I have been to a lot of TGI Fridays across the country but this has to be my favourite experience so far. The restaurant was lovely, not too busy. The servers were absolute angels and were really accommodating and friendly. I got such good vibes from them. The music was great and the food was amazing. Loved every minute!

It was difficult to get in because the doors are very heavy and quite narrow. Once inside there was a bit of a wait to be seated but it wasn't too bad. Once seated we were served quickly and the food brought out in very good time too. The food itself was absolutely delicious. The dessert was nice but there were limited options. All in all I highly recommend, only reason it's not five stars is because we had difficulty in opening the doors when we arrived and again when we left.

Great service, delicious food and the cocktails were amazing. We hadn't booked but they still got us a table for 9. The waitress was very attentive to our needs and I've never known a restaurant to be so concerned about allergies, which was really nice. My only criticism was that three of us ordered the same starter but wasn't told until later that it wasn't available, and the food took a little longer than expected. But overall definitely recommended.

Went to TGIs as a easy and convenient option after going to the cinema. Food came out quick and was hot and tasty. Portions were generous, pasta was lovely and prawns were of a good size. Only gripe was that for your refillable drinks you had to ask a waiter to do it for you, hence you feel awkward to keep asking.

Great family experience at TGIs. 7 of us. Well looked after and throughly enjoyed. No complaints with the food. Had Nachos sharer as an appetizer, followed by Louisiana Hot Mess Chicken burger for Mains - which was Ok without being great. Had a nice Samuel Adams pint on tap too. RECOMMEND.

Always come here when I'm craving a gluten free burger. Absolutely brilliant! Only suggestion I'd give is to toast the bun a bit to give it a bit more texture and integrity (I used to run a kitchen including making burgers so I'm very particular!). Thank you

We visited this branch yesterday (Sunday late afternoon) and was quite disappointed. There wasn't any atmosphere at all, most of the staff were short and abrupt. There wasn't much choice on the menu and there was a huge delay bringing the food out. My children ages 8 and 10 who begged us to go there wanted to walk out as the wait was so long. Only 1 member of staff was friendly and it was overall expensive for what we had.

Having loved the one back in Australia it was awesome to be able to go to another restaurant in a different country and enjoy the same great service and food. The menu is slightly different but as it is constantly evolving there was nothing wrong with that. The service was great from start to finish. My attendant Cat or Catherine was wonderful and always made sure I had everything I needed. The food as always was delicious. The steak cooked perfectly. The only problem I ever have in this place is not being able to fit all the food in. Thank you for making me feel at home last night 11/9.

Popped in here as I love their sesame chicken strips. It was pretty busy but we managed to get a table. After being seated the service was really slow. Obviously every table was full so service would be slower, but this was slower than it should have been. But when it came the food was delicious. I'd definitely go again, just at a quieter time.

After a day at the Warner Bros studio, found this little gem just a few minutes drive away. Even though it was super busy and we hadn't booked, they managed to squeeze us in. Food was lovely, quite a few options for GF and a free dessert when you signed up to the app 👏 Special mention to Tina (our server) who was absolutely lovely! My first time in a TGIs & after this I will definitely be going again!

A large roomy restaurant with plenty of parking. Very comfortable and the food is served hot. The bottomless soft drinks are good value. The Louisiana Hot Mess chicken burger is really tasty and the ribs, chicken strips were excellent. Staff helpful though slow. A great place to visit with family for a meal.

TGI never fails to disappoint. It's inexpensive and usually really good food. I quite like their starter and main deal. The staff are A star and parking is free. I love the fact that salmon is back on the menu. It was gone for the longest while. They had placed sea bass on the menu instead. I was not such a fan of that. What is a bit of a downer is that the veggies that come with the salmon just include peppers and squash. That just killed the presentation of the meal. The salmon itself was still tasty though. For the real TGI lovers.... Haven't you guys noticed that the mash is not as creamy as it use to be 7 or so years ago? That's what initially hooked me to TGI funny enough and now it's just plain mash. Just an observation.

We haven't been to this TGI Fridays in a while and were hoping for a better experience. We booked a table for 6pm and when we arrived we were told it would be needed for 7.45pm. Fair enough - except we didn't actually get our mains until 7.20pm. The service was so slow, and part of the food we ordered was not hot when it did arrive. One of the meals also had the wrong sides. They did sort out any issues we had, but after waiting so long, you start to lose your appetite. The food itself was ok. Most of us had burgers, but they weren't anything special and certainly not as good as the ones we had on our last visit. Will we go back... definitely no - we are going to be sticking to our other local franchised favourite.

