Always 5* at Expedition. Been here loads of times and always loved it. Food is amazing whether it’s nibbles, meal or the Sunday roast (£7, sublime). Always look after our little pooch too with treats and water. Love it

Best bar and food in Stockton Heath. Relaxed, superb service, pleasant, polite friendly staff and a great chef. Have eaten here several times and everything is perfect. Small menu, some might say small choice but everything is cooked to perfection. Delivered in good time and compared to the chain restaurants in the are or the 'Steakhouses', it's simply better. Miles better. Cocktails are reasonably priced and absolutely lovely. If you want a guaranteed good night out, just go straight here. Forget the rest, I've tried them all, this is absolutely the best. Son't be put off by what looks like a small bar area downstairs, upstairs is huge and very well appointed.

A delight, Sunday Lunch at a fabulous price, top service in with it too and a homemade orange and passion fruit that was way way better than any bottled stuff. Even went the extra yard(s) when I wanted some cranberry sauce, nipping over the road to Sainsbury's for a jar. What a lovely team ..

Lovely experience. I visited Expedition in February with my Nana’s for her birthday and the owner Eric Howe made the experience! The food and the cocktails were fantastic and great for her first time going to Expedition. A big big thank you to Eric for ensuring my nana safely crossed the road and got into the car. Thank you!

I ordered some food and a 6 pack of their cocktails from Uber eat. I'm absolutely blown away by the quality and attention to detail. The food was amazing but the cocktails were absolutely delicious and they sent all garnishes including a bag of ice! I'll absolutely be ordering again, I never expected this level of delivery. Only thing I could suggest is a little slip with instructions of which garnish goes with which, but I think I worked it out. Amazing.

Spent a lovely afternoon here, enjoying the bottomless brunch. Its a beautiful place, the food was outstanding and the staff and chef could not have been more accommodating- (changing orders without hesitation that our vegetarian members had not noticed contained pancetta). We had a newly diagnosed coeliac with us, who was uncertain what they could have - they were offered anything at all - the chef will make whatever you want! A beautiful chicken salad was produced with a stunning olive oil and fresh basil dressing. The chef is amazing! Honestly couldn't have been treated better and look forward to returning. Fabulous atmosphere with friendly and approachable staff. Thankyou.

Lovely place! Quite busy as it was a really hot bank holiday Monday. Service great and very quick, cocktails and water beautifuly presented and very tasty. I had this blue cocktail which came with a huge ice cube and a flacon of pink alcohol, poured together it made a really nice and tasty pinky-purple drink (can't remember the name for the life of me but would definitely recommend it) 🥰 Girls who were serving the drinks were super nice too, will definitely be coming back.

Thankyou to Damien (who greets you at the door) he managed to find a place to store my cake the night before which was planned for mother's birthday here. He also extended our table to accommodate us staying for drinks after the meal to listen to the piano music! Millie was our waitress and she done a really good job the whole night, she was so sweet. And presented my mothers birthday cake perfectly. The food was very tasty I had the cod Loin wrapped in pancetta. Mmm

Food was nice , hanging kebabs are a treat . But do not order the steak and ale pie . There were more carrots in it than steak . And the dauphinoise potatoes aren't worth the price you pay . The decor and atmosphere were nice , as were the staff .

Had the best birthday ever here on Saturday, Eric and Anne are the perfect hosts and absolutley went above and beyond to make it a day to remember. Can't wait for the next visit. Thank you x

Nice restaurant, service and food very good. Only concern was eating inside and the tables were not spaced far enough apart. The groups behind us and to the side were literally within touching distance. We left straight after the meal as it felt s little bit risky staying any longer.

Would of been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the enormous speaker right above our table in the far corner, back ground music is good but this was like being in a sports bar way way to loud we ask if I could be turned down which it was a little I think but didn’t seem to make much difference so most of the meal was spent shouting at our friends, On leaving I spoke with management about this and he admitted it is an issue we’ve had before and I will put it to the directors what ever that means ….

What a fantastic restaurant, hidden away above a cool little bar. Stopped in for a quick meal on the way home and was really happily surprised. Greeted by Anne and allowed a choice of seats before giving a drinks order and having a rummage through the menu... The drinks came and and food order was next up, with suggestions and appreciation for my allergy, coupled with some cracking conversation. Good music in a really stylishly and comfortably designed place made for a nice way to pass the wait. Dinner arrived, served by Owen who was really attentive and focussed on a good experience, and it was really lovely. Generous portions and freshly prepared. More Great convo whilst paying with Anne rounded off a really lovely meal. Definitely would visit again.

Me and my wife went to get tea there last night and the service was spot on.our waitress molly was brilliant we absolutely loved it. I even said it was the best food I’ve ever. We had a tomahawk sharing planter it was unreal loved the whole experience there. Highly recommend the place kind regards Aaron can’t wait to go back.

Well it is official the best Sunday Lunch has arrived in Stockton Heath! We dined there last week and did not think they could improve but they exceeded our expectation. Beautifully cooked succulent beef with all the trimmings and the lightest Yorkshire pud combined with the yummiest gravy... .No room for desert, well guess what, we managed to squeeze in some rhubarb crumble and the most amazing home cooked orange chocolate brownie, truly delish!! Welcoming and attentive staff all wrapped up in a super stylish setting, can't wait to go back!

Well..........where do I start?? Probably with Eric the bar manager. Went in to see him to arrange a surprise birthday get together for my husband's 60th birthday. Didn't want the expense of a huge buffet, as it was more the get together than the eating. Asked for nibbles, he recommended the platters, asked what I wanted on then, requested various Italian meats and cheeses, also said throw a dinner chips on, as they always go down well, asked him what else he recommended, he recommended the mini burgers. We'll what can I say.........only absolutely amazing, just beautiful, presentation, tasty, plentiful, could have fed the whole ba ........everyone pulled me up how beautiful the food was. Staff where helpful, the, what I think was the manageress upstairs, blonde haired lady (sorry, I forgot your name) was very helpful, looked after us all night, nothing was too much trouble. They ran out of Brandy, it's the only drink one of my friend's like, they even ran out to the local shop to replenish a bottle for her, how fabulous is that? Saxophonist was amazing, got everyone in a party mood, even played "happy birthday" for my husband. If had to complain about anything, it would have to be the DJ'ess.........a bit miserable, looked like it was a chore her being there, didn't have any requested music, just shook her head and pointed to the table.........she was obviously playing off a play list and wanted to be home in her PJ's I'm guessing. Now that I've mentioned that, let's move swiftly on......... Thanks guy's for a truly memorable night, hubby truly had an amazing night (very delicate the next morning) thank you for making it soooo special and for looking after us noisy lot with amazing food.
