When I entered the building I was greeted with a very warm welcome, the service was quick and efficient. The food was hot and presented really well and the chefs were very polite and well dressed.

Understandably due to it being a new restaurant, there will be some learning curves but staff dealt with each problem very professionally and was very efficient. Turkish/Asian Cuisine is not for everyone which is why I was a bit unsure after seeing the reviews but still took the chance and decided to go; the food was amazing, spices on point! Thank you for the service and great food, so happy that we have a HALAL restaurant in Stoke with a variety of food!

Food was amazing. We were sadly the only ones in the restaurant at the time. Online deliveries were being collected so guess they are doing OK business. Lamb Shish and Turkish Meatballs served up which were excellent. No alcohol served here and also beware, could be cash only as issues with card machines. So much potential!

After looking at some of the reviews….. I nearly gave this place a miss! However after seeing it all with my own eyes…. I’m glad I went!! Me and my wife had some cheeky loaded fries to start off, followed by a huge Tava for 2! Which was amazing! Food cooked beautifully and served within a prompt manner! People really need to give this place a chance to get things right, I visited on day 3 of being open… according to the sentinel! And it was a fantastic experience and me and my wife cannot wait for our next date night….

I was there tonight with my family after seen all review Food was brilliant especially kids meal (bargain). Then chef came to our table asking about our meal. Lamb steak was great. Only we had a problem with pay because I wanted to pay card but I been told my manager politely that they expecting card machine setup tomorrow. Because it’s new business so I understand that. I had to go out for cash. Cash machine cross the road btw.

Food was presented very well but looked nicer than it tasted.... Parts were very nice especially the lamb... We ordered a plate for £30 for 2 people... Looked like a lot of meat but there was lots of bone. Again the lamb was very nice, nan bread felt like it had been microwaved was defo not fresh. Ok experience price is what i would have expected to pay staff knowledge very little but its a new place but they were polite and pleasant. Would give it another go nicer than some places ive been in manchester.

I'm not one to write reviews but after seeing a lot of negative reviews on here I felt I should share my experience. Yesterday evening, me and my family visited the hungry ottoman and upon arrival we were taken to our table by a young waitress who was very polite and told us to order at the bar when I was ready. When i got to the bar I was served by a very helpful gentleman who said his name was Harris. He helped me choose which Mocktail I should go for as I couldn't make my mind up and suggested the clementine mock mojito which tasted amazing. Harris also recommended the Tarva for 2 which was delicious. The waitresses and Harris checked up on my table several times to make sure everything was ok. I definitely will be visiting again and thank you harris for looking after us.

From the moment I walked in every need of mine was catered for even down to my own heater because if how cold it was. Gemma behind the counter is polite and full of knowledge about the menu. I had the salmon maki sushi to start and it is the best sushi I've had in stoke on trent it puts miso to shame. The steak was a great cut of meat cooked to perfection so all in all from Gemma behind the counter through to chef coming out to me for a personal opinion on the food. The hungry itterman is a definite recommendation for all occasions

Had a lovely evening at this Restaurant, ordered the Beef Burger and it was well tasty, it felt more personalised to me an my friend by the chef personally asking us how our meal was and the staff were polite, friendly and attentive, we didn't feel pushed or pressurised to order too quickly, the waiting time for food was also quick and promptly served, everything was cooked to our requirement.
