This was recommended to us by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Lovely authentic décor and greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our table and took our drinks order which had a good selection. Then we got to order our food so it was all you can eat for £20 p/p and the food quality was top notch and freshly cooked each time so we shared 8 starters and then did 8 mains all exceptional quality and good portion sizes. We will definitely return again.

I’ve frequented this restaurant since 2015 and I have to say it’s always been a good experience. Although getting a little tired in places, the way this place is done out is very nice, it’s got character with the bridge, water and lighting - it sets an ambiance. My advice would be to order 4 starters (if there is 2 of you..) and 4 mains, you can always order more if you want. We did 6+6 between us and my god I was full after!! Food is tasty with portions being about right.

E&O is a firm family favourite for us! We have visited a number of times and have never been disappointed. The food is super tasty, always hot and fresh and there are so many options to choose from! The service is fantastic and you are never rushed but always encouraged to take your time and enjoy. The all-you-can-eat option is a no-brainer - such great value! The restaurant itself is stunning with authentic Chinese decor and a great atmosphere. New Years Eve was our latest visit and the restaurant was incredibly busy. This didn't phase the staff at all - it was still very much service with a smile and the food was just as hot and delicious as it always is - credit to the chef(s)! We always look forward to our next visit!

We went here for my husbands birthday and as a large party, I was amazed at the service. All staff were friendly and helpful. A member of the party had a severe fish allergy and they were amazing at giving options and making sure it was possible for them to enjoy their meal. Such amazing food. Will definitely be back soon.

Amazing! Food was delicious. My family love going here as it is all you can eat off such an extensive menu, plus vs other all you can eat places, the food is cooked fresh and I cant fault the taste. The ordering system is a bit weird as you are given a paper menu where you tick what you want. I would advise just when you give your order to the waiter confirming how many servings of the dishes you would like (depending on group size). Also note that dependent on how many of you there are, impacts how many dishes you can order at a time. But dont worry, you can order sooo much food overall. Deffo work the money

A big difference with the meal we had here 2 years ago. The service was very good, but the food was not so. Besides, we paid in cash a bit more than the bill stated. No change was offered even the bill included service charge 10%. We most probably would leave the change, but we did not have that choice. You lost us as customers.

We went to celebrate Chinese New year with a friend it was a really nice place. The service was very good, they were able to make dishes for that were gluten free and suitable for my diet. I felt this was easy for them since so many of the dishes are created from scratch and many I couldn't have were mainly related to being marinaded.

Some dishes were great... some average. I think with local knowledge of the menu you can have a good meal here. I'm not sold on the all you can eat concept as I think some of dishes suffered due to lack of premium ingredients. However I did enjoy the prawn toast which normally I hate!

Wow, just wow. I mean, how amazing is this place? A couple of my friends took me here at the weekend, they couldn't believe I'd not heard of it before. It was clear to see why the place was jam packed. Reservations are an absolute must have. The car park is tad frustrating due to it's size, travel as a group as much as possible, there isn't a huge amount of space. (Unless that was just down to the birthday parties). The next day I was already making plans with people to go back 😄 the food was just amazing. The price...🤯 I didn't realise it was a buffet. We just kept ordering plate after plater after plate. Between us we shared 14 or 15 dishes (you better believe we ate it all) 5 cokes and a beer. It came in at just £100 on a Saturday night of all times! Oh man, I just can't get over how good the food was, I REALLY need to go back.

Fantastic all you can eat buffet , good variety lovely place to have group meal, special occasion or not. Service can be a bit hit and miss and couple dishes come out cold but what can you expect. Pretty good - went on a busy Saturday night- and service was good. Ribs (pieces) were a bit poor in quality and some other meats were not fantastic but rest was good. We didn't have many drinks but a third of the bill was for drinks.

Had a fantastic takeaway from Eastern and oriental £13.40 for seaweed sweet and sour chicken and rice fantastic value for money. Will definitely come again and it only took 15 mins too collect :) five stars!! Edit been there recently for a meal and wouldn't recommend the restaurant they charge £22.99 for unlimited food when reality your not going to have that much the service wasn't good either they got our order wrong and they also added a 10% service charge. Best for takeaways. Far to expensive other wise.

Just Fabulous! This evening I dinned at Eastern Oriental and had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely caring and attentive especially the kind gentleman in charge. Our starters came out quickly and were absolutely delicious! The mains were also incredible and packed with flavour! When I visited the restaurant there was a rather loud baby that was bothering many customers, I noticed the staff politely asking the mother if she was able to calm the baby down. After over half an hour the baby was still loudly crying and was very negatively impacted our table and others experience. I noticed the staff went back over to try and explain to the family that they may need to leave if the child continue to cry so uncontrollably. This seemed fairly appropriate for the restaurant to do as many people had asked to be moved away from the family but couldn't due to the restaurant being at full occupancy. I was then very shocked that the family decided to try and stand up and leave in reaction to this! They then very loudly exclaimed they weren't happy to pay the bill after the owner gave them multiple discounts as an apology for making them feel 'unwelcome'. It really upset me seeing a family treat a small business with such disrespect when in reality you should know how your child will behave in a restaurant setting. Once the family left I could see how upset the staff and owner had become over the situation as it was very clear they weren't being malicious but in fact trying to create the best environment for everyone to enjoy a tasty dinner. I also know for a fact that this restaurant is child friendly as Ive taken my nieces and nephew here multiple times and never had an issue, but they have never disrupted a fully booked restaurant for over 30 mins! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and all families with children that understand the behaviour expected in ANY restaurant. Also my personal favourite/recommendation is the duck! its a must try!!

