The place itself is nice, with nice tables and seating. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food itself, was average. We ordered 2 steaks, which were both on the chewey side. A seabass, which was quite a small portion and a carbonara, which didn't really have much flavour. All in all we were disappointed, the decors better than the food. Just about scrapped a 3 star review.

Outstanding service from Alexis and the team! They were able to cater to all of our dietary adjustments and the food was fantastic. All staff were so kind and helpful, if I’m ever back in Telford I would definitely come back here to eat. The restaurant itself also has a great atmosphere it’s cosy and modern with the perfect balance of spaciousness. You are able to have a good conversation with your table without battling music or plates clattering as well as not having the sound carry so you are not disturbing other people.

Very nice restaurant with delicious food. We was a large group, 26 of us so it did take a while to get food and drinks but the staff did an amazing job especially Lexi in looking after us. Would recommend going there just not in a large group like us! 🤣

My husband and I took one of our nieces out for the day on Sunday and decoded to stop by Wildwood for some lunch. The service was fast and friendly, the food was delicious and the restaurant was clean and presentable. If I was to make any criticism it would be the choices on the children's menu. We all know children can be fussy with what they eat, and out niece is no exception. We had to order her a burger off the main menu because there wasn't a burger option on the children's menu. It's fine because she ate 90% of the burger from the main menu. However, if there was a burger on the children's menu she could have had it from there and then had her desert as part of the 2 course option. Overall a really good restaurant to eat at!

Its a nice interior , service started well the gentleman was nice , but service then declined , we ordered 2 burgers and fries , the burgers were Luke warm at best and fries stone cold on arrival, On complaining about fries , they did bring two sets out but by this point we were ready to leave as we had eaten the burger already, We wasn’t followed up on , no one apologised or even asked how our food was , or if we wanted more drinks or a dessert I then had to seek out staff to pay bill Again didn’t ask how the meal was. It’s was disappointing, place is a nice decor , but cold food is unacceptable Probably wouldn’t rush back again

Always enjoy coming to Wildwood. The food is always really good, a good variation of veggie dishes and happy to substitute food stuff for me when there is something I don't like, such as mushrooms. Reasonably priced food. Decor is fabulous, I love the wood on the walls and the display shelves. The open kitchen with a big burner is fantastic also. My most recent visit is the first time since the pandemic started that I have been. Food was once again delicious. My only issue this visit was the Air con was on. Its advised against to have them on with the Pandemic but the main thing was it was pointed directly on my neck and so it made me feel very cold. So it distracted me somewhat from the whole completely positive dining out experience, but all in all, I really do enjoy coming here.

Great venue, we had a large group (20) in after a conference at TIC. Staff were attentive and helpful, there were a few other post conference groups in. Could probably do with an extra couple of staff on during conferences as staff seemed quite under pressure, but they were excellent and food was really good.

An Ok restaurant that was clean and had some nice staff, but compared to many other restaurants I use in the town I found this more expensive with smaller portions. They added far too much green lettuce (garnish) to my meal too, I didn't know whether to eat it or mow it! I would have preferred more chips! The waiting time was quite a while too even though food was pre-ordered before visiting. I really liked the interior design of the restaurant, however I was not too sure that making the tables from old "used" scaffold boards was a great idea, because on the underside of the table I was sitting at was a sharp pointed protruding nail, this meant if I raised my leg up too high it could have embedded itself in my knee cap! We were also offered nibbles (stuffed olives, garlic bread, etc) due to long waiting times, however, we thought this was a good gesture until we got the bill at the end!

Lovely setting in a nice place the manager was really friendly and our server Jacob couldn't do enough for you also the black girl with braids was just adorable so you can tell this place invest a lot in their staff the kids meals were perfect and pizzas super delicious .I'd tweak the pear and blue cheese salad cut the leaves smaller peel the pear and cheese but apart from that I couldn't fault a thing..5 stars from me !

