My experience was excellent!!! I am a chef and appreciate good food. We arrived at 10:57 pm just before close and they happily served us. The food was hot and fresh and very tasty. We ordered the crispy beef in sautéed onions, chow mein, and won ton soup. All were perfectly prepared with lots of spices and fresh ingredients. To be honest, I am very surprised at the low rating - maybe they’ve hired a new chef? Whatever the reason I can happily say this is fantastic Chinese food!

The Food and service could have been better. Need improving. I had a Thai chicken green curry. I was surprised to find in the sauce a big lump of what looked like curry paste, it was not mixed properly which is a shame. This was my 2nd visit and sadly it will be my last.

Special chow mein, portion of chips, 1, curry sauce, 1, egg fried rice, first off, chip portion small for price compared to other Chinese’s, like a small burger tray, egg fried rice, anaemic , poor, like boiled rice with strand of egg in, not very fried. The chow mein has those thin type stringy noodles, not the thicker ones, the meat includes large pieces of squid or octupus, if you like this, then youl be happy, there’s a prawn or 2, tainted bits of chicken, the bits of pork and some of that beef they all put in, not the best.., quite usual of bog standard that’s getting wheeled out everywhere, but you can tell they put some effort into it, and it will fill you, I’d give the chow mein a 7.5 all in all, chips a 5, rice a 4, delivery lady was very pleasant and friendly. I’d give 3.5 stars all together , based on my experience , with what I ordered, much better than others I’ve reviewed, not sure I’d order again , as the chow mein isn’t what I’m searching for, and the prices were a little too steep, all the items were clean, and hot. Still not found a ‘go to’ ‘Chinese’ in York.., search goes on

Had a great takeaway from here while staying with family. All of us loved what we ordered

Was very surprised to see the bad reviews. Me and my partner had a lovely experience, we ate in the restaurant and found the staff to be very attentive and polite. Food was very reasonably priced and arrived quick. I had the mock duck in black bean and me and my partner agreed it was one of the best black bean dishes we've had. Portion sizes weren't massive but were reasonable and left us room for some green tea cake which was lovely.

Quickly stopped here for some take out food the other evening. Ordered - Spicy chips, curry sauce and special fried rice. Food was ok, rice and curry sauce was lovely but the prawns were a little chewy. Extra star warranted however, with thanks to the young lady working the front desk. She chased us down the street as we had left our umbrella behind. Many thanks again.
