Special thank you for Jordan and Alex who made our experience what it was. We actually found the food to be about 4 out of 5 but the service was 5 out of 5 when you consider how much money you pay for a burger and chips we were really happy with the service that we were provided. It's not that the food isn't delicious it's that the food is expensive £36 four out of five food is debatable but the service is outstanding and for that I am grateful.

Very good first time experience. I was surprised at the price but after dinning decided it was probably worth it. I did not select enough toppings, which are all free. This was a first time dinning mistake, I'll know better next time. We had a large fries between 2 adults and 1 child, this proved adequate. On the whole, good and tasty.

Absolutely love this place! 🍔 yes, it is pricey for what you get, ultimately a burger and chips. But my god is it nice! The burgers you can have as many toppings from the list as you like, the chips portions are huge and they are so tasty! For a fussy eater this is my go to for burgers 🤤

Amazing customer service from the team working today. I people watch a lot! And I watched the team at work as we sat opposite the kitchen and I must give praise because they have a good system going and all of the staff are so efficient and friendly to all the customers walking in and out. The guy who was on cleaning duties was equally doing a fabulous job of keeping the place spotless. So well done Five Guys Watford because I’ve received better customer service here than at high class restaurants!!

Great burger, no real options for kids so the will have to go with the little burger and that’s just a normal size single burger. Large fries could feed a family of 4. And free refills with your soft drink so if you are a family no need to each get a drink.

Typical fast food eatery with a twist - you can customise what you want to add to your burger / hit dog. If you feel spoiled with choices, you can go ALL THE WAY, i.e have everything. Their fries are super good, although I don't understand why they are so short.

First time visiting a Five Guys, have to say, quite impressed. Food all freshly cooked to order with a myriad of topping options and mix-ins for the milkshakes. It is more expensive than other fast food burger chains, but the quality is very good. Fries are cooked in peanut oil, but there are warning signs everywhere and allergen information available if required/requested. Free refills on fountain drinks as well. I'll definitely be going back!

They recommend a simpel burger meal, with spicy chips and a chocolate milkshake. The burger was the best I've had from a fast food chain. The milkshake is the king on the highstreet.

Great food and great customer service. I complained as the last 2 times we ordered from here, the fries weren't as big of a portion as usual (we order here often). The manager and staff were great, they really took the complaint on board and said this shouldn't happen especially twice and gave us a free large Cajun fries. Really great how they resolved the issue quickly.

Friend of mine suggested Five Guys as it's awesome and so on. Yeah, we went there. And it was awesome! Lot better then anticipated. Meat is well done - I was sceptical, but it was so juicy and delicious! One of the (if not the!) best burger is had. Ever. Fries is also very-very good, if you like spicy, choose the Cajun option! Soft drink is refillable with a lot of options (vanilla cherry zero coke, for example) If you have the opportunity, don't miss it and try it! A short remark: normal burger is the double! ;)

This is not your typical fast burger joint. A fantastic burger with vast array of toppings. Consider sharing a chips rather than getting one for just yourself ! With the burger and chips, I was more than full by the time I was finished. The restaurant is immaculately clean and the service is professional. Very expensive fast food burgers that are exceptionally better quality than usual fast food places. Would give them 5 stars if they put back all the flavour options for their soft drinks that are only available on diet versions. I'm a grown up choosing to eat out for a treat at a highly unhealthy place. I'm not going to save my waistline by having a huge tasty burger and enormous amount of fries (so much that if 2 of you go I would recommend 1 medium fries between the both of you) and then not have the option for a sugary flavoured drink. Food is cooked to order and considering that it is done quickly.

Though I enjoyed the delicious food and I suggest that instead of using peanut butter for the chips I recommend using vegan gluten-free oil that everyone can use.

Not quite what I was expecting. The food was good although on the pricey side for a fast food joint. Cost 2 adults £26 for 2 large burgers. We shared large chips and drink due to price. We would have paid £30+ if we did chips and drinks individually.

