Nando's fans, had to book on arrival and was advised 30 mins, actual wait was about 15 mins so nice surprise. No paper menus so used the QR code on the table to look at the menu and order, great idea but probably not good for everyone but you could still order at the bar. Meals arrived in good time but 2 dishes were incorrect, however the staff quickly replaced so no problem at all.

Visited today the 24th December & were delighted to see the place bubbling with guest, staff in Christmas mood & place well decorated. Kids can be kept busy with colour crayons & painting. Tried chicken grill burgers, peri peri chicken & kids meal. Delicious treat, service was fast & friendly staff.

Have had mixed experiences here. They've got my order wrong once and lost the order completely another time. When they get it right the food is decent quality and very tasty. Clean environment with comfortable seating. Can get busy at peak times but if you give them your mobile number they'll text when your table is free so you can take a stroll around in the meantime.

Great Nandos. Prepared and cooked nicely, perhaps a little dry but not enough to knock a star off. Service was a little slow and I had to ask for glasses for the drinks we'd ordered and butter for the sweetcorn, but it was very busy so to be expected.

A manager asked if we wanted a table for two. In a nearly empty restaurant we said yes, he asked us to sit and wait gave us menus. After two more couples came in and were seated by a young man he noticed we were sat waiting he came over we explained what had happened he took us straight to a table, thank goodness for a lovely young man.

Great place to eat some peri-peri chicken! Worth the wait at busy times (you can get put on a waiting list and be texted when table is ready) and is good value for the amount of food you order. Is very good for catering to all tastes with the selection of sauces allowing you to make things as hot as you can handle!

For one reason or another I've not been to Nandos for years. Even though I love it. The food was as it should be, and chicken livers were lovely. There was things missing from the order but this was corrected with no cost pretty quickly, and the frozen yoghurt didn't work for the kids but was replaced with costlier desert, so all ok.

Super impressed with the customer service here. So attentive and friendly. We ordered a whole chicken which was perfectly cooked. This is the best Nando’s we’ve been to in ages. We even received free brownies as a little treat from the manager. Can’t wait to come back.

Loved the food. It took longer than usual but was warned of this so wasn't an issue. The waitress we had was amazing. She was polite and genuine. I believe her name was Erin. The only downside was a older couple next to us who complained about food..yet the waiters had food remade..then after eating ALL of the original food and the new food, demanded a refund...overall a great time. The unlimited coke from the machine was tasteless and watered down. One of my disabled friends cannot drink cold water and asked for hot water but that couldn't be provided as there was no kettle to make warm water which seemed strange for a big restaurant like that. We left everything and returned only to be told to take you should have taken your time and comeback as the restaurant was nearly empty this was bad as all 3 of us were disabled. The disable toilet was not functioning. Staff were friendly and helpful. The takeaway was well packed. Only no sauces or tissues were given with the takeaway which was a problem later for us. We ate in and had a takeaway.

If you know Nando's, you either love it or hate it. I for one love Nando's and go at least a few times a year (which for me is rare to repeatedly go to the same place) This in itself doesn't mean much, but if you have tried Nando's before you have tried this one. The food is exceptional and consistent. The plus point here is the QR code order system and the friendliness of the staff. Well worth a visit if you are in York area.

What is not to like!? Our server was so lovely and accommodating, moved furniture to get the 'wheels of steel' in me. Even went up and got napkins, cutlery and any sauces we required. Food was hot and delicious as usual and very filling. Atmosphere great. Love this place.

The setting is very welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food was nice. There were books on the side so the kids were entertained. I liked that each item on the menu could be customised so that you're not sticking out like a sore thumb if you're on a diet. I wasn't happy about the state of the ladies toilets, but my husband took our little boy to the men's toilets and he said they were clean, so maybe that's just a one off. I'd quite happily go back again.

Great food as always. Best quick meal you can get, around here anyway. It gets really busy late afternoon/early evening so I'd recommend going mid day or if you do decide to eat later, get it to take out. You'll get served straight away and you can sit in your warm car and enjoy your food in peace.

I called here on a Wednesday evening just after 6pm. A busy Nando's on a popular retail park on the outskirts of York. There is ample time limited parking close by. All the usual menu items. Restaurant is comfortable enough, although the music can be a bit loud. The food was well cooked and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful.

My partner is gluten free, she has not had a problem that we have noticed as yet but we have noticed that food is cooked and handled with shared equipment. They handle the corn with the same tongues as the garlic bread. They are also quite busy, there are often long waits and don't often have much time to find out answers.

Mandi's menu has changed on some items. I think the standard has drop. The double chicken wrap or the burger seems to be less ingredients maybe to cut costs. The quality of chicken seems to be poor (the chicken is a bit tuf) it's not soft taste as it used to be.

This evening the staff at this Nandos have been superstars! We live in Whitby but my partner was working in York so I placed an order online for collection and my partner was late and then went to the wrong Nandos, meaning it was past closing time when he finally got there, they stayed open so he could collect (after giving me a call beforehand) and even gave us extra because they'd recooked the order due to late collection. I cannot thank them enough, it's been ages since I've had a Nandos and the whole experience was made superb by them - Thank you so much ❤️🙏

'Love Nando's love chicken. This fairly small restuarent is situated close to Monks X just outside York. It shares lots of free parking and a wide range of other Restaurants. It shares the shopping park with large John Lewis, Next and M&S, all who open late. Nando's has friendly staff and serve chicken dishes in many forms, all cooked to order and best enjoyed with various strengths of Piri Piri sauces. You get and table, make your choice froan extensive menu, take your table number to the serving counter to place your order and pay. Your meal is delivered to your table by serving staff. Food is reasonably priced. I love to eat at Nando's