Cheap and cheerful, all you can eat type dining for £20, fresh and reasonably tasty however very much a Hong Kong style Chinese with sweet sauces such as sweet and sour, black bean, lemon chicken etc. Personally not my favourite as prefer authentic dishes, yet I can't deny this offers good value and was reasonably busy yet not too loud. Nice and clean with friendly staff and for those points I've awarded an extra star.

Bearing in mind the location and the lack of public transport nearby, it feels like there's more tables than parking spaces, so on a busy evening parking seems to be people abandoning their cars wherever there's room

Went for dinner with a group of 5 house mates. Covid precautions are straight as you walk in which is perfect, hand sanitation and temperature checks. Seated a good distance from other diners. The drinks came out fast, food was delicious, hot and again came promptly. A great meal at great value.

we've been visiting this place for about 4 years. we've been many times. sadly though our last 3 experiences haven't been great and we've decided we won't be visiting again. although the food is still lovely, it's like you're limited with it now. Before they used to bring out enough food each time to feed the table. now it's done in dribs and drabs, and you find yourself waiting ages to get a top up. it's supposed to be a buffet... but you're made to feel you can't eat much. non of us have huge appetites, but when you look forward to dining out you're quite hungry by the time your get there. it took 4 of us nearly 3 hours just to have starters and mains.. because they brought so little out we need to keep waiting to have top ups. the restaurant is beautiful and the food is nice... but I'm not paying for an all you can eat buffet when you're made to feel you're limited on what you order. thanks for the previous 3 years though. they were fabulous.

A friend took me here, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Great Buffet style place, where you can eat as much as you like (but don't order too much, as it is frowned upon). Tasty and hot, it gives you the opportunity to try things you wouldn't normally try or find. Car park could be better at the back however, as when busy, there's no space!

Took wife here for our anniversary staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely amazing and we were in and out in an hour and a half . Great surroundings great location. Only reason for loosing a star was we were both very cold in there being as it's November and felt like they had air conditioning on . So had a nice cup of English tea. Been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food is amazing, plenty of choice and I love the fact that its cooked to order all for a set price. Booking in advance is advisable, however we have just turned up a couple of times and managed to get seated (that has been on a weekday though) Only fault I could say is the 10% service charge on the bill, I prefer to leave a tip that I decide is appropriate for the service received, which is normally excellent anyway!

visited on a sat night in late January. place was busy we call earlier to get a table booked and only available time was 9pm we thought it was a bit late but we got there 20min earlier and table was already available. staff 5 stars we order lots of food all come very quick. the food is amazing, tasty all fresh and in good small portions we tried about 20 different dishes. you can order as many portions or dishes you want. im not local but if i was defo i will visit often. only downside is service charge is added to the bill. we almost left 30 pounds tip as we didn't realise this was already added to the bill and asked them to add more money to the card payment. service charge should be optional. we paid 120 with service charge including drinks for 4 adults.

The thai red curry tasted very similar to one that I have cooked in the past with a supermarket jar of Thai sauce. The aubergine dish I had was tasty and would have again. Good local restaurant.

We have been many times to this restaurant as it is great value for money and the food is fabulous. We tend to have lots of starters and reorder some of them throughout the meal. If there is something you don't like in a dish the chef will take it out or add extra chilli etc. The service is good with the waiters visible at all times. If I ever move house I will still come back to the Eastern and Oriental.

We visited here at 12.30pm for the lunchtime session to celebrate my son's 26th birthday. I originally booked online for 1pm but last orders for the kitchen are at 1.45pm so the manager called me to suggest we came at 12.30pm. I mentioned on my booking form that I needed the allergy menu as I am Allergic to dairy and soya. When we arrived they gave us the menus but no allergy menu, this was fine as every dish has the allergens listed underneath the only issue was that most dishes contained soya, so I spoke to the waiter. He was great and spoke to the chef about every dish I wanted to ask if he could make it without soya, apart from the duck everything I requested was possible so I had a feast! My appetisers were brought out on a separate plate for just me and the main dishes were pointed out for me, he was very helpful and wanted me to have as much food as I wanted and helped me to do so. The restaurant closes at 2pm on a Saturday lunchtime however we left at 3pm and all the staff had left apart from the manager. She was not rushing us out and was very friendly, even bringing my son's cake out with lit candles and providing plates and a knife to cut it up. We really enjoyed out visit and would love to go there again.

Eat here a lot. Food is always good and plentiful (if you want more, just ask). Recent visit a little disappointing as went for romantic dinner to celebrate wedding anniversary , and were sat near a table of about 8 unsupervised children who spent the entire evening shouting at each other and playing music loudly on their phones. The parents were sat at the other end of the restaurant on two tables (men on one, women on the other), totally oblivious to what was going on. Three other group of diners asked to be moved,but the proprietors did nothing to either get the children to behave themselves or get the parents to do so. The waiting staff just kept apologising.

I am a regular Chinese customer of the Eastern and Oriental restaurants. I tend to visit at least twice a month with friends and family. There has never once been a problem! (They have many parking spaces in the front and behind of the restaurant, and the toilets are very clean) As soon as you walk in you are met with the beautiful decor! The staff were all very pleasant and all smiling. The service was quick and smooth on all visits. I have tried almost everything off of their menu, and I have to say my favourite dish is the duck pancake, i HIGHLY recommend that. They also do takeaway which is such a bonus!!! I really recommend this restaurant. Alone or in a group, it is a great place to eat, and a great value for money!

Nice Chinese Restaurant in Chobham. We turned up at about 20.00 on a Monday evening in late January. The place was about a third full. The decor was nice. The service was good and the food was a mix of Malaysian, Thai and Chinese. I recognised many of the dishes from living in Kuala Lumpur. They took a few shortcuts but overall the food was good. The bill for three, with two drinking Tsing Tao and Tiger, and a driver on soft drinks was around £100. It seems to be an all you can eat buffet for around £18 a head. I'd go again.
