I live in London and I have been to a fair bit amount of fish and ship shops to eat and I can honestly say this one is by far the best. The meat, the fish and the chips are amazing. Waiting time is almost none. Every time I come down to Southampton I eat here. Defenitly recomend. Staff are also awesome👍

Free parking right outside makes access convenient. Ordering chips, mushy peas and jumbo sausage in batter was quick and easy. The chips were great, the sausage was tasty and well seasoned while the mushy peas we perfect for dipping the chips in. Good value for money, will use again.

Starfish Bar is the best fish & chips shop here in Southampton. We order in advance and collect for over 30 ladies at Thorners. The staff are so friendly and polite. Everything is wrapped up in s polystyrene container then wrapped in paper. We get back with our order and our ladies have a hot meal everyone happy. Massive portion,fish is cooked perfectly. These guys definitely know what they are doing, very clean chippy, staff are amazing and i have finally found a good reliable chippy. Defo be going back again & again & again. 5***** chippy.
