Absolutely amazing food! Monday-Wednesday is only £1 per ounce which is a fantastic deal. The sharing starter platter was the perfect amount for 2 people. The main which me and my partner picked (butchers cut steak) came with fries and a side salad, we added the extras of spinach and cauliflower cheese which accompanied the steak perfectly! The staff were really polite and courteous. Parking outside the building was only for 45 minutes but there is also private off road parking around the back of the restaurant which you can stay at for 2 hours. I Would definitely recommend trying out the food if your a steak lover or if your in and around Worcester.

The food was of the most excellent quality and I would without doubt recommend it. Fillet steak literally was melt in the mouth. Service was great; welcoming and helpful. The only disappointment for me was the seating, which was too low for the tables and required extra cushions. I think the idea was to make it more lounge style, but it felt like you weren't in a good eating position, feeling rather awkward and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience of Ounce was pleasant and the cosy atmosphere made for a very delightful evening.

My partner and I visited Ounce to celebrate my birthday in August. As it was a Wednesday, the restaurant had a fantastic mid-week offer of £1 per 1oz of sirloin steak, cut to the size you request. Both my partner and I decided to have a 24oz steak each and we weren’t disappointed! The steak was cooked to perfection and really tender and juicy. Both were served with chips and salad. The cocktail menu has a great selection of drinks to suit all tastes, and they even made a non-alcoholic strawberry mojito for partner as he doesn’t drink alcohol. The atmosphere within the restaurant was lovely, really chilled out vibes and beautiful decor! The staff were lovely, and very knowledgeable about both the food and drinks menu. Even took the time to answer any of our questions about the origins of the meat. Only downside is that the restaurant doesn’t have a private car park, but there is plenty of parking available on the roadside and surrounding areas. Overall, we had a great time and can’t wait to visit again!

First visit here for a lunch on my son's birthday. Starting with the downside, no air conditioning so rather warm on this hottest day ever in the UK! The food was excellent, 4 out if 5 of us had the steaks offer of £1 per ounce on Tuesdays, all cooked perfectly and we each had different. My ex husband was particularly pleased as there were no raised eyebrows when he asked for a well done steak!!!! The skin on chips were spot on tasty. My husband enjoyed the chicken off the main menu. The service was swift and all staff pleasant. An interesting building too. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant but not in 36° heat.

Saw Ounce recommended on a local Facebook page and desperately wanted to try it. It was even better than I expected. The staff were fantastic and despite being busy, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere in the outdoor cabin was so wonderful even though we were the only ones in there!!! I have nothing negative to say for which I apologise!!!

Also look out for special offers as Tues/weds is £1 per ounce and Thurs they have an offer on chateaubriand if you like that :)

Tried the Sunday lunch and chose the Lamb Shank. It was nice but the vegetables (carrots, courgettes & tender stem broccoli were just a bit too al dente; 2 Roast potatoes, 1 Yorkshire pudding and no gravy £18. I was disappointed because the steaks are outstanding & I will stick to using it as a steak house.

We’ve eaten in the best steakhouses in NY We’ve eaten Wagyu in Australia We’ve tried the best London has to offer But... but little old Worcester has a restaurant that tops them all, no joke. I can’t comment on all the steaks 🥩 but the tomahawk special me and the wife shared last night was out of this world. Cooked to utter perfection, melt in the mouth tender, flavour bursts those taste buds into over-drive!! I didn’t have a desert, I was stuffed, but the trouble and strife loved her chocolate brownie. Staff were great, especially the guy with the glasses(sorry I didn’t get your name if you read this) The fork handles red wine is bostin, must try if you like a red, they also gave us a cocktail each as it was our anniversary, lovely touch. 100% will be back

Had the pleasure of eating at Ounce tonight for the first time. Had a 20oz butchers cut for £20 on the £1 per ounce night. Was not disappointed. I would urge anyone who likes a good steak to give this a try, as you will struggle to find better value and quality. Our waitress Tabatha was fab too. There is little left to be desired with the food, a superb selection of cuts and cooked to perfection. Our cocktails and drinks were also excellent. Unfortunately, when being seated we were not informed of the table only being ours for 90 minutes. This meant that we were rushed from our table with little over 10 minutes notice, not fantastic when we had a bottle of wine we had ordered during dinner. If you want a fantastic steak with excellent drinks, this really is the place to go. It’s just such a shame the end of our meal was ruined without us knowing the turnaround time.

