The surroundings and service are very nice indeed. The menu choice is excellent. The Isaan steak and pla manow were delicious. One disappointment was the Tom Yum Gung..the Tom Yum was thick and creamy, seemingly made with coconut milk, which is unlike how I usually have Tom Yum and wasn't to my taste at all. The liquor coffees were superb.

Wow just wow, what an amazing little restaurant. Our first choice was closed so we came here and it's beautiful, the place was clean and the service was spot on. After being welcomed at the door we were escorted to the table, after we had seated the waiter came with menus and took our drinks order. The food we ordered was beautiful and whole experience brilliant 👍 I won't go on to much but this place will most definitely be on my list of favourite restaurants and 100% definitely going back. Wanted an early dinner on a Saturday night and happened to be passing this place as it was opening. Luckily they had a space as we were there early with no booking. Really cool decor, felt like I was back in Thailand! Food was good, your typical Thai dishes were on the menu but the specials had some of the more unusual dishes. I went with a Lamb Shank curry which was very tasty and was a good sized portion. Very happy with the place, couldn't fault it and would definitely visit again if in the area.

What a wonderful hidden gem. Visited Burton last night and we popped out to Baan Thai as it was a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Lovely decor. Very polite staff. Other diners were nice and quiet. Excellent menu. Lots of choices. Food was superb. Excellent. Flavours were divine. Brilliant portions. Duck in tamarind was off the scale good. Spicy, sour, sweet.... An explosion of flavours. Sweet and sour chicken was for the partner. She hadn't tried Thai before and was worried about the spice. But she wolfed down her food. Testament to the flavours. The Thai green curry was delicious. Creamy coconut with perfect chili heat. Coriander shone through. Delightful on the sticky rice. And a very good Chardonnay, perfectly chilled. Service was perfect. The young man was the perfect host. Well done Baan Thai. The best Thai restaurant I have ever been to and I've tried most in London and southeast England. This place deserves an award.

Went with my Thai wife for dinner. Nice Thai style decor, very clean, nice ambience and friendly staff. Plenty to choose on menu and not long to wait for food. Unfortunately food did disappoint somewhat, wasn't the authentic Thai taste we were expecting but having lived in Thailand for 12 years, maybe we had too high expectations. Food was delicious. I love Thai food and this restaurant did not disappoint. Staff were attentive. When I entered they approached right away and sat me to a table. When I was ready to order I was not left waiting. Food was ready in a timely manner (a starter and a main) and when I was done the table was cleared promptly. Upon asking for the bill I was not left waiting. Can't really ask for a better, more efficient and professional service. The gentleman waiting my table seemed friendly and approachable. Food tasted fresh and was beautifully presented The starter was a generous portion, at least three times what I was expecting. My thanks to the staff here.

Lovely authentic Thai lunch! A friend brought me here as she’s a regular visitor. We had the express lunch- green curry and rice- there was a lot of choice. Lovely restaurant, always enjoy my meals here. The two course lunch menu is an absolute bargain at £7.95, fully recommend the ribs! Pretty chilled place, lots of plants, friendly and fast service. You have to pay for the car park over the road but you can park for free in town and walk for 5 mins. Can't fault it really, great food, value, service and decor.

A busy restaurant is always a good sign even if the wait is a bit longer than expected for the main course. Let me assure you though it is well worth it. Friendly staff great ambience and AMAZING FOOD👍 the starters come fairly quick and as long as you don't run out off anecdotes you won't get bored. There are few Thai restaurants that on my opinion measure against this one. Highly recommended.

Smashing. Really good selection of dishes, and definitely something to suit plenty of vegetarians like myself. (Often there are few dishes to choose from, so it's nice to have a varied choice.) The service is polite and swift. The food itself is quality. They can adjust the level of spice but just take it as it comes! What are you made of?! I also heard a lady ask that two curries have no vegetables and just leave chicken in the sauce! What sort of monster leaves out the good stuff?! FFS. But hey! The waiter was only happy to adhere to the request.
