On recommendation from a friend went here for breakfast this morning. Had the baby full English with coffee. Very clean premises. Nice staff. Coffee arrived promptly. Breakfast took about 10 mins but was worth the wait. Everything cooked …

I honestly haven't got enough words to tell how great The Walnut is! Absolutely fabulous cocktails and a wide choice of other drinks available, lovely atmosphere and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble for them, I've saved the best until last, the food! I really can't put into words how gorgeous the food is here, the best food I've ever had in my life! There is always a great choice from the menu to choose from, including gluten free options and the desserts are literally to die for! We go to The Walnut every few months and I can't wait for my next visit!

Popped in for coffee and cake while I was in town. The Walnut is a nice, clean place with a relaxed vibe and the lady who greeted me was extremely pleasant. I ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate brownie, both of which were exceptional. The lunch and dinner menus look interesting and I'll definitely be coming back to try them. In short, it's a wonderful place...wish I'd found it years ago!

We had the most wonderful meal at The Walnut last Friday (15th July 2022), food and service was exceptional. Food was out of this world delicious – we said it was the nicest meal we had had in a long time, if not ever! It was absolutely perfect. As strangers in the area exploring Wellington, we were outside The Walnut restaurant looking at the menu when a lady came out and greeted us and warmly welcomed us in. This was a really good start to the feeling. I found it a lovely, interesting place with things on display to catch the eye. The Menu was very good and my husband who can be a fussy-eater, was very happy with his meal as was I. Hospitality and atmosphere were great and if we are in the area again, we'll certainly revisit The Walnut and would recommend it.

Happened to stumble across this place a few months ago and came back tonight to experience the evening. Absolutely lovely atmosphere, good tasty vegan options (which makes a change in this area!). Recommended the vegan cheesecake 😋. Really recommend!!

Food is sooo delicious! Great drinks to pair it with too! The breakfast kedgeree and potato rosti stacks are amazing and the place offers a great atmosphere to enjoy it all. The people here seem amazing
