I come here once a week on a Tuesday with my little boy after swimming. The staff are always super friendly and will go above and beyond, especially Sinead, who is always so chatty and kind and takes time to talk to you and your children. The food is great and is reasonably priced. Always comes out hot. We share the combo feast (as it’s a big portion) followed by an Eton mess sundae. Lovely place. Lovely people. Lovely food xxx

Popped in today for breakfast. Host was very chatty and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent with everything we needed and although it's an all you can eat we were full after one visit. Was fresh and hot and very enjoyable. Even though Tracy was busy and trying to do everything she was polite happy and ensured we had everything we needed. We would definitely return.

Great place to eat with very generous portion sizes. If you want to get great value, this is the place to be! Nearly all food is under a tenner and be sure to not pass up on the carvery or salad! Staff was very friendly and Vikki in particular was helpful, ensuring we were well attended too. Will come again soon!

I think we’ve found our new favourite place. We’ve never come across such attentive staff. Food was delicious, really well cooked and nicely presented and incredibly well priced too especially for the portion sizes. We will be back :)

Lovely place, was extremely busy and staff where very attentive. Vicky was lovely too made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend. Jimmy the 9 year old says they had huge coca colas that were yummy and had tasty chips and delicious burgers.

A great afternoon meal with the daily abs made extremely welcome by Tracy and the team. Food was hot and cooked just as we like it. Dan the carvery man, is a bundle of energy and fun and engaged with everyone he spoke to. We definitely can't give praise the team enough and the fantastic food. Here's to our next visit.

Nice place for a good meal. We ordered a sunday roast, the food was tasty apart from the roasted potatoes. We pointed out to the staff that they potatoes were simply distasteful and we were treated pleasantly. Hope to come back here soon. 🙂

Just wanted to add an update to my review... Just been in yet again.. And would like to say a huge thank you to our waitress Vikky she was absolutely fantastic, made the whole evening 11/10.... Visited yesterday for the first time and didn’t really know how it all worked. Peter at the bar explained I buy a carvery ticket and take it up to the carvery chef where I could help myself. All pretty straight forward. Peter told us to download the app if we wanted to order more drinks to save queuing. Drinks came out quickly and the food was delicious.

Whilst the kids where away me and my fiancée decided to try out somewhere close to home but different to where had ate before. We was greeted at the door by a very friendly member of staff called Tracy who was extremely friendly while showing us to our table and explaining the different ways to order. The food was very good, the service was way too slow. So slow that when we reminded the waitress that we were over forty minutes waiting she said that she would sort it immediately but unfortunately it took a long time after that. Overall the place is spotless but again unfortunately one of the forks was cacked in old food. Would I go again? Yes but if the same were to happen I'm afraid we'd be dropping to two stars.

Amazing service, dan serving the carvery was brilliant, he and sinead and Claire really were great, fast, friendly and honestly all round great. Each of them need a raise. Being Understaffed is something I deal with every day so to give such great service and be so friendly with is a talent so guys you lot absolutely smashed it today as I'm sure you do each day! So from two folks who also work in your industry and with the public keep going your amazing. I hope your top brass sees this and you get something fab as a reward!!

Been visiting here for a while now, love the food but sometimes the waiting time is awful but you get good results. In some cases the food can be disappointing an not so great but Depends on the day you go. All in all the place is great. Staff are fab. The lovely Vikki was very friendly!

Brought my mum & 2 grandchildren for a carvery this afternoon. We were served on the bar by jemma who was very patient with me when ordering several cake aways. At the carvery we were served by a lovely guy. Sorry I don't know his name but it was around 4.45pm, he was not very tall, lovely & friendly. Then a lovely girl called Chinead came to our table & was very helpful & a lovely girl. Food & service was great.Thankyou also to all the other staff.

Called in yesterday (1/7/22) with my grandson for lunch. Excellent service from Sinead , Kym, Claire and Kaytie. Prompt friendly service from all of them. The areas were all clean and tidy, with dirt plate/glasses being cleared away quickly. I’m coeliac and the staff were knowledgeable of what I could have and double checked everything with the kitchen. The 4 girls I had contact with were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Easter Sunday meals for 9 people. Very busy. The staff were rushed off their feet. They meals were excellent, and the carvery is certainly the best in the area. The Farmhouse Inns do excell with their carveries. Highly recommend this chain for their excellent carveries and varied menus. Their Golden Years menu is also a bargain at £7.49.

Brilliant pub with a great atmosphere and lovely food. Vinny and Lucy are amazing owners and their staff work really hard, always go out of their way to check that their customers are happy. Claire, Callum but especially Sinead are lovely and friendly every time.

They put a couple of rectangular tables together but then stuck a round table at the end which made it a disjointed setting. 13 Feb 2022. Called for breakfast and it was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Food was hot, plenty of choice, not greasy at all. Extra thick lean back bacon, sausages were of excellent quality, hash browns were nice an crispy on the outside, with light potato and again, no grease, black pudding, mushrooms, plum toms and beans….a gentleman in front of me had used the last of the eggs and two more were brought to my table in no time it all and were perfectly cooked too, varied condiments were at hand, as was a good variety of preserves for your toast. I could only find one fault!…. That was I couldn’t eat anything more! Proper belly buster that sets you up for the full day. Staff were extremely polite and were at hand if you needed anything but all we needed was already available. We will definitely will go again, as we were leaving, the place was starting to get busier….. seems very popular with a lot of people coming in ….and now we know why. Well done to Vinni, chefs and all at Chapelford Farm….. Would we call again?? YES 100% Thank you, Neil & Michéle x

They did exchange them for more flat drinks and they didn't taste like they should. The syrup or whatever they use was clearly running out. We didn't get an apology or even a smile. Needless to say we won't be going back. Zero customer service.

