Discovered last week. Perfect little café to get a quick bite and coffee. Cooked fresh, good value, great food. Manager and staff very friendly and helpful. I'll certainly be visiting again when I'm working in the area. Visited again and consistently good. Tried the tea today and that was good. Difficult to get good tea out I find.

Other half and I went in for some amazing food . I had the inclusive breakfast and missus had omelette and jacket potato. Very nice .also ordered coffee .which was great so we ordered two more .can't recommend enough, was great!!

I went in with friends, their treat. I only had a sandwich they had full breakfasts that looked pretty good. We were served quickly and I can't deny it was good to be served all the way through rather than having to go to the till and order then go back to your seat. Our waitress was lovely and polite. Overall I would recommend Poppins but remember that other people may have different experiences.

Brilliant value for money, both me and the girlfriend had some really nice breakfast before our day out with some top quality homely cooking. The service was presented quickly and with a genuine smile that made us both feel welcomed. And was happy to tip the extra they all deserved when it came to paying at the end. I didn't manage to try the desserts on offer but I must say, they looked more than appetising. I will definitely be back again for another pop in visit when I'm next in the area.

We go there once a week on our shopping day and we are always looking forwards to our lunch !! The food is simple but well prepared and plentiful, the place is very clean and homely. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful, they really look after their customers , that is why a lot of customers are coming back regularly which gives the cafe a family atmosphere.

Usually come around for "breakfast" around noon (LOL) and it's still available :P Plenty of food on your plate for your money, not once have I had any issues with my order (altough their toast sometimes is super heavy due to the amount of oil on it), but you can always just get butter toast or normal toast and it's sorted. Went before, going frequently and shall continue doing so :)