Had a family meal in tgi Watford north in all fairness the waiter was friendly and as helpful as he could be considering how overwhelmed he was!they were incredibly slow and I do me slow 1:15 before the starter’s arrived then a further 50 minutes for the mains to Arrive the food was decent enough but all in all two drinks each a starter and a main took us just over three hours we wanted desert but just didn’t have the time to wait as we had to get the kids to bed.the staff are doing there best it would seem but there just aren’t enough of them to run a restaurant this busy.average at best if you have the time to wait.

Went for dinner on bank holiday Monday May.22 at 4pm after a day trip to Harry Potter studio tour down the road. Wasn't as busy as we expected for BH Monday. However, took us just over 1hr for our food to arrive. Staff very pleasant and appologetic though for the wait. Food was very nice when it arrived and restaurant was clean.

Staff were friendly and service overall was ok. But watch out if you have any allergies, as only a manager can take and bring the order. We had a standard and GF starter the same and standard was originally given to GF person. Lucky it was quickly rectified and a medium steak arrived as rear. All that aside is was very busy and the experience was fine.

Really enjoyed everything about our experience today. Really friendly staff which puts me in the best mood to begin with. It is our daughters birthday and they all made a fuss and made her feel really special. We have eaten here early on a Sunday morning 11.30 before going to the Harry Potter tour. We have not felt rushed at all and the portion size is really good. So much so I could go back to bed and have a sleep to help digest it

We'll...it's a TGI Fridays. Service comes dressed in dated uniforms, harking back to the golden post-war years that we never had in Britain. The obligatory chirpy cookie-cutter happiness is there too. It's 18h30 and my wife and I get ushered to a two-seater...in the toddlers section. Why - the rest of the place is empty? Lugunitas DayTime - not a great beer, but the best you're going to get. My rating would have been a 2, were it not for the consistently good "Ultimate Margaritas" - a TGI stalwart. Starters were reasonable - lightly fried prawns and crisp (but fairly oily) onion rings. The main event - a crispy duck salad and Jack Daniel ribs. The former was substantial but the duck gratings looked nothing like the significant chunks in the photo. I'm sure there was added sugar too, as the whole thing was unnaturally sweet. With Brexit clearly biting, the portion of ribs seemed smaller than I remember them. And dryer. And a little sad. Not hugely rewarding or satisfying. What ruined the meal was the atrocious music piped to all corners of the restaurant that made conversation all but impossible. Personal playlists have no place in a public restaurant - please stick to background Muzak and low volumes. Sadly, as Little England leaves the EU, and the quality eating establishments start closing down in the wake of the inevitable economic collapse, I fear the only eateries that will the left in the Brexit Wastelands will be TGI's and similar low-end chains. It's sad to see the decline of a once great country towards the lowest common denominator, embodied by TGI. Have a nice day. 'Murica first...

Nice environment, loved the decor. I was with 4 others and we all enjoyed the food. Great value for money. The one I went to was in Watford as I was staying close by for a weekend away. I just wish that there was one local to me.

We have been going to TGI Fridays for a few years now. However, due to Covid we hadn't been for well over a year. We were delighted that the food was as good as it always had been. My husband ordered king prawns & tagliatelle . It arrived and unfortunately it was tepid but our waitress took it away and the chef warmed it up. There were plenty of prawns and it was delicious. My friend & I had salads. My friend had the Cobb one and I had chicken and avocado. Both were very tasty and the presentation on both was excellent.Our waitress was friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Good food, reasonable service. A bit pricey for what we ate (and the waiter was a little naughty, I ordered classic ribs £15 approx. Was told they only had the double ribs options which is "only a couple of quid more.." £23 is a little more than a couple of quid more expensive). That's the trouble with replacing the menu with a website I guess. However we enjoyed the meal so it was worth it in the end. Would definitely go again.

All my family were happy with their food and it came without too long a delay. Right next to the motorway and the Premier Inn so perfect for visitors. Also not too pricey. Overall very glad we came.

