Great chips and service but nose mask is not enforced. Someone came in without theirs while I was awaiting my order. The humourous owner said he couldn't force adults to do what is expected of them when I challenged him about it.

First time we have used this fish and chips Shop for our lunch. Chips were fantastic and had a nice amount of crispiness. The medium-sized cod was very generous. We had three portions, and we all felt as though the battle was on the greasy / moist side. The cod was perfectly cooked. Well done overall.

My first visit and what a pleasant experience. Clean and well run with helpful friendly staff the cook your food to order. The cod was exceptional and probably the best I've had in many years. The kebabs and wraps looked awesome and I will be trying them on my next visit. Fully recommend all to try.

Good chips, good burgers but that's all I'd go here for, curry sauce was revolting and the fish had no crunch or crisp, just super soggy, its a pity as the owners are super nice.

My family are chip shop connoisseurs and have visited many chippies in the area with varied results. I have to say that this one is really excellent in every way : Lovely tasty food, a HUGE piece of cod for me and generous portions of succulent chips all round. All this together with value for money prices and friendly, chatty staff. You've just got to try it... It simply can't be faulted!

I've just had an amazing plate of fish and chips from this place. Round the corner from me and never knew. The fish was fresh and delicious. Chips were great and cooked just nicely. Staff were friendly and chatty. Fantastic fish and chips in Shirley! I'll be back.

Good place for a typical fish and chips, UK style. Loved the crispy batter. Fish is white and mild though...as usual in UK, I suppose. Very good sized portion; medium is good for two people. Alas, no place to sit and have it warm then and there. Have visited few times in a month...and will visit more. Nice and friendly owner.