Burgers are cooked to perfection. You can order with a good selection of toppings & sauces. The portion size for the fries is huge, I normally struggle with a double burger & regular fries. Price is outrageous hence the lower score. £8 for a cheeseburger which is medium in size, only soft drink option is a refill which is £3.50 and chips £5 so for a meal of smaller size than say Mcdonalds you are paying over double the cost. I wanted a light lunch so ordered just a hamburger, no drink or chips. I ordered mine with the sweet, smokey barbecue sauce and hot salty jalapenos. I was the first customer for an early lunch. My burger got attention from the "Two Guys". We had friendly chat as it cooked. I was so disappointed by the result. My food was bland. I didn't find the sweet, salty heat. Almost no flavour. The barbecue sauce may just have been missed off. Now dissecting the burger. The meat had the subtle flavour of beef, but it was not seasoned, no salt to unlock it's flavour. The salty jalapeño wasn't. I regretted eating here, with so many other choices nearby. I told staff, they were apologetic but gave no indication the food would ever be better, specifically stating the meat isn't seasoned. I'd recommend GBK or a McDonald's Signature burger.

If anyone gets a milkshake with all the ingredients in, I want to know about it! Burgers are super good a juicy and hot dogs are delicious too! Brilliant burgers, they are absolutely huge and you get to choose your toppings (I had a cheeseburger, with bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion - delicious!). The atmosphere inside is casual and one of the tables had enough space for me and 8 others. Service is quick and you can expect to pay the same price as you would at Nandos. The chips are good, they actually taste like potatoes unlike...whatever mcdonalds fries taste like. You can buy a drink cup for about £3 which you can refill as many times as you like with whatever drink you like. Overall, fantastic!

Today I went here with my carer I ordered a cheese burger with all toppings, large spicy fries and I got a free paper tray of peanuts . My carer got the bacon cheese burger with some toppings, medium spicy fries and some peanuts . We spent £26.65 I think but we had a good time . Best burger I ever had but not a place I would go often as it has over 2000 kcal in a large meal , maybe 1-2 times a month. I 100% recommend. Ken

The food is 5* but overall it loses 1* for the price. £8 cheeseburger, £5 milkshake and £3 for small chips is a bit pricey. Highly recommended, you have to try their burgers at least once.

Not the cheapest or fastest burgers in town, but consistently the best. I'm not going to pretend this is a place to go for dinner every night or a quick healthy snack. Five Guys is the place to go for a once-in-a-while indulgent treat, suspending the thought that I really did just consume over 2,000 calories in a single meal. I have never been disappointed with the burgers and shakes at this Five Guys. It's on the premium end of the scale, which is reflected in the relatively high price (there is a Wetherspoons for a cheaper alternative next door) though has always served the best burgers in town. For dessert, the chocolate shakes are thick, creamy and not too sugary. A++

Took my son and his mates for a birthday threat. They loved it! Aaron, the GM, was very accommodating and did a great job to ensure things went well both prior and on the day itself 👍 The 'Little' menu was the right portions so no waste and operating the unlimited drinks machine was a fun thing for the kids👌 Only 4 stars as understanding the final packaging was not easy and needs a wee bit of work. The numbering system didn't work.

Interesting. At heart quite a simple expression of what MacDonalds, Burger King etc could be if any of their food were made of actual food. Lots of excellent options to customise your food and drink though (bacon milkshakes anyone?). Having visited while in the states I was excited to try it back home in the UK. It tastes the same, but the price really hurts your wallet -- it's much more expensive here. You'll be spending around £14 if you get a full meal of a burger, fries and a drink so it's not your ordinary cheap, fast food place. The fries are the highlight of Five Guys, always. I would happily go in just to order the fries alone. As for this particular establishment: when I went in, both drinks machines were nearly empty or had run out of whatever liquid they use to give the fizzy drinks their fizz because 3 different drinks I tried were all flat. I mentioned this to the staff and I was told this would be fixed ASAP. I sat and waited with my food for 30 minutes and still no one went to fix the problem. This was a very slow day, there were only about 8 other customers there. Annoyed I spent so much money on a large drink and never ended up getting it. I walked out frustrated without asking for a refund on the drink (in hindsight, I should have), only to be slightly cheered up by the amazing fries.

Always a fan of five guys, always seems consistent no matter where you go. Great portions for 2 to share fries and a drink, then seperate burgers or dogs. Very much in line with what you imagine is the typical all American burger joint romanticised in films. Meat is all good quality. I'd recommend this to anyone at least once to see how the place works especially if you go somewhere busy, and who doesn't love free nuts

Way too narrow!! and why not create a seating area upstairs? Did you really get a design team to design the layout of this restaurant?. Even the kitchen staff are cramped! Update January 2017: Have eaten so many burgers and dogs I'm worried I will start looking like a burger soon, seriously the burger are good. However, I'm not keen on the foil wrapping... if left for a couple of minutes the heat (steam) in the burger saturates the bun and turns the bun quickly into a soggy mess. PLEASE add sauerkraut as a toppings option!!!
