I've been there for a special occasion and felt super great in a very romanian traditional atmosphere with fun music,tasty food and definitely too much drink 🤭🙈 The place is awesome ,nice and friendly staff!

It was my first time trying Romanian cuisine. At first I assumed this was a Greek/Mediterranean restaurant by the atmosphere. The food is all freshly grilled and served efficiently. The soups and mixed grills are my favourite.. The waiters take time to explain to you each dish as the preview reviews have stated that the menu is in Romanian. On the weekends the restaurant itself transforms into a bar with traditional music as well as Romanian house music. Great hospitality, I shall visit again.

I just had dinner there. Great food, although I wish I could have read the menu entirely to properly choose what really appealed to me. I feel this restaurant could do a better job. Firstly, I was shocked to see that no English menu was available. I just don't understand that a restaurant operating in the UK, and with such a central location, would only have menu in Romanian ! I had to start Google translating the menu, at which point the staff finally offered some basic help. This should be improved. The 2nd room for improvement that I see is with music. Very loud and repetitive. They played the same song 5 times in a row which led me to hasten my dinner and leave fairly quickly instead of enjoying my time ! So, English translation, and a varied stream of songs, played slightly less loud. Then I would happily give a 4th star !

Food was okay, service could be improved. Spilled wine all over my coat, bag, trousers, shoes, hair and shirt during the service. Very apologetic but we did not see any discount on the bill for the inconveniences caused. Nothing but slightly annoyed and disappointed in general.

I really fancied traditional Romanian food and this place hit the spot! We went here on a Wednesday afternoon and the gentlemen that served us was very helpful and recommended their best dishes. Everything that we ate was made then and there, super fresh and flavourful traditional Romanian food. Just like my grandma would make it back home. This will probably be the only restaurant I will be eating at for Romanian food. Reasonable prices and LARGE portions. Thank you! Best Romanian restaurant ever 😁🍴👍 We thank you very much for the hospitality and the attention for small details. It is ideal for parties, enjoying quality food and listening to live music in same time. You might think that is expensive but when you actually calculate, if you order their sharing platters divided to 4,6 or how many you are is actually a better deal and your friends/family can enjoy a variety of traditional food cooked to perfection with authentic taste of Romania. Indeed the bill will include the service charge which I don't believe is a rip off as if you noticed they are having security staff. Are they working for free? Providing you with safety to enjoy your party is a plus and should be appreciated. Parking is just across the street from the restaurant, 2-3 minutes walk, so very convenient. We came from Aylesbury to celebrate 40th Birthday of my husband, everyone had fun and enjoyed the night, staff was polite and attentive. Would like to return on February to celebrate my birthday. Pictures attached, really recommend this restaurant, is like no other. PS: if you are looking for cheap food there are plenty fast food restaurants/pubs and if you don't like live music then just choose quiet places. Some of the reviews I have read are really non sense in my opinion. Quality comes with a price, this restaurant is different and can not compare, period.

It is one of the most beautiful locations in Watford where you can eat traditional Romanian dishes at reasonable prices and cooked in person. After a long time I wanted to eat a soup like at my mother's house! The service is impeccable and the staff is extremely generous. I recommend it with confidence! First of all I would like to start by saying that I made a reservation for my daughter's christening party in May, although I only called 10 days before I was pleasantly surprised to be accepted even though there were only 20 of us of people and I also changed the arrival time once, although they had bigger events that evening they accepted without any problems, I chose the cold and hot platters of impeccable quality quality and quantity being very satisfied both us as well as our guests, fast service, attention to details, the local manager welcomed us from the moment we arrived, being an exceptional host, the chef very attentive and fast, prices more than adequate, very good location, very good but also light fiddle music party, specifically Romanian food cooked very well, on this occasion our congratulations to the chef and the whole team, I wholeheartedly recommend this place for big parties but also for going out casual, the atmosphere and the team are very good, congratulations once again and we will definitely come back. Super restaurant, 10-star service, excellent food, I really searched a lot for such a restaurant here in England where you can feel at home and I actually found Lautarilor Inn, I went especially for Papanasi specials but what do you think of how beautiful it is once I forgot that I ordered papanasi to tell the waiter to bring them, I left home with the thought of finding papanasi because I wanted it being pregnant, but even if I forgot because of our fault, it was really a very nice evening and I highly recommend it

I had one of the most beautiful evenings spent in a Romanian restaurant in England! I felt incredibly good with my friends. The music, the food and the atmosphere were perfect for an unforgettable evening. The staff was very attentive and well trained in serving us! The only restaurant I have been to here where I waited for a table but it was worth it!!!
