TGI"s is always good for a party size group and it always seems that no size party is too big a party for TGI's on any night if the week. The food at the Fareham branch was great, big thanks to the chef that night they were doing a great job, although I would prefer them to return to the smaller chicken wings and not the supersized one's they had that night. Service from some of the staff was above and beyond particularly Maddie and Tilly (I think that was her name) I'm not sure I've had better service in any other restaurant, they did a fab job, very attentive and polite and thank god for them because our welcome at the door was far from what I was expecting, I came very close to leaving, maybe a bit more training on how to meet and greet is needed for that member of staff, I couldn't see their name properly. Despite the poor welcome at the door I will probably return another time.

Great meal, good service, decent prices. Only criticism was we had to eat at the bar (which to be fair, we didn't really mind) because they had taken their last walk in for the evening when we arrived (7:30pm) so make sure you book a table to avoid missing out! Still a very enjoyable meal regardless!

Great food as with any TGI you visit and again as with every TGI I have been to the staff were great (and fun). Love this place, though it’s pretty unhealthy (but delicious) food so I don’t get to go here too often.

We went around 2pm for dinner and we wanted to sit outside as it was a nice day. I'm a paraplegic so I sat at the table whilst my partner got menus etc. She waited at the door to be seen and about 10mins later she came out and said they've literally only just acknowledged her and she was gonna give up and go elsewhere. However we stayed and ordered the sharing platter for starter and burger and sesame fried chicken. So apart from bad service to begin with couldn't fault the rest food was fantastic, hot well presented and with good taste. Would highly recommend the sharing starter platter.

Delicious chicken fillets and one of the best burgers I've tasted. Hilary was especially attentive as I had forgotten my glasses and she took the time to read out some of the menu. Lovely atmosphere too.

It's a mixed tale. We arrived super hungry and the staff were really good at getting us seated. The order was taken quickly and we had a great rapour with our server. However, if there are delays on food tell the customer! 50 minutes for the food (4 of us) and I had the Texan which was very well cooked and presented, but not hot.. I wanted the experience to justify the cost as its not cheap, but I fear I caught them on an off day...

It is quite some time since we last ate at a TGI Fridays - but still enjoyed our meals. It was a Sunday evening and was busy with families with young children (so a little noisy). The Service was very good, friendly and helpful. Will go back sooner next time.

Fabulous meal this evening. Far better service, atmosphere and food quality here compared to the Southampton Friday's branches. Which recently have been disappointing. Look after by lily this evening who was extremely friendly and attentive. And so accomodating with special requests for the food! Had a wonderful experience 🎉🎉🎉

Service was very good however the product of a Bottomless Brunch for £30 is a scam. The selection of drinks is bottomless for 90 minutes but you only get 3 small plates of food to share between 2. If you can drink weak larger fast, go for it, otherwise buy from the main menu! Overall I felt out of pocket and still hungry for £30 pp.

Wife comes here a lot, and the experience can either be great or not good, very dependable on the staff they have on at the time. But You will always have a great experience if you get the waitstaff who goes by the name Rachel, just on top of everything and the reason we come back regularly.

Poor food. TgI burger use to be a great go to for a meal. Today the burger was possibly the blanket poorest burger I've had. Tasteless. £240 for a party of 8. Waste of money. Never again.

Food brilliant, drinks very poor. Had a pleasant evening here and dined from the Monday to Thursday (excluding bank holiday) menu. Two of us dined for £10.99 and two for £13.99. My starter of potato skins was crispy and we'll seasoned and my burger for main was very nice. The 'Fridays' mayo really making it. Where the experience lacked was with the overly busy servers and lack of fizz in the drinks. Twice these had to be fully replaced due to no carbonation and they take an age to come in the first place, filled with 90% ice (slight exaggeration) At £3.30 a refillable glass I was very disappointed. It's time for TGIs to think about self filled drinks stations in my opinion.

Usually we love TGIs but on this occasion not so much. We were waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes for our starter, then our main came out whilst we were eating our starter. We waited a further 30 minutes to have our table cleared, at which point we ordered one pudding (ice cream) for our son. After 20 minutes it hadn't arrived, and the hostess told us (rudely) we had 15 minutes to leave. We cancelled the ice cream and left.

