With a warm welcome and fantastic looking food in the display cabinet, I was looking forward to spending a good hour in here. I appreciate it is a new business but I was left a little frustrated with the size of the coffees and served in a paper cup. I understand the business model and the green approach but you would keep customers for longer with a slightly different option to people wanting to sit in. That is what put me off eating too, as not a fan of eating out of takeaway containers. The Inside Garden was nice, maybe some music upstairs would help with the ambience, as well as some menus. One option to add character would be to work with the art and craft shop up the road and display some of their offerings on the walls - this would drive business for both parties. All in all, a nice cuppa but didn't tempt me to stay and invest further. Good luck to you and hope it goes well.

I absolutely love having this place so local! I pop over often on my work break for a decent takeaway lunch & they never fail! Its always clean and presentable, the staff are very friendly and always remember my order! They’re also dog friendly which is an absolute win in my eyes. It’s been such a great addition having this place in the village, and I’m so grateful to have somewhere so nice to go and get my vegan lunch! Keep up the excellent work guys :)

What an amazing place! Firstly the staff and Georgie herself are so welcoming and friendly, they can’t do enough to help you. The Deli ‘indoor garden’ theme is gorgeous and runs throughout the upstairs seating area which is very peaceful and cosy to stop and eat your takeaway food. The range of food and sweet treats on offer is amazing and Georgie has made sure to cater for all dietary requirements. Thank you Georgie for being so accommodating to all of your customers! I would 100% recommend stopping by if you’re in the area, I know I will be returning!

We had driven a long way and found The Garden Deli open. We were made to feel very welcome and was served with coffee and the best brownies you've ever tasted. The lady who served us was so kind and helpful. The premises was clean and tidy and the food smelled amazing. We will go back there and would heartily recommend it to others.

Lovely little Deli. The staff are so friendly and its fast become my sons favourite place as they have actual cake he can eat without becoming ill. Treated myself to a small salad box and coronation chicken and cheese panini wow absoloute stunning, so stunning I drove the half hour back the next day to get the same again. Apart from the food being so incredibly fresh and tasty just knowing that there is always something for my son to have and that there is no risk of cross contamination as the staff are so thorough even without saying my child has allergies. Side note from my 10 year old. Try the lotus cookie stack it's the best thing in the world and the lemon cupcake oh and the strawberry cupcake and we'll actually everything 😋

Was working in the area and popped in for a lunch takeaway. Glad I did because the produce looked fresh and high quality. Opted for a warm pasta salad box which was delicious and filling. Friendly service and I will be back when in the area again.

Whether you are vegan, celiac or a veggie, you will always find something delicious to eat at the Garden Deli. One of the few places you will visit where you are able to eat 90% of the food on offer, rather than the reverse. Highly recommended, excellent service, very friendly and happy to try and accommodate any dietary requirements.

Finding a safe place to eat when you suffer from allergies is never easy, even more so when you also don’t eat meat, so this wonderful little place really is an oasis of joy in an otherwise frustrating world of disappointments. We discovered the Garden Deli after hearing about it from a friend, so we made the fifteen mile journey with much excitement and expectation, and we were not disappointed. The selection of freshly prepared salads, snacks and treats really is second to none, without doubt the best in the area, all served by friendly, knowledgeable staff who make everyone feel special. The Garden Deli really is a wonderful, all inclusive place, where everyone can enjoy high quality grub, at good prices. Try it yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

The Garden Cafe - this little takeaway deli is a piece of heaven dropped from the sky! Apart from its prettiness - a gorgeously intimate rear courtyard for the fine weather and the beautifully soothing indoor garden space upstairs, this place has something for everyone - if you have food intolerances, it’s the place to be, if you are vegan, it’s the place to be and if you just like good food, it’s the place to be. From breakfast to lunch, to snacks, as a takeaway establishment, there is something for everyone. The salad bar is something else- so many nutrient packed offerings that have me dribbling just thinking of them. A range of teas and coffees and soft drinks- got to love a Purdeys 👍🏻, and some lovely little bits and bobs to buy from the ambient deli section ♥️. And then there’s the cakes, a range of gluten and dairy free offerings and vegan too! The deli also has WiFi so if you wanted to pop along and sit upstairs in the peace and quiet with a lovely coffee and a bite to eat, whilst working at your laptop, this is the place for you. And in fact, I have a feeling the upstairs may be bookable for small gatherings, but best to check. The deli is also dog friendly with the resident cutie Uno (🎼’we don’t talk about Uno, no no-oh, we don’t talk about Uno! 🎵 🎶) It also takes pre-orders so you can pop an order in and pull up in the lay-by outside and if it’s raining, they even bring your order to the car! What’s not to love?! The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Ultimately though, why do I love this place so much? With all that it has to offer, the icing on the cake is Georgie. Effervescent, witty, warm and knowledgeable- so clued up on allergens and cross contamination - it’s such a safe place to eat - Georgie is a ray of sunshine who is always pleased to see customers return and remembers everything about you, so much so, you very quickly feel like you’re popping along to see a friend, such is the wonderful service. So if you’re in the area pay a visit, and if not, it’s worth the journey wherever you are!

This place is a real gem! I have many food intolerances and The Garden Deli caters for them all. There are options for all tastes and a salad bar with an amazing array of items to choose from. And if that isn’t enough the cakes are absolutely delicious. The Deli is spotlessly clean with outside seating and a calming upstairs seating area too. The team are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. I sincerely recommend this place - don’t pass by, go in and see for yourself!

Superb local artisan deli offering a huge choice of “free from” cakes , pastries and savouries. As soon as you walk in I am always spoilt for choice for gluten free products and the smell of fresh salad is so tempting. Different fresh products offered regularly and the staff and owner Georgie are super friendly and well educated on cross contamination. Highly recommend !!

Amazing takeaway Deli to pop into for a coffee or for something to eat. You can sit inside or take away. A wide range of variety of pastries, salad bar, pasta boxes, soup, jacket potatoes with numerous toppings and panninis or baguettes. I often pop in there for lunch and love walking the dog and calling in there as its dog friendly. Great place to go for lunch or a coffee especially in the summer where you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Georgina and her staff are always welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend a visit! :)

Absolutely fantastic little takeaway deli! With Vegan and gluten free options too - very clearly promoted. Can’t go wrong with a salad box and a cheeky flapjack/custard slice on the side. Dog friendly too with the lovely ‘Uno’ often there to greet you. Friendly staff who are very helpful and welcoming.