The atmosphere, the service, the good, the whole lot is just amazing! I always go on a Tuesday or Wednesday for the deal buuuuut I would happily pay more the steak. The BEST STEAK ever (I've been about 15 times soooo it's not a one off trust me!) With it being a great deal, you guys are always busy but always never fail to make sure we are not forgotten about or there is no long wait. Definitely a shout out to Bradley who I see every time I come, he has the best customer service I've ever seen (I work in a cafe so I know sometimes it get hard) but he is always so helpful, officiant and caring. Oof course all the other staff are amazing too and encourage me and my husband to come every month (if we can!) Sorry about the essay buuuut I've been meaning to give you guys a review for ages! Visited on a Sunday and got to enjoy their incredible Sunday Roast offering. It was our first time and I cannot sing this place's praises enough. Steaks were brillianr...cooked to perfection which is quiet difficult for proper thick cuts of steak. 'Chips' were great ad was the steak sauce too. Ample servings and good value too. So got recommended this place by a customer at my work and went on a Tuesday for my partners birthday. A pound an ounce deal is amazing! The first bite of our 10oz rump steak and it was delicious!! Cooked to perfection and the skin on fries were amazing!! I've told all my friends it is a must to visit there. Only costing me £28 including our drinks, fantastic meal and great atmosphere. Having lived in Africa, I was brought up on decent steaks, and Ounces meat delivered on flavour, texture and really great seasoning. Lovely bar and restaurant with an inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious but for the price I expected more on the plate. My partner had a 10oz steak with fries and a salad, the fries portion was tiny and so was the salad. I had the Norfolk Chicken roast and while this was lovely, it was severed with a small selection of vegetables but quite a few potatoes. I would have preferred it to be the other way round.

Love this place! Looks and feels great and the food we had was delicious. We booked a table of 6 for a late Sunday roast. We were warned over the phone that some menu item might have run out by the time we ate so book earlier in the afternoon for maximum choice. I'm told the beef was excellent (thanks for sharing MUM!!) and my confit pork belly couldn't have been any better! Really decent portions to and very reasonable prices. We had mid priced wines with our meals, white and red, which were both very good. Almost too full for deserts but we squeezed a couple in! Would have liked to custard on there as an option after a roast but I'm scratching around to find fault in the place! Can't wait to go back to try the steaks which I hear very good news things about!

Booked this hearing from a friends about it, this is a great place it eat if you love steaks and having different cuts of steak, with the ability to order it by the ounce (hence the name) I suspect. The food was of really good quality and not highly priced, came served extremely professionally. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too and were always around to help. Well worth a visit.

Superb food, best value and great service. If you are out on a Tue/Wed lunchtime and partial to a bit of steak, look no further. The quality of the meat at £1 per ounce is amazing. My wife and I chose 6 Oz and 9 Oz steaks which come with mushrooms, crispy fries and a parmesan salad. They were cooked to perfection and served with a cheery smile. £25 all in with drinks and coffee. . I'm sure the meals are great at other times but this deal is a must. Nicely decorated and dog friendly, who could ask for more?

Went for Sunday lunch. Atmosphere great, very pleasant staff, especially the waitress who was both good fun and very efficient. The one problem we had was that my partner had the prawn dish as a main meal, unfortunately during the evening and night she suffered chronic diarrhoea, which we have put down to one of the prawns being off. Otherwise the meal for the rest of the party was superb.

Having been given multiple positive reviews about Ounce since it opened, my first experience was lacking. Our 8pm booked table wasn't available until 9pm. We didn't get to order anything until another 30 mins later despite having been there for 1.5 hours already. Starters were good, but mains were moderately above average at best. For Worcester it's probably OK, but I've had much better food and service in more remote places than this. 3 stars and a heap of disappointment. Didn't live up to its reputation. Won't be going back any time soon.

This second edition of the former Marwoods steakhouse keeps the same cozy ambiance of a restaurant combined with the lively atmosphere of your local pub. You have the option of simply enjoying a drink or stepping into the eating quarters for a nice steak. As pluses, the taste of the steak is very good. The food is decently priced and does offer plenty of options for the beef cut connoisseur. From fillets to hangers to ribeyes, they have it all. Some priced by the dish, some by the ounce. The layout offers plenty of discretion for those of us who like to eat undisturbed. As minuses, the menus are a bit confusing and quite cheap looking. Computer typed A4 sheets of papers. Not a lot of side dishes. And also, as a personal experience, there was a massive spider watching us from the corner of the room. Not pleasant. Given the location and other steakhouses in Worcester, Ounce Bar and Kitchen positions itself comfortably in the middle.

Going to Ounce was a very last minute decision, i’ve wanted to try it for a while so I dragged the whole family there as we didn’t have any other plans. Between 6 of us we pretty much tried the entire menu, the food was spot on the steaks were all cooked beautifully not a bit of food left on my plate or anyone else’s the service was fantastic very polite staff good portion sizes but the best thing about Ounce was the sauces, we finally found a steak restaurant that doesn’t serve a week tastless sauce that runs into the dressing and bottom of the plate, the sauces are beautifully made flavoursome and just thick enough to coat the meat. Definitely a new favourite place to eat we will all be back again even the irritating kids enjoyed it.

Nice food but small on portion size for the price. Admittedly we're not fine diners, service was a little lacking and we objected to the discretionary 10% on the bill for party's over 8. We tip anyway but found this rather cheeky. Had we not pre booked as a large party in an unknown area, we'd have gone else where over this matter.