Great tasting food and the staff were absolutely fine. It just feels too expensive for what you get. The only low calorie soft drink is coke zero. Would be nice to have a choice of some other low calorie or low sugar drinks like sprite, 7 up or Fanta. BBQ sauce on my ribs was sparse to say the least. Why not have more available in a bottle on the table? Feels ridiculous to have to ask and then be presented with yet another thimble of sauce. Still enjoyed it though.

Always enjoyed going to TGI's, although this time it wasn't the best, a tuesday evening, not very busy- Service was slow. And no real explanation as to why? 50 minutes for our drinks to come (one of them was a coke so nothing fancy) The food was alright, but again sides and sauces came 15/20mins after food was brought to the table, so that was a bit pointless and no explanation on the delay. Was it short staffed? Didn't look it, were people new? Maybe... Normally we would have a pudding but this time we just wanted to leave. We will be back but we won't be in a rush to return.

We ate at TGI's yesterday, the half ribs are not good value for money at £18 each. I told the lady on the desk who said she would tell the manager! You can have full racks elsewhere for less money. Not sure if 5 ribs equal half. Very disappointed.

I love going to this TGI's. It's been around since I was a young'un and always used to be banging on weekend eves. Slightly different experience for us these days, we go for the same quality food we've always gone for, just considerably less alcohol and social interaction. Staff are always friendly, even when they're under stress BUT they do have a terrible habit of packing everyone into one area when they're quieter, so it's easier to staff but that actually tends to spoil the ambience; when youre hearing every conversation and banging chairs with the person behind.... People who go for a meal at the quieter times do so for a reason and its normally to not be packed like a sardine. This is the reason I have taken away a star.

Went for my birthday last night, when we arrived I had a birthday card on the table and balloons which was so sweet and really made my night. Our server was absolutely brilliant, unfortunately I didnt catch her name, but she really made the night. The food was brilliant and the cocktails too. Overall a really good night made better by the lovely staff.

Pretty standard chain fare - although higher end perhaps - prices are slightly higher than other chains perhaps. You know what you are getting. Always friendly. Its quite loud - which is handy if you have young kids and worried the noise of your table might disturb others (based on the last two times we were there, no danger of that!). Also they take the whole gluten free thing very seriously - which is handy if anyone in your party has food intolerance.

Little bit difficult to get too when your not familiar with where the entrance is. Food is good, staff for the most part is very lovely, great atmosphere, price is reasonable but be prepared to spend some money, its not overly expensive but i think it's fair for the quality of food which is really good!

We had a meal at TGI Fridays yesterday 17/8/21. The food was excellent and service exemplary. Food for 6 of us came out at the same time with at least 10 sides. Tip, don't book too early on a week day as it doesn't get busy until after 6.30pm adding to the American burger bar atmosphere.

Not having eaten out for nearly a year, was not sure what to expect. Our server, Molly Mae, was so pleasant and efficient that everything was simple and easy. The starters, mozzarella sticks and shrimp were hot and delicious. The mains: vegan burger was filling and really tasty with the ultimate ribs being tender and juicy. A really nice meal, served by a charming person.

I highly recommend the TGI Fridays Ribs here, one of the best rack of ribs you can get in this country, and its worth every penny! It practically falls off the bone and is chock full of flavour with a fantastic glaze courtesy of Jack Daniels Bourbon Whiskey. I have tried many things on their menu, but the ribs is always something I come back to and alongside a side of chicken or nachos! There are great cocktails in this restaurant chain as well!

We double checked when we got to the car that everything was there but an item was missing so had to go back and say it wasn't in the bag. I visited three times on three days. Consistently very sticky each visit. When eating with my parents they noticed that their hands felt sticky before their food had even arrived. The seating was comfortable throughout. The service when I ate with my friends was good, attentive and helpful. The service when I ate with my parents was slow, inept and flat out bad. I ordered the sesame chicken strips with a side of sweet potato fries and no tomato in the salad. It came with tomato in the salad and normal fries. She did replace the fries. My mother's Creamy Cajun pasta with shrimp was a congealed cherry mess with only three prawns in. She was very disappointed. My dad loved the ribs though and said they were nice and tender. The service when I ate alone was non existent. I ordered at the bar and paid them food arrived. Though they were not the sort of service that asked how the food was it did arrive more quickly than in the other sections of the restaurant that we tried. So it's clearly a bit hit and miss here, which is why they don't have five stars.but when they get it right they deserve all of them.

