Delicious seafood, lobster, oysters, sea bass, with special sauces cooked in Chinese way. Spicy beef and green onion chicken tasted very nice. All are perfect!

The food was very tasty and deserves 4 stars, but the service was extremely slow to bring out the food, as well as the water and Chinese tea. The chicken with chilies was very tasty, and truly not spicy, but I would have much preferred boneless chicken. I did not like biting into small pieces of bone and having to spit them out.

This restaurant is not afraid to use chilies and strong spices (it's Sichuan food after all), unlike most Western-influenced Chinese restaurants, which is why I am a regular. I lived in China for a couple of years and when I get my cravings for spicy Sichuan food I come here. Their dry hotpot is just superb (especially if you like mala and chili). I would 100% recommend to any Sichuan food lovers!

5 star for the hotpot ! The red one is spicy but not crazy hot, full of fragrance from species! The dipping sauce also good. Staff super friendly, great survive. We'll come back for Sichuan dishes next time !

Good authentic Chinese food being served here. Anyone not used to be authentic Chinese food be warned that food will have a lot of bones and can be often be quite spicy. Service can be a bit slow at time and staff can be a bit ditsy. Manager also seems quite eager for customers to leave as soon as you have finished your meal and not allow you to enjoy a drink afterwards.

Genuinely really tasty food. My partner and I both had version's of the spicy noodle soups and also the fried dumplings and they were lovely. There was also a wide variety of intresting things on the menu such as frogs legs, trotters and the like, not often found at other restaurants making this place rather special. The staff are very polite and the restaurant clean and simple decor. The food was served relatively quickly and order taken as soon as we were ready. The place looks like nothing much from the outside as you just see a sign and some stairs but don't be alarmed a very yummy restaurant awaits you upstairs.

Literally cannot find anything to fault. We tried the 'stir fried chicken noodles', 'fried squid with salt and pepper' and 'Deep fried chicken dumplings'. They were some of the best authentic dishes i have tasted. They provided us forks without asking which was appreciated as we were not very comfortable with chopsticks. I could see however that some of the other restaurant patrons had been given forks so it was good insight on the waitress' part. Pros: Great quality and quantity Fast service Helpful servers Reasonable prices Overall value for money Cons: None that I could find.

Fantastic service from the moment we arrived. The food, well that was in another league on its own. The best Chinese food I have ever tasted, with it being fresh and made to order. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, living or visiting.

Authentic Sichuan food, probably one of the best in UK. Tried the grilled fish, stir fried whelk, stir fried lamb, stir fried potato and a lamb dish. Prices very reasonable. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Very good food, very tasty. Good portions. Just found difficult the language barrier with the waitress and the food we have had for starter was very spicy. But that is just maybe a problem for me because I don't like spicy food. Recommend and we will repeat the experience.

If you expect 'western-style' table service you'll be disappointed. If you need a waitress, you need to physically catch their attention. Then they'll attend to you! I went as a group which included one actual Chinese person and she caught the servers' attention whenever needed so that we were never rushed by them but got attention when we wanted it. Also, it's best to order food to share as a group which then comes out over a course of about 10 minutes. Dig in! The food is absolutely delicious, although the menu is a bit weirdly translated so probably best to avoid if you have any serious dietary requirements. Our table just had fish and veggie dishes so can't comment on meat. The whole place is full of Chinese people which means the food is definitely authentic- it's my Chinese friend's favourite place in Southampton! I think if she didn't explain how Chinese eating works (grabbing servers, all courses/dishes at once, no table clearing until you leave) I would have had a terrible time, but as it was it was a really memorable evening! There was a 10% discount for paying cash.

Best oriental restaurant in the town with many choices for meat eaters to vegetarians. Various dishes to hotpot buffet and charcoal grills. Skilled chefs with friendly waiters ready to assist. Food at great tastes and off street parking £1 per hour near by.

Really fun place... We just popped into have a quick snack before our ferry.... Really nice food, service a bit slow.... But can't wait to go back with a few friends, because they do this fondue type menu that you join in... Loads of people there enjoying these hot pot type meals. A lot of Chinese customers too, which is always a good sign.... Really looking to going here again.... Oh and very reasonably priced too...
