Dined first time at this restaurant and it was an overall positive experience. Food was all freshly prepared, authentic and prices are very reasonable. Service was good and food served quickly. There’s outdoor unique dinning rooms, a small garden and parking available at the back of the restaurant.

Service: 4 out of 5. They were great, quite fast when serving, but not as attentive after food have been served. We order a fair amount and dishes were not taken away once finished. But it is partly our fault for ordering way too much! Food: outstanding 5 out of 5. I have been to a fair amount of Chinese restaurant, from Chinatown to all the little part of London, and many others in smaller towns. But this is as authentic as you can ask for. Some dishes are ultra spicy so beware. Atmosphere: you can probably book a garden booth, I haven't try but pretty sure you can ask for that if you want some cold air. As for inside, it was nice and airy, have a nice and chillax vibe to it. Price: for the location, presentation, variety and quality of food, it would be considered a fair price. I will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu!

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and courteous staff. I went with a group of eleven and despite one mix-up everything went smoothly and the entire party had a great time. The food was wonderful. Everyone at the table was impressed at the taste and quality of the food. The only drawback (which demoted the review to four stars) was that members of our party were vegetarian and there were very few vegetarian items on the menu, and those vegetarian items are not well marked. In fact one person ordered what they thought was a vegetarian dish to share but it had ground beef in it.

Absolutely amazing Sichuan cuisine ! Great variety of dishes , with some real regional specialities in there. Portion sizes are huge so definitely have a light lunch 😃 I am coming back here to try their dry hot pots.

Met up for lunch with friends and sat at a shaded garden table. I prefer starters to mains so had chicken satay, seaweed, ribs, sesame prawn toast. I sampled a friends king prawn curry and rice. Food plentiful and lovely. Be aware they add on 15% for service. Would go again.

We ordered 3 meals and they tasted sooo good. The restaurant's indoor part looks like a standard chinese restaurant, and the outdoor part is really nice. They have koi fish pond. During this pandemic time, it will be good if we can enjoy good meals outdoor (of course as long as supported by the weather). I definitely will come back again..

The food, the service and atmosphere were perfect. We throughly enjoyed our evening. We came half an hour earlier after our day out. We rang to the restaurant and they didn't have problem with it. Great ambience and you really feel authentic in this restaurant. Food is amazing as well and i would definitely reccomend their chou mien which was heavenly. It is a little on the pricey side but worth the meal there. Rice portions are humongous though so if you have a group of 4, ordering for 3 would be enough. Toilets are clean and overall well stocked!

This place is an amazing find. Two menus. One consisting of food you may expect to find at a Chinese restaurant and the second containing more authentic dishes with pictures in case you're a little unsure. Everything we had was delicious and the waiter was very friendly and polite. What makes this place stand out is the level of service and attention to detail. It's beautiful inside and the garden is quite astounding. Clearly a labour of love for the owners. Definitely worth a visit even if you're remotely close to the area.

Authentic Chinese takeaway. This is like no Chinese food I’ve eaten in the Uk, so don’t expect the normal menu. The fried beef was delicious. Noodles are fresh and good value for the size of portion. Order on hungry panda for £5 sign up bonus off first offer as well as 10% off.

Been lucky enough to eat at this restaurant twice this week. What a find this place is, the broad frontage is attractive enough to catch the eye and entice you in, but the garden is the real gem of this great restaurant. It has been layed out to artificial grass pathways leading to gazebos and a yurt providing plenty of outside eating area with heaters keep you warm. My first visit was with my daughter in a lovely garden gazebo by the elephant fountain. Such a pretty spot. The menu is extensive with plenty of fish and meat options options including some more unusual choices of frogs legs. The staff are attentive and there just when you need something. We visited again on a friday with a group of family and friends and again the service and food were faultless. Portions are generous and plentiful. And if you over order you can take the lefotovers gome. You really feel like you have been treated to a special evening. Looking forward to going back.

We've eaten in a lot of really excellent Chinese restaurants including many in London and in various parts of China, this restaurant is right up there with the best of them. The menu has a full 'Western' and/or Cantonese menu, and a really extensive authentic Chinese menu, in English with pictures, for dishes from various Chinese regional cuisines such as Sichuan, Hunan and Shaanxi. The portions are large without being ridiculous, the prices are very reasonable, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, and the service is very friendly and professional. The final selling point is the large garden area at the back of the restaurant. Rain or shine you can sit outside under small tents (including a yurt!). Many of the tents house only one table (for small or large groups), and in the tents with multiple covers the tables are well distanced from each other. The outside area feels nicer than it looks from pictures, it's very peaceful, and there's a nice atmosphere with a small water feature trickling away in the background. 10/10, an amazing lunch. We'll definitely be back!!

Thought I had managed to book a table when other restaurants were full but when we got there they explained they were fully booked and google had not updated this as I booked the night beforehand after they had closed. Luckily for us though they managed to fit us in despite them being busy because of the eat in to help out. We chose a set meal but preferred the set meal for 3 rather than the two they had set so they let us take one dish off and paid a little bit extra to get the set meals we preferred. We really enjoyed the food here and we definitely will be coming back in future. My partner proposed to me and he even had them play some music of his choice for this. We didn't catch any names but all staff were friendly and even congratulated us on our engagement. We had quite a lot of food left over as our eyes were bigger than our stomachs when we ordered and they even provided take away tubs so we could take this home. We had completely forgotten about the eat out to help out and had actually just come back from Margate where all restaurants were fully booked because of this so restaurant really helped us out. They were very accomadating, friendly and the atmosphere was really good.

This is by far one of the nicest, friendliest, most welcoming restaurants i have ever been too. I have been now two consecutive nights with my partner and I have got to say, I am utterly impressed by both the service and the food. The garden boasts impressive water features, a little bridge over a koi/goldfish pond. It has a wide variety of plants surrounding the garden. Private little gazebos for each individual party with heat lamps, heat mats built into the table to keep your food warm and its just stunning. Believe me, I rarely write reviews but this restaurant deserves all the backing it can get. Please, if you fancy a Chinese, get down here and experience a tiny piece of Asia. Everything is perfect right down to the low key music humming in your ear whilst you chat away. Lovely place, lovely staff, a million and one food options for everybodies dietary requirements. If I could give more than 5 stars. I would. 100% reccomend to all. Thank you Garden Restaurant!

honestly cannot stress enough how lovely and welcoming they where tonight, and no rushing us even though they was busy with the Chinese new year! The food was absolutely amazing and the service and everyone was so great, especially a lady called Mrs Feng who was incredible with our 7 month old daughter walking her around the restraunt and giving her chopped cucumber for her to eat! Being a westerner it’s comforting to know that my Chinese wife thinks the food is pretty authentic. The very helpful staff showed us to a seat and we proceded to order from a very comprehensive menu. The food arrived shortly afterwards and was really good.