Though pleasant and exuberant, was altogether a little strange, taking a lot of time to explain that the kitchen has a fridge that was larger than the freezer.... And all the food was fresh.... I was surprised by this place as I'd never been before. Steak was lovely and the side salad was a decent sized salad too. The bruchetta starter was huge so a good job we were sharing. Staff were also very nice and helpful. Downside - Onion rings were not nice the onions inside was covered in black bits and tasted funny.

Probably the best child friendly experience I have ever had at a chain restaurant. It's the little things that count with a toddler; veg sticks before we ordered, brilliant activity set, balloon animal modelling and proactively asking if we wanted child meal when it was ready. Proactively refilled the refills! Happy to provide cutlery and plates for brought in birthday cake as well. Food was very nice too and whole experience makes me hope not just isolated to this franchise!

Great upgraded menu provides loads of selections - making you spoilt for choice. Absolutely loved the cocktail menu providing so much adorable and exciting options, you really would not know what to select. Prices - you can share a delectable night out for approximately £60 budget. Staff - courteous and professional service, and good hospitality from our host. Would definitely recommend this venue which also has good parking spaces.

Food is always amazing. So much choice. I LOVE the canfy cloud cocktail, its basically a huge strawberry milkshake, with alcohol, and candy floss and popping candy! Tasty! Jack daniels sauce is gorgeous too. However portions here are stupidly big, and I often can't manage more than one course, let alone side orders or desserts, which is a shame. Prices are dear, but not for the amount of food u get. It's often a good idea to share!

I don't normally write reviews, but have made an exception on this occasion because of the absurdity of some of the negative reviews. Having read some of them below, my wife and I were a little hesitant to say the least about eating at this establishment. However, the reality couldn't be further from the truth. We were staying at the adjacent Premier Inn during a visit to the nearby Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour, so this was an easy choice for an evening meal. First impressions count at lot and TGI Friday's more than delivered the goods if I am honest. We were expecting the worse, but all I can say is that many of the negative views posted must be from people who are expecting a five star restaurant. This is essentially a themed fast food chain that serves simple grub. It's isn't a Michelin-starred restaurant, so if you expect nouvelle cuisine then you'll be disappointed. However, if you want nice, quick and simple food like burgers, ribs and steak, then you're in for a treat. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff as soon as we walked in the door, who then showed us to a booth. Within the space of a minute, another member of staff greeted us warmly and with a huge smile, taking our drinks order first then returning a few minutes later to take our food order. I ordered the Jack Daniels burger and my wife had the chicken. Both came within 20 minutes and were pipping hot. Also, the portion size was generous. Our plates were clean and so were the knifes and forks. Have no idea where another reviewer got the idea that plates were covered in grease. Ours were very clean. There was some grease, but that was from the burger. It is literally impossible to plate up food like burgers or ribs without getting some of it on the plate. What planet do these reviewers live on? If you're staying nearby like we did, then this is a good option. It's a short stroll from the hotel, plays good music, has friendly staff, reasonable priced drinks and great themed restaurant food.

I've often gone to this restaurant so this is more of an all over review...they need to have more waiters/waitresses/waitrons. The restaurant is always only half full and yet the service is the slowest I have ever experienced. And this happens everytime. You stand by the door for 5 mins desperately trying to catch someone's eye to seat you. You then wait 15 mins for a drink...best order your starters, mains and dessert at the same time as he/she/it is not going to be back to your table anytime soon. Apart from really slow service it is always friendly, the servers always look stressed and laugh nervously when you converse with them, food is good but horribly overpriced for what it is. So overall I would recommend the place if you got the time and the money.

Our first time to visit TGI on the 6 feb this year about 7 pm , the food was amazing and the staff was really friendly they spoilt our son on his birthday they bought out piece birthday cake and sang to him ,the place was really busy the reason im only giving 3 stars are there was a older muscular man sat by the bar and a few younger boys the older mans language towards a male member of staff was appalling and he was quite intimidating to the worker who was cleaning the tables he was swearing and pointing at him and following him around the place while he was working ,each time the male worker appeared in place to clean another table he would be targeted by this older guy who looked like any minute he was going to hit him and shouting swearing ,all the other staff totally was ignoring this to me the man should of been asked to leave but the workers seem to have been afraid of him ,its really not what i would call a ideal place to eat or work with customers allowed to treat staff like this and get away with it i was glad to leave with my son as this man really had the staff scared and i feel sorry for the man working there having to put up with that while only doing his job