I'm writing this review as I sit in the restaurant. Today was my first time visiting a Wildwood restaurant and I didn't know what to expect. The menu did not entice me too much but then I am not a huge fan of Italian food. I decided on the Sea Bass and an espresso for a starter (I needed a boost). As I sat stirring my sugar cube into my espresso my food arrived which must have been less than ten minutes after I ordered. Not too much of an issue as the food itself was of great quality. I just would of preferred to settle in first. The service is lacking though as my table was not checked which is a necessity for restaurants and when they cleared it I was not offered a dessert menu (Not sure the even do desserts but I'm still hungry so...). Edit - I was finally asked if I was alright to which I requested a desert and the bill. Overall the food was fantastic but the service could be improved. Food - 5 stars Service - 3 stars

It's nice to eat in a place that feels well managed and where everyone seems to know what they are doing and do it well! The Arancini starter is a must! We were pleasantly surprised by this place. We only stopped in for some lunch mid shopping trip and ended up have a 2 course meal! When we arrived the restaurant only had a couple of tables of people, but within 20 minutes the place was full. This didn't cause any obvious problems for the staff though with food coming out after a reasonable wait. The food was delicious and the attentiveness of staff didn't faulter once. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be visiting again!

Lovely dining experience today at this place, everything was clean and the staff friendly, lovely meal and not too badly priced for the quality of the food either. Highly recommended for a nice meal. They sell a lovely artisan pizza cooked in a huge pizza oven at the back, along with food like burgers, steak, lasagna and a load of different veggie/vegan dishes.

They accommodated for our hen party very well with seating, and took our orders in a week prior. However it took them almost 2 hours to start putting food on tables after they should have and took 1h30 just to let us pay the receipt which is insane seeing as we were only 20 people. The pizza was great and the price was right for the size of the pizza. The drinks were great and served a lot faster than the food. My only negative was serving time which they should have accounted for beforehand.

I've been in the Telford area since October. I've been struggling to find places that serve excellent fired pizzas with unique, wholesome ingredients. My partner and I shared two artisan pizzas from Wildwood and we loved every mouthful. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. We'll be visiting again soon.

Food was delicious and the staff; although over stretched, did their best to cater for our needs. Only issue was a horrible stench coming from the restrooms. The waitress told us that they were aware out it as they've had issues with the plumbing. 10% discount offered for the inconvenience.

Had such a wonderful evening at the Wildwood! when we arrived they were super busy, the manager who I believe was called Lexi/Alexis was at the front of house helping her staff manage the busy period. She was so organised and let us know there would be a wait on food as there were big tables if we decided quickly on what we wanted she would submit the order asap so it would be done before the bigger tables ordered. This is exactly what happened our order was taken and food arrived not long after. All the staff were so busy but all gave their time to us when needed, the service was amazing and the team worked so hard to meet the needs of all of the customers! can't wait to come back! Very disappointing meal here on the 17th July 2021. The service was shocking but the front of house staff were absolutely spot on. I think the issue is the chef didn’t know how to cook. One person on our table ordered a medium rare stake and it arrived very very very well done. General the food was a bit tasteless. From what I could tell the pizzas looked okay but it’s hard to go wrong with this when they are stone baked. Thankfully we were given a free round of drinks, free bottle of Prosecco and a 50% discount on everything we ordered which is why I’m leaving a 3 star review and not a 1 star. Can’t fault the service from the management and front of house team. Would not be visiting again!!!

This Wildwood is a Charming and Friendly Restaurant and is a child Friendly Establishment so you can bring the Family for a Pizza if you like, The Staff are really Friendly Polite and helpful, And give you time to pick a drink you might want and your meal with out too much pressure, As it's nice to take your time as there are a lot of Meals to choose from the Food we had was Delicious this is my 3rd Visit, I also have keen interest in this Place as my Daughter works here and it gives me an Opportunity to see her a bit more often as I don't get chance to see her much lol, As she's Working! As usual, the food was delicious. Lots of choice, fresh ingredients and great atmosphere too. We watched children play in the fountains on the square, whilst enjoying our feast.

