J. K. R.Lovely food at this place, a friendly atmosphere and clean. You must remember to call it Jacq's with a slight French accent and not "Jacks" as the owner gets upset about this. Only the other day I was discussing the Queen of the Iceni and the owner was offended as I said Boo-di-ca and he said it should be said bow-de-see-a, any way a right kerfuffle ensued resulting in me running from the shop while the owner shouted at me that I was a "Roman apologist" and I should "get back to my legion" what ever that means.
S. G.Love this place, staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is always great. There's a wide range of food on offer for lunch at competitive prices to other sandwich shops in the area. They also sell a variety of chocolate bar cakes and delicious milkshakes. Jacq's is a lovely cafe where we always feel welcome, highly recommend