As a support worker we take a lady out for lunch in a large wheelchair - the staff always help us make her comfortable, moving chairs etc for us so she can actually sit at the table. Every member of staff have always been so helpful & friendly - nothing seems to much trouble Yesterday we chose a carvery (which was delicious) and the guy serving (sure his name was Jordan) helped me as I had two plates and even brought them over to our table. Two quite new staff (one called Morgan I think) served us at the bar and were again, really friendly A real welcoming pub Thank you all.

But the host with the most is susan our waitress for the night, she is amazing and funny and made our night. Not the place it used to be, customer service is shocking, I was waiting my turn in the queue to order food and drinks, plenty of people behind me, when it was my turn to be served the bar staff looked at me and walked to the other end of the bar and started serving other people, the people behind couldn't believe the service neither, took an extra 10 mins to be served on the till, we ordered carvery and chicken nuggets for kids, waited for 35 mins before asking where the children's meals were, then the waitress said I'm on my own am the only runner, I get it was busy, also no control over other children's kids, was like being in the zoo with the kids jumping off the paying machines at the back near the under 5 area, food was OK I guess can't really go wrong with a cavery, could of steamed the veg a bit longer than a minute tho, won't be going back in a hurry.

We are regular customers here and I always have the same delicious Chicken Medley, however our experience today was pretty poor, I had planned to post a review today but it happens to have been on a day when the food was below standard, it was brought out to us very quickly which was concerning, the food was overcooked and I suspect had been under heat lamps etc, my partner has a carvery and she enjoyed it which was good, we ordered two children's meals which were overcooked and the order was Wrong too, I never received the Diane sauce I ordered so then some was brought out but was like water, we were offered a free dessert but didn't accept, I feel this may have just been an off day for them or a change in chef, we will return and I hope to be re-posting again soon.

Very disappointed with my carvery, firstly as I ordered on the app, you can just get up and give your number in, oh no I had to go back and get proof I was having one. My local one has tickets there ready as proof. I thought the point of having a "chef" there was to carve your meat not give you scraps of the previous customer. The woman in front of me complained saying he was a bit scabby with the meat and to give her more, I don't know who he was saving it for but he was a bit tight. The only greens was sprouts, wheres the broccoli/peas. The servers are a bit rushed off their feet, but still have a smile on their faces. I'll stick to my local Farmhouse inns.

I visited the Chapelford Arms last night for the first time after a recommendation by a friend and I was not disappointed at all. Visited Saturday 19th September and whilst I appreciate imminent lockdown and covid poses issues the food service was quite poor waited an hour for food and had to ask in the end how long it would be, food was of a poor standard I had the chicken combo and the chicken breasts were stringy and inedible. Usually I would complain if not happy with food or service but for the price decided to just leave. Many people around us where chasing food orders, it just needed the waitresses to advise people there was a delay as there was plenty of waiting staff. One positive is the ordering on the app as the bar service was really good.

You are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the staff. The place is very clean and tidy. It has a cosy environment. I usually go for the standard carvery which is more than enough for me. The turkey is soft and tender, the gammon is good and there is a plenty of veg which are all well cooked. Nothing seems to be too much for the staff who are always so helpful from my experience. Chapelford Farm was a nice enough Carvery and better than the Toby Carvery as a comparison. Nothing to complain about with the main course, though nothing to shout about either. Would recommend for the deserts alone.

Chapelford do lovely food from their set menu. Good portion sizes and really tasty. I used to always have the carvery but this does not seem as good as it used to be as sometimes on the cool side (especially in evening)so recommend main meals instead.

Good for parents with kids, but for couples that want a relaxed meal this won't be for you at the weekend. It's far too busy. The food is nice and filling but nothing really, Otley special - unless you're having three courses of puddings then you'll be in heaven!

Food is normally very nice, but wouldn't recommend coming here at a weekend as it's too busy and service is really slow. Also you can't book a table and have to wait ages to be seated. If you've got older kids like I have, last thing you want is to be seated anywhere near the kids play area. So tend to come on a weekday when it's more like a pub than a creche.

We enjoyed the chapelford farm tonight .It had the feel of Christmas markets with around 100 people say outside with heaters and the selected huts . We felt sorry for the staff as they were run of their feet with the demand outside outstripping the demand .

Ok for a cheap meal. Don't expect high quality. Expect over cooked veg and microwave heated food. Salmon was dry, new potatoes over cooked and slushy in the middle, peas that grey green colour. To avoid disappointment go for anything with chips. Burgers are tasty, battered fish is decent. Yorkshire pudding wrap was inedible because the Yorkshire pud was dry and chewy.

Me and my family went to chapelford farm for my little girls birthday our experience was fun and pleasurable as a result of the welcoming and friendly staff. We were kindly authorised a table for my family by claire who was a great help and louise acquainted our needs of drinks and orders, she was very patient and helpful .

Ate tonight and had the lasagne . Had a bad experience here with lasagne several years ago and passed the criticism on as it was dry and bland. Today , however , it was gorgeous !! Exceptionally tasty and cheesy . Fab. Partner had beef casserole which was spot on , delicious . Well done all round . attended an 80th Birthday celebration at the Chapelford on 20th May 2017. we where a party of 17 and had a meal in the restaurant. Although it was very busy I was really surprised how enjoyable it was, the Manager and staff where excellent and the small wait was not a problem. The Manager and staff where very informative and everyone in the party had a great time. Well worth another visit, the desserts where incredible and deserve a prize for the presentation and taste. This is our local pub, and it can get quite busy as there isn't another for quite a long walk - but atmosphere is nice & friendly - good facilities for kids (their own area with games etc, and family can sit nearby to watch.)
