Friendly, welcoming staff. Good variety on the menu and reasonable prices. Including vegetarian options, battered Mars & Snickers, cream cheese jalapeno and the classic pickled eggs. The chips were top notch too.

The Vita restaurant serves what must surely be the best fish and chips in Worthing, and possibly in the whole of Sussex. My wife and l had Rock Salmon (aka Huss or Rock Eel) and chips and it was fabulous. The chips were the best l have ever had from a chip shop and the fish was superbly cooked. £10.55 per portion, eaten in the restaurant which was spotlessly clean with friendly and helpful staff. The food was so good that l forgot to take photos of it! This restaurant is a real gem, l cannot recommend it highly enough.

Clean restaurant, very friendly and welcoming staff. Meal was absolutely fantastic 👌, cannot fault it. The Fish and chips were delicious, not too much batter and just the best chips, burgers were juicy and the chicken burger was by far the best my son had eaten. Ilkske was to die for, not overly priced for what we had, very good value for money. Happy we chose to eat there. 😁

Had cod and chips from here tonight. The chips were gorgeous! Big & fat, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft & fluffy inside. Lovely thin crispy batter on the fish too. Best fish & chips in Worthing. Quite reasonably priced too.

Chips 9/10 Fish 4/10 Lovely fat chips, crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Medium Cod was minute, more like a fillet had been cut in half so think you could see through it in places.

Just been out for the afternoon in Worthing. Stopped off for impromptu lunch at Vito’s. All three of us had Cod and chips OAP’ deal with a splendid glass of perfectly chilled white wine. The meal was super and very good value at £8.50 including the wine. The Young lady at the Cafe counter was very welcoming and friendly, as were the waitresses. We finished off our fish and chips with some delicious ice cream, all in all I would highly recommend Vito’s.

Clean and tidy. Food is freshly cooked, tastes as it should and prices are real world. Staff are friendly and polite. I eat here whenever i'm in town. Never have that horrible overused oil smell unlike another chip shop close by.

The restaurant was clean and tidy to start with. The people serving were friendly and cheerful, BUT THE FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. The fish was wonderful and fresh and the chips were some of the best I have had in quite a while. A real pleasure to eat here as never been before, but will definitely be going back. Service was fast and efficient as well as friendly. Well done to staff, really great place to eat.

Always amazing fish n chips, great customer service and a huge menu including kid's options, ice-cream and a decent selection of wines, spirits and beer. I had cod and the most delicious chips, crispy and juicy. And free condiments! Two adults, two kids all fed and watered for £27. I've tried a lot of chip shops around the UK and this has to be in the top five.

Lovely fish and chips and they do a pensioners meal for £7.50 for which you get fish and chips tea or coffee and buttered bread and it's really nice.

Despite being very busy, the staff were both well presented, polite and helpful. The place was clean and tidy. I noted that tables were cleaned quickly once folks had left. The food was served promptly and came in ample portions. The quality of the food was good albeit slightly pricey, although you are probably paying for the location near the beach. My children didnt like the sauce sachets as they pointed out it was a lot of wasted plastic for a little sauce. The place was bright and airy. We would definetly return.

My wife and I have been visiting Worthing for over 20 years and we normally park our car somewhere near the Bowling club. Once we have parked we take a leisurely stroll along the prom making our way to what we class as the best fish and chips along the South Coast. The chippy used to be called Macari's and we knew Angelo very well, mainly for the service and the superb quality of the fish and chips, fortunately since the "take over" /name change to Vita the quality of the food and the service is still excellent, so well done Guys for carrying on with the tradition. I thought the tea was weak and watery. Relatively expensive for fish and chips for the quality served which were fatty and over crisp. The food was bashed down in the table rather than gently placed down. A plate was taken away whilst the other person was still eating. No waiter service to table. Have to order and pay in advance at till. Easy things to rectify.
