years ago). Definitely worth going. Make a reservation and it gets busier as night goes on.

Absolutely amazing food with considerate staff and a positively busy environment. Lots of delicious options for vegetarians. Definitely popular for a reason and worth a visit!

This place is really nice, been several times now, it does take an effort to get a smile out of the staff, but the warm up to you, food is a slow to come out but then again the place is super busy with eat in & take away. only managed pic of desserts right at the end, was too hungry until then.

Absolutely brilliant service and amazingly tasty food. In a warm welcoming atmosphere will definitely be back!!

Excellent food spoiled by the staff's desperation to get us finished and out.
The food was truly excellent. Really something special. I've eaten here before and it's always good. However...
Short of shouting "Eat up and get out!" the staff couldn't have made it any clearer that they just wanted us to hoover up the food and leave. I still had food in my mouth when they took my starter plate away. They were just the same for the main course; as I put down my cutlery they swooped in. We felt harried. I understand the need to turn customers but this was ridiculous.
Good food is important but so is having the time to enjoy it.

Amazing restaurant, we were recommended by many people and were not disappointed. Every single dish was absolutely delicious!! We live in Edinburgh but may need to make many visits to Southampton for this restaurant alone!! Sorry we don't have any pictures! Just wanted to eat!!