Had to install the app and order and pay through it which was a bit of a faff since we were there and the chap took our order anyway and we could have simply paid. Milkshakes were tasty but too thin. Visited tonight and we had the best experience for many years. We haven't dined out since pre-lockdown and we couldn't have picked a better restaurant. We were welcomed by a lovely woman wearing a mask so showed us to our table. All staff were wearing masks which is really reassuring for anxious customers like ourselves. The social distancing procedures were very well executed with loads of space between tables, team in masks and the team cleaning thoroughly the tables and seats etc. Our server, Dave, was brilliant and a true entertainer who just seems to love who he does. Fantastic visit, thank you Friday's!!

Went here for a birthday gathering. The atmosphere was good and the music wasn't too loud from which I had previously experienced with some other TGI's. Our waitress was very welcoming and was very attentive, friendly and we had some laughs with her which was nice. The food came out within good time and was hot and delicious. Very generous portions and good quality grub. I was slightly dubious when we sat down, as the air-conditioning was on and we seemed to be in the direct path of it. Was this some trickery to make sure we didn't hang about so the restaurant had maximum throughput of customers? Not at all, it wasn't an issue. The menu had some great options and a very good value for money 3 course special for £22, which I opted for, thinking everything was a bit pricey and were small(ish) portions. me again being grumpy: how wrong was I - the portions were generous to the point that dessert was half finished and I felt terribly bloated for the next 24 hours. Eyes bigger than my stomach it seems. We had a great visit and yes, it's a burger joint at heart, but they are jolly, jolly good. 😁

One staff member let it down. The food was really good, some great offers on 2 courses we would go again. The guy how sat us down and served us at the start was awesome, he was really attentive, professional and really nice, then he had to leave due to end of shift and kindly told us that a different staff member will take over, then unfortunately the visit was rubbish. She was not attentive, dropped the adults food at the table and disappeared until arriving with the child's meal and immediately walked away, had to call her back to ask for sauces. After finishing she asked if we wanted dessert, we mentioned the adults had ordered as part of the meal deal but not the child and asked for a menu, she eventually arrived with one and swiftly left again. When she returned she delivered the adults desserts but had not took the order for the child. So we had to wait for the child dessert to arrive. After finishing she immediately gave us the bill and asked for payment. We had hardly had chance to swallow our last mouthful of dessert. The place was not full or busy, just felt like we were pushed out and no care given for the child. Not sure what her problem was.

Visited Friday night with family and I cannot praise our waitress more for her service. She's was attentive to our needs and although quite clearly stressed, I cannot fault her. Came here a few weeks ago and the service could not compete with this visit. I believe her name was Annie, my children were amazed by her pink hair and we enjoyed her quirkiness. Would recommend.

We went to TGI Friday's on the spur of the moment and was greeted with no available tables the lady on the desk was very helpful and found a seat as soon as she could and apologised she couldn't accommodate sooner which was fine. Since TGI Fridays has been open, so that's the 90's, we have never had a bad meal. The food is glorious, delicious. One of my sons has worked there for many years. We have always come back. The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful, especially for birthdays! We have just had one in there today. I wish they brought back the Manhattan wrap though! An absolute pleasure!

I went to TGI Friday’s for a meal with my friend and we sat at the bar. We had perfect service and the woman on the bar served us she came over to me and introduced herself as Grace and offered us service all night. She asked us for drinks and took our food order she was competent with asking if anything was needed and made my drinks and brought my food too me. The best service I could’ve had and I will be returning. Not to mention she had help from the other lady on the bar Amber who also was a big help.

