So I have really mixed feelings about this place. And yet five stars. Let me tell you why. First - the bad. - The outside area is horribly messy, nobody cleaned there in ages. Leaves on the tables, parasols removed. It looks like storage for old frying oil containers. (picture) - The young waitress was probably the worst waitress we have ever seen in our lives. Absolutely no knowledge about the food, the drinks, nothing. And not polite. The other lady was super nice and knowledgeable, yet it's the kid that was serving us and yelling her questions to the other one through the whole restaurant. Terrible. - Our food took over an hour to arrive. We did get a warning that there's only one chef, but still. Now the good stuff: - The inside looks nice, cozy and clean - THE FOOD! Sweet baby Jesus, the food was amazing. Explosion of authentic flavours, so hard to find in this part of the country. Delicious, beautifully served dishes blew out minds. And at the end of the day - that's all that really matters. Nevermind the horrible waitress, nevermind the mess outside. We did not come to talk to waitresses or admire architecture. We came to eat well and eat well we did. Solid five stars. Thank you guys!

We had an amazing experience in this restaurant considering that we were really hungry. The staffs were amazing! We got our orders in just a short time. We had soft shell crab which we loved so much we even ordered for another egg fried rice. The miso ramen was really good too we ordered for another miso soup. I ordered the seafood yaki soba which was so tasty and my boyfriend had the chicken with fried rice. Everything was really good! Highly recommend! xx

Great take out and at reasonable price too. We went out to get a celebratory meal and stumbled upon The Yue Restaurant. It’s got a great menu selection and the staff are friendly. We ordered about £60 of food and we’re surprised on the amount of food we actually got. This is now our go-to for sushi. Keep it up!

I had my 30th Birthday celebrations with these guys on Saturday evening, they did not disappoint , we are on our 3rd takeaway and I'm telling you this Food is nothing like Truro has ever had before!. Its fresh it's on point !.. absolutely incredible! .. its about time our taste buds were satisfied to this level and you guys forever serve just exactly that !.. more than satisfied 💫 very fare priced, extremely happy staff and the most tastiest level of Tasty!.. 💫

The BEST sushi in Truro by far! We had a mixture of both the Chinese & Japanese menu; everything we ordered was cooked to perfection (except the sushi of course which was amazingly fresh!!) and great portions all round. The prices beat most of the surrounding Chinese restaurants that deliver, so good value for money too!

The best Chinese food I've had in a long time. We were in the restaurant didn't have to wait long for food and the staff were friendly and helpful. A large selection of chinese and Japanese food to choose from. Would highly recommend

Seriously, BEST (and one of the Only) SUSHI RESTAURANTS IN CORNWALL!! We ate here on a whim with a group of friends after hearing they had sushi. I’m used to the sushi in London which, (although very expensive) is really good. I didn’t have too many expectations initially due to some poor experiences with sushi in Cornwall (which tended to be more westernised and fusion) but Yue blew my expectations out of the water! The salmon sashimi was THICK cuts, fresh and juicy. The sushi rice was really flavourful with lots of vinegar and was fresh! The ikura (salmon roe) was some of the best quality i’ve ever had, salty and briny and SWEET but not fishy. And the tonkotsu RAMEN broth was so tasty!
