Great value doner and shish kebabs with lots of fresh salad. Lots of tasty chicken and I’ve not seen a bigger kebab for less than £7.

Used to be really lovely home made large pittas now the food has gone down hill it is completely different just cheap ingredients and not cooked well. We had items missing from the order. Shame as I really enjoyed the food here but I wouldn’t return

First time we've tried them, WON'T be the last. Chicken shish was perfectly cooked, as we're the chips. Loved being able to ask for sauce on the side. Pitas were lovely and ploofy. There was even an option for a vegan (chips and salad pita). Absolutely brilliant thank you.

Excellent food as always. My son and I just ate here tonight. He had the sea bass which he said was out of this world and I had the lamb shish which was delicious. The bread is just so good too and we both had the lovely soup which is perfect for this weather.

The best place to eat in Southampton!! Not just your average kebab shop. Delicious authentic Kurdish food and the fresh bread is amazing! Wonderful, friendly staff. A definite gem in the city!

Just read that Just Eat costs the restaurant money so I'll be ordering directly in future. Amazing kebabs. Shishes aren't cooked on a metal surface, they're cooked over coals. This really adds to the tender, juicy texture of the meat. I always get a chicken shish. Best kebabs in the city.

You get your standard kebab shops, and then you very occasionally find a place like this. A genuinely decent place to eat in or take away. The food was fresh and flavoursome, cooked perfectly and a decent selection to choose from - including a variety for vegetarians. It's a little like a diner, comfortable booth-style seating and a relaxed and friendly team. Unfussy, but nicely done up. Clean and tidy, organised and uncluttered. We were served a complimentary soup to start, our meal was then served on a large plate to share with bread/dips on the side. Salad was crisp, the shish was well seasoned and tender. A meal for two (as per menu) was more than enough to feed two of us with pretty decent appetites, costing a mere £20. We must have arrived just at closing time, by the time we'd finished eating, we realised it was 45 minutes after closing. We weren't disturbed at all, the staff seemed happy for us to be there. I wouldn't usually rate a kebab shop because there are so many around but this place really stands out from the rest

Absolutely Superb. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+++ We visited Grill House Friday 3rd July 2018 and received the warmest welcome, we have known, of anywhere we have been in the UK. We cannot rate this place highly enough. All of the staff are friendly. The manager most hospitable. And the food is of the highest quality, freshly prepared before your eyes in the cleanest of restaurants. Suzie had Chicken shish and i had the Iraqi shish. We recommend both. We also visited Grill House on Friday 27th July,during lunchtime, so I am able to also recommend the Lamb shish. Suzie had Chicken shish on this occasion also. If you are in Shirley, Southampton be sure to not miss the opportunity to go here. Thanks to Grill House and it's staff.