Went to TGI Fridays with my girlfriends family for her 18th and it was a lovely experience. There was a bit of wait for a table but that was to be expected as they were quite busy. We all had starters, mains, desserts and they were all delicious. We were served by a lovely waitress that was always smiling and made the evening that bit better! The highlight was that they had all written a card for my girlfriend wishing her a happy birthday!

Good food, friendly ambient. The location is good for anyone travelling on the m27 motorway, just less than 5min from the junction. Offers a free parking, and indoor and outdoor tables (note: both are non-smokers). A good choice of food, from hamburgers to ribs, but if you want the ribs I'd highly suggest you to get the full one, it looks big, but will be just right. Kids and family friendly, it offers kids menu, and wheelchair/pushchair can easily access the place. Price wise is right, not too high, nor cheap.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and they’ve been consistently good. The waiting staff are always keen to help and very happy bouncy people as you might expect from an American diner. The menu has changed a bit over the time and I preferred the pre-COVID selection. Any rice dish or dish including rice is a bit dry and the Dune Bug cocktail has been watered down a lot since it first appeared on the menu, most likely to keep within food standards but the taste has been impacted. The last steak I ate is why I’m now writing this as it’s always fallen short of expectations. This last time however it reached a new low. It was burnt, I wasn’t asked how I would like it cooked and the Jack D glaze was quite runny. This restaurant is all about the appetisers and if you treat it as that you can enjoy it a lot just avoid the mains.

This place is a little hit and miss unfortunately and is dissapointing compared to the usual TGIs standard, all because of one person. We were greeted by a very pleasant waitor who seated us and took our drinks and main meal orders in a good time. We didn't wait long for our drinks and he was very accomadinti of wxtee request afor straws, ice ect. He then handed us over to a waitress who was taking over his shift as he was finishing for the day and things took a turn. I've never felt so unwelcome as this waitress made us feel. Our meals came out and we're really nice. We can't fault the food whatsoever. The waitress however didn't come back to check if we wanted any more drinks or if the food was OK. We waited ages for our plates to be cleared and then even longer for her to bring a children's dessert menu over. Me and OH had already ordered our deserts as we had the set menu. We had informed her of this and also made it clear we wanted to order a children's dessert also. After handing us the children's menu, she disappeared for around 10 minutes then came back with the 2 adult puddings.... She hadn't even taken the children's order! When I exclaimed, quite surprised, that she hadn't taken our full dessert order, her only response was 'that's ok'. Well no, to us it wasn't. How unfair for our son to sit there waiting another 10 minutes for his dessert while ours was in front of us. Again, she did not offer nor give any opportunity for us to order more drinks which we had wanted to. As soon as we finished our desserts, and I mean litteraly as we swallowed the last mouthful she walked past our table and placed the bill on the table without stopping. We hadn't asked for the bill, she hadn't checked if all was OK with our food nor if we wanted to order anything else. She didn't even stop at the table long enough for us to call her attention. It was quite obvious she was trying to force us out of the restaurant. Thankfully we will have no occasion to run into this waitress again as we only visited this restaurant due to it being next door to our hotel while on a mini family break. We certainly wouldn't return given the option unless we could be guaranteed a different waitress. She really brings the place down and made what would have been an enjoyable experience quite the opposite.

Have always dined here and always will for many reasons, not always the very best food or service but have always listened and compensated and since lockdown they have proven themselves to be well in the game still which would not have been easy, for many reasons!

This review applies to TGI Fridays in general. Kind of expensive, very loud, not much variety in the menu, but the food is prepared well and tastes good enough. Not my first choice, but would probably pick other restaurants first.

we went on a Saturday for my wifes birthday, I have to say im a little disappointed in the quality of our food, the staff were fantastic, very efficient, friendly and helpful, but when I pay £25 for a steak id like it to be of a certain quality, honestly it was very fatty and dry, my frys were a little soggy and generally the feeling round our table of 5 was of disappointment in the food quality, really was a shame as we've been before and the food was brilliant.

I've always found TGI Friday's to be an unusual in that you tend to get a strange mix of children's birthday parties on the tables around the bar, with adults stood around the bar drinking. On the subject of drinking, it is predominantly a cocktail bar, so don't expect a wide selection of beers here.
