A very bright with sparkling white tablecloths. The service was good. Great if you like lots of freebies, ice cream, segments of oranges, sweets and a drink. ( My only concern was the sexism- Brandy for men and Bailey's for women, you were not given a choice!) My curry, the Balti- a regional speciality was gloopy a very different one from my expectations.

A first rate evening out with 3 of my girlfriends. The service was excellent and the food - second to none! Jay and the boys were very attentive without being pushy. We were treated to a gorgeous complimentary starter and the sweetest Orange slices along with Candy-store sweeties and ice-cream at the end of our meal. Then Jay brought out a beautiful chocolate Birthday cake for our friend Jane complete with a most impressive arrangement of sparklers singing 'Happy Birthday'. And to finish off the evening, we were given not one, but TWO glasses of Baileys on Ice! Even their excellent chef Chowdhury came out to say hello. And I wasn't even going to go! See you again on the 10th of Feb lads!

It was our first visit to Massalla Lounge. We pre-booked a table using the app which was very quick to respond and easy to use and our booking we accepted. When we arrived at 7.15pm the restaurant was fairly busy but we were seated in no time as staff came to help us straight away. The waiter was very jovial, a bit of a comedian and made us relax and settle into our night out. All the staff were very attentive, courteous, friendly, pationate about making our visit enjoyable and comfortable We had poppadoms to start with the pickle tray and then my wife had Chicken Chat (albeit it was called something else on the menu) and I had onion baji. We decided to share a Chicken Balti main with pilau rice and chips and there was plenty of food. The food was piping hot, very tasty and plenty of it to share. There was plenty of choice on the menu which was great to see. We had a great night and would definitely recommend anyone popping in as we will certainly be going back again soon 5*

Best Indian food we had in a long time. Service was exceptional. Friendly staff, chef/owner came out to chat. A very comfortable and welcoming venue with a diverse menu offering a broader range of dishes and flavours than most Indian restaurants. There is also a reassuring flexibility which caters for those with dietary needs. Vegetarians can access most if not all the dishes with a meat substitute. One of the best Indian meals I've had in a long time. Service is very prompt, food is there in no time and the staff are very helpful. We visited Massalla Lounge on a busy Saturday evening and were warmly welcomed at the door. We had booked and I think that was a good thing. Unusually for us we ordered a bottle of red wine to accompany the meal – it was ‘just’ a bottle of house red. What we were given was an Italian Merlot which was fruity and a hint of spice. It perfectly accompanied the spicy food we had ordered. Then menu has many many options for meat eaters, fish eaters and vegetarians. We chose a sharing platter to start with grilled king prawns, tandoori chicken and seasoned grilled lamb chops, served with salad and onions. The King Prawns were amazing and so easy to remove from their shells, the chicken was moist and the lamb chop divine. This perfectly cooked and seasoned starter had certainly set a very high bar for the rest of the meal. Main course was Chicken Jalfrazi FattyCat and I had the Seafood Delight. I have a rice intolerance so only had the curries with Naan breads. The seafood delight (Mild) was packed with King Prawn, shrimps and salmon in a sauce that tasted of the sea and was delicately spiced. It was so filling that unfortunately I only ate 1/4 of my light fluffy naan. FattyCat said his Chicken Jalfrazi was the best he had ever had. The sauce was thick and the chicken was not over cooked. It looked amazing. Dessert was Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream, slices of Orange and a pick & mix selection of sweets. To complete the meal we were given a complimentary Bailey shot. Throughout our visit the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. They also had a sense of humour. Everything was just wonderful. We will certainly be returning.

We saw the reviews for Massalla Lounge so we visited tonight .First off we want to say a big thank you to the two waiters who looked after us so well Jibrann & Abdul . The food was amazing they accomadated all our different requests. First time we have ever seen Judie using her fan as they done her a Phal & Vindaloo .The homemade Lamb was recommended and the lamb melted in your mouth .The chicken was chunks not cubes as advised and enjoyed by everyone. Lovely touch with the free orange icecream Bailey's & whiskey. Would definitely recommend.

We visit Massalla Lounge last night and had a wonderful experience. We had a small sample plater as a starter, Onion Pakora and Tandoori Chicken. It was cooked very fresh and was very tasty. As a main course I had Chicken Massalla with peshwari naan, it was absolutely delicious, the flavors where amazing, food melted in my mouth. . Portion is very generous and I could not finish it. My husband had chicken vindaloo with plain naan. He commented the same about the flavors..food well cooked and tasted fresh. Our server Abdul was very polite and attentive. He brought us ice cream and a selection of candy to mix. It was one of the best Indian Meals we had in a long time. Great food, very polite staff and a nice ambiance, perfect combination for a night out. And bill did not break the bank at the end

Whilst my chicken tikka biryani was really tasty, I was not impressed by how the staff here didn't adhere to COVID 19 guidelines. They asked me to wear a mask, sanitise and check in (which I was going to do anyway), so why then did all the staff wear masks around their chins? They expect the customer to respect the guidelines, so why not respect the customer in return? It's up to them if they want to put themselves at risk, but it is not fair to make no attempt to protect others. I am a nurse who has worked on COVID wards, and I've seen first hand how young people too get very sick and go on to suffer debilitating long COVID. Tables were not distanced either. I shall not be returning here. The waiter asked me to leave a review (before my food even arrived), so here is my honest review.

I came here with two friends visiting Worcester on holiday, and we enjoyed the meal so much that we returned two days later. Both the service and food were excellent and restaurant is roomy and well lit. We tried out the meal deal on our first visit, which was three courses for £14.95 and we were delighted with our selection. Service was really nice, food was really prompt and tasted great, and their naan breads were amazing. What happened after the meal really made it. As soon as our plates were taken away, we were brought some ice-cream that appeared to be free (not on the bill) some fresh cut oranges, and small shot of brandy each. It wasn't something we'd requested, but it was a very nice surprise. They then offered us some coffees on the house. The bill was brought over with some small sweets and mints, and the waiter shook our hands on the way out! Recommended, and I would go back.

Incredible food, excellent service, clean seating. The portions are a good size and we were given the complimentary orange slices and ice cream at the end. Only thing I can knock are the toilets for the gents, one tap dribbles and the other is a power washer. Looks like the building has been refurbished but they havnt got to thr toilets. Either way, anything less than 5/5 would be an insult. My girlfriend is not a giant fan of spicey food but she LOVED the food here, no matter how much sweat was dripping off of our foreheads! 5/5 10/10 WILL be going again.

The expectation was to have one course meal on Christmas Eve yet this was exceeded greatly!
