E. W.Amazing place to eat. Highly recommend. Clean. Really friendly, happy staff. Clean. Great prices. Food was immense. Ordered a mega mix grill and a loaded surf and turf. All piping hot and sizzling. It tasted delicious. Was perfect. If you visit York you must come in here for a bite to eat. I would book as very busy.
K. C.Such a lovely pub environment, we have been coming for 5 years and the service is incredible! The staff are always smiling and always good to chat too even when they are busy! The food is always 5* no matter what we decide to have! Huge shout out to Catie, who always serves us and make sure we are happy and everything is spot on!

A.Not often does a place cook great meals on a Monday and being their first customer for menu opening they did just that.
Food was fresh and so good! Great deals they had. 2 for £10 Mains & 3 for £11 starters which is what we got. And not a single crumb left by the time we were finished. Too good and we’ll be back
S. S.Popped in with the family (7 in total) on the off chance of finding a table, they accommodated us immediately and we have just had the loveliest pub meals.
The steak was cooked to perfection and the rest of the meals were delicious too. Been to other sizzling pubs before but this is by far the best food We’ve had in any of them.
G. B.Cheap n cheerful. Had jacket potatoes which were obviously microwaved, only just cooked properly and despite the toppings on the dry side. It was OK but I wouldn't go back again.
W. H.All good. Cheap and cheerful. To be honest I had a sirloin steak, not expecting much die to the price but it was actually really good! Beer is fine and well prices and staff lovely. Can't fault it for what you pay.
