S. J.We came for breakfast on a Sunday. The surroundings are beautiful. The food was amazing! I had fritatta with smokey beans, the flavours were amazing, it was very filling. My husband had a bacon roll which he said was lovely. My daughter had the pancakes with strawberries and ice cream. She only got two and it was very filling. We had a taste and they were amazing! My son had a chocolate brownie has he had already eaten and that was also 👌. If you're in truro this restaurant is a must visit! Staff were brilliant too

J. W.Excellent cafe and bakery with brunch and lunch menus. Includes gluten free and vegan as well as meat options. Very friendly and helpful staff. Waitress could not have been more helpful, storing pushchair for us and making us welcome.
C. B.We all had different variations of the pancakes for breakfast, all were delicious. Despite the rain the outdoor seating was cosy with cushions and blankets. When you book a table you only for an hours slot so it was a bit of am eat and run visit but the waitress did explain this as we arrived very politely. Service was lovely, one of our group was a bit particular with the food and she kindly said she would make sure the pacakes were plain to put his mind at ease, nothing was a problem. Will certaibly come again. Quite pricey (5 of us to have breakfast and 1 drink each was about £65) but it was lovely as a treat!!

A. K.Great place in Truro about 5-10 minutes walk from the Cathedral, with seating in the courtyard behind the cafe. Very good selection of pastries and cakes and great coffee. I had the pancake stack with butter and maple syrup and it was delicious, the pancakes were American style ones made with buttermilk and had a good fluffy texture. We also took a few kween amanns (a pastry originally from Breton in France) home with us. The pastries were amazing I highly recommend trying them they are like a very indulgent croissant, buttery and sugary, with a wonderfully crisp texture.
It's a good idea to book ahead as it is a popular place. We were lucky to get a table without booking.

H.Popped in to their takeaway shop for a tcoffee today. The service was excellent and felt really personal. The coffee was excellent. I only wish we had gone earlier to grab a sandwich and cake which all looked delicious. Plenty of dairy free options too!

We decided on pancakes, the blueberry 4 stack with bacon (sublime! 😁) and the 4 stack with apple compote.. Delicious.... If you get a chance to visit Bread and Butter Truro, go for it! Lovely place, so glad we went!

U. D.Excellent coffee (possibly best in Truro), staff always friendly and have a smile of this faces even in busy times. Lunch is yummy (baked sweet potato and fresh coleslaw in picture), has healthy options and there are always a lot of cakes to choose from.

L.What a beautiful hidden gem! Had time to kill and needed breakfast so found this place! Really cute and cosy small garden at the back. Seating outside with pretty lights and blankets provided for when it's cold! Inside it literally feels like your inside someone's expensive living room! Beautifully decorated! Menu wise, there isn't a large selection for breakfast. If your a fan of pancakes, this is famous for them! I however am not so I chose the bacon and avocado roll, which was really delicious! The staff were friendly and professional, as this was only a flying visit, I can't wait to go back again! The tables were well spaced and throughly disinfected when guests left. The hygiene was perfect. Hand sanitizers at the entrance and at the top of the stairs. Good wifi.

R. M.This place has the most homely, comforting feeling ever. The amount of care put into everything involving this cafe is beyond words can describe. The food is delicious and the super salads are always incredible. This is a wonderful place to have some breakfast, or something savoury at lunchtime, or even just a coffee and some amazing homemade cake. Also, the homemade American style pancakes are so delicious! This is also an excellent place for takeaway food items, as basically everything on the menu can be done to takeaway. A lot of the food ingredients are sourced locally, along with the coffee beans, which are roasted in Penryn. The Roddas’ milk refill station is super handy. One of my favourite things about the cafe is the outside covered booths in the garden, which even have overhead heaters. I can’t fault this beautiful independent cafe!

My husband is coeliac and very sensitive to gluten. The staff went out of their way to help and check all ingredients for possible contaminants. We had a lovely frittata and salad, which was prepared specifically for him. Can't commend highly enough.

T. E.Emilys is a hidden gem! The cafe may look small on the outside but surprisingly spacious. They have the sweetest garden area at the back with seating; perfect in the spring and summer. And the cosiest and spacious seating area upstairs too. Emily's is perfect for a moment of coffee bliss (best coffee in Truro) and has a great healthy selection for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Their amazing selection of home made cakes and dimare cinnamon buns are delicious too, if you fancy a sweet treat!
Such a beautiful cafe, they pay attention to the details and the staff are really welcoming and accommodating. I would high recommend :)

a. t.Found this cafe just by mistake on Google I was going in to truo for a day out with my husband and our dog, we had planned it out do some shopping then have lunch, we turned up at colourful cafe at the end of the road, they had turned there front door into a makeshift counter to serve people with social distancing in mind it was very cleverly done they had delicious sandwiches and cakes on show in a glass cabinet and also shop window and the most delicious latte, the cinnamon buns are to die for.😋 the lady that served us was very warm and welcoming she had said they were glad to be open again and able to serve and speak to customers. If you are in Truo give this place a visit you won't be disappointed and the lady also gave my dog a little dog biscuits, I wish them all the best for the future and we will definitely be back.

Such a good toasted sandwich and San Pellegrino Limone Menta what more could a boy wish for. I got it to go and it came in a foil lined bag so it stayed hot, I only had time for half of it on my lunch break and I just went back out to check on the remaining half and its still hot! 100 percent recommended.