A Modern looking restaurant cooking Pizzas, Pasta Dishes, Rissotto etc etc. Food is of good quality although was a bit slow arriving. As it's situated by the main Telford Shopping Precinct and Entertainment Venues it a handy place to eat if you want to visit another nearby attraction.

The food was beautiful, but a young service team who take their time to get and seat you, they also don't find it important cleaning tables that have been used, as half of them were full with dirty plates and cups. We had to request knifes and forks after our food had been served and another couple had to find a server to make an order. Granted we visited on Bank Holiday Monday but the restaurant wasn't that busy, more dirty tables than seated guests. Service needs improvement. but again the food is absolutely stunning. The children's portions are amazing value for money too!

Went in for some dinner, was seated quite fast which was good we ordered the garlic bread for a starter which was lovely well flavoured with cheese, garlic and caramelised onions. For the mains I had the sirloin steak with garlic butter, peppercorn sauce with triple cooked chips and mushrooms the steak was cooked medium leaving it juicy and tender still in the middle. My partner had the lasagna with triple cooked chips. It looked good she said it had lots of flavour and was very filling we both said we would go again definitely enjoyed it i will have to upload a picture next time.

Visisted Wildwood today with husband. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, hubby had garlic king prawns (for the second time!) and I had mushroom arancini, both dishes were well presented and thoroughly enjoyed. I was also most impressed with the cleanliness of the washroom, it was immaculate and very good to know such efforts were being put to keeping everyone safe. Well done Wildwood, we will be back. We were a party of 10 with 3 young children so decided to book and eat early (6pm) We arrived on time, it wasn’t busy, we were served with our first drink in a good time however once our food order had been taken and the restaurant was getting busy we never got asked if we wanted any more drinks again. We all only had 1 drink each. The food was lovely, but the service was poor. We took off the service charge when we came to pay the bill and told them why.

Brilliant food. This is the second time we have been, first time being just before christmas where unfortunately we had quite a long wait for food. We were compensated on this instance though and apologised to repeatedly. The food was amazing so we decided to give it another go.. this time we were massively impressed, food came out quick, hot and just as lovely as the first time. This was my first visit and I was very impressed with both the service and food. I had the brie for starters and I can highly reccomend it! Both me and my mum ordered the mushroom and chicken risotto, when it arrived my mums was cold, we told the person who served it to us who I think was the manager and he apologised and said that mine would be cold too! He took them away, he then came back to advise us that the chef was going to make us fresh ones, and because my husband and son already had there meals we wouldn't be charged for the risottos, we had fresh meals made and a fresh garlic bread too! The food was delicious I was only gutted that I was too full to full to fit in a dessert! We will definitely be returning as I rate it as one of the nicest places to eat in Southawater. Excellent food and Excellent customer service!

It was 'ok'. The place was turning away anyone without a booking, at 5pm on a Saturday, despite only having 3 tables filled at the time. Seemed strange to me... Pizza was cold before I got 2 slices in, I assume because it had sat waiting while my wife's lasagne was cooked. Also for a pizza with "Double Pepperoni" it was severely lacking in pepperoni, with one or 2 penny sized pieces per slice. I'd hate to see what a normal pepperoni would have on it! Staff were friendly, but that's about all.

I need to start by saying this should be a 5 star review but there was some letdowns We booked a table for 19:45 and were seated quickly We were given time to look over the drinks menu and make our choices Then we looked over the well chosen menu With a good variety of dishes The food was delicious and well flavoured Definitely worth the money But the drinks were one of the let downs of the evening Ordered were 1×small ( VERY SMALL )glass of prosecco at £5.95 and 1 x Leffe blond (330ml) at £4.35 - this is the price I would normally pay for the 750ml bottle And One of the starter was ment to be tiger prawns and was served with king prawns definitely not tiger As there was a prawn spaghetti ordered for a main and they were the same size And with the lasagna that was ordered as the main there was no side salad or garlic bread and for £11.65 I would have expected something But I would recommend going out of the main hours as it does get a little loud and difficult to have a conversation
