Finally a proper Chinese Chinese style. Really taste and the takeaway is spotless. The box of noodles is a regular. The 2 plates of noodles was a small. They are big portions. I love a Chinese that gives you chopsticks.

Some time ago after ordering from HCK I wrote a huge review about my experience, but I accidentally got I deleted, so I ended up leaving only the stars... but tonight I got the cutest reply and I had to take few minutes of my time to rewrite my review. Me and my boyfriend had our favorite Chinese place in Derby. We kept looking for one in Burton, but nothing was even tolerable, until these guys.... It starts off with the picture: the Chinese food the way you want it - in paper boxes. Then it follows to products: huge variety of choices for an amazing value. You can choose AS MANY AS YOU WANT for your box toppings. The sizes are exactly as they should be: if you want a small, you actually get a small for a hungry person😁 medium was enough for me for 1,5 times👍 and, obviously, the flavour: exactly what I've been looking. Food was cooked to perfection and I could tell it was made with love! Now about the staff: as we walked in all of the staff said hello and made some kind of contact with us. Person on the till was very helpful with making the right choice and was honest about crossovers that they felt were not made for each other (I have weird taste, so I asked for something unusual). Food was done very quickly and was piping hot till we got home and we had a short stop at the supermarket. I guess what I'm trying to say - thus place is amazing and I recommend it 100%

These guys redefine the term fast-food. Macdonald's got nothing on them... if you like Chinese food that's even more true! The food is good, fast, decently priced and the place is clean. The only thing that gets me, and it's an issue that ALL fast-foods do, ask for extra sometime and you just doget it. Let's be specific: ask for more egg in the fried rice and lesve me a reply if you get it! But don't challenge them, just impromptu.... 4 stars for that, o mean -1star for it :)) By the way, when they say spicy... it's FU$&!* spicy, don't think it's a joke!

Another geordie trucker food review.... came across this gem of a place qhen I was running out of driving time found the closest ind est and bosh looks over sees HCK. Quick glance at the menu and I was like right sorted vermicelli noodles chicken. black bean sauce is tremendous and the sheer amount is unreal tasty flavourful absolutley lush side of salt and chilli chips perfect highly recomend this placq will definitely go again when ever I'm in burton and get a chance ... awesome

Food was very tasty, portions were very generous and excellent value for money. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the wife and I found it a little bit salty but that could have been the sauces we chose. Will definitely return to try some other flavours being cooked fresh right in front of us!
